Sects are similar to mortal schools where students go to learn, but that is as far as the similarities go.

"I refuse." Tian Yi said, dumbfounding the people again.

Why did he refuse? For not one, but two people to refuse the personal invitation of the Sect Masters of the Ancient Lands, who the hell would believe that if the word spreads?

The Four Ancient Lands have widespread fame and countless achievements that dates back to the ancient times, spreading even to the other three Continents that are separated by the Divine Sea— they are places that one would go even if they have to sell their soul to the devil!

Yet the invitation to such a distinguished place was refused by two individuals? Are they retarded or... retarded?

The three Sect Masters frowned upon hearing his answer.

"Why wouldn't you want to join? Do you not know of the Four Ancient Lands?" Lu She asked in a doubting tone.

The only way to explain the current situation was that these two did not know of the Four Ancient Lands. If they didn't know, of course, they wouldn't want to join. However, could there still be people out there in this world that have not heard of the Four Ancient Lands? That was hard enough to believe by itself!

"I know of the Four Ancient Lands," Tian Yi replied in a calm manner. "I just have a feeling that such a place is not meant for me."

The three Sect Masters nearly coughed up a mouthful of blood upon hearing his reason for not wanting to join the Four Ancient Lands.

Just because of a mere 'feeling,' he was not willing to join their Sect? What kind of ridiculousness was that?!

Even the people around them could feel the hidden anger in their blood boil. Most of them came here hoping to get noticed by these Sect Master even if they lose a few limbs in the process, yet these two idiots refused these Sect Masters personal invitation? In their eyes, Tian Yi and Meng Xiang were simply spitting on their dream in front of them!

The crowd was jealous and angry at the same time. Tian Yi and Meng Xiang were given a guaranteed chance to have what they wished to have even in their dreams, yet the two of them just slapped that chance off their hand and gave some half-assed reason as to why they refused. If that didn't anger these people here, then nothing in this world would be able to anger them!

"If that is all seniors want, then we will excuse ourselves." Tian Yi said and turned around to walk away holding Meng Xiang's hand.

His casual actions caused the brows of these Sect Masters to twitch.

What a slap in the face to them! They took their time to lower themselves to invite him, yet this is the result?! If it weren't for the little girl and her talent, then they wouldn't have even glanced at him, let alone wasting their time and energy to invite him, too!

"Halt!" Lu She shouted, and the air shook. He was clearly upset at the situation.

Tian Yi stopped walking and turned to look at him. "Is there something else senior needs?" he asked him, his expression still nonchalant.

"That little girl, leave her here if you do not want trouble!" he said, dumbfounding not only Tian Yi, but even the other two Sect Masters.

'What are you doing?! Are you forgetting that the mysterious senior is still around?!' Yu Weng said to him via Divine Sense.

Lu She's expression stiffened upon hearing her words. He had forgotten about the mysterious senior because of Meng Xiang's shocking talent!

And just as Lu She was about to take back his words, a cold voice echoed from the distance, stopping him from opening his mouth. "Do not touch him!" said the voice.

When the people turned to look at who this voice that dared to talk back to Lu She belonged to, they were shocked to see an extremely beautiful female in blue robes flying towards them.

And behind this extremely beautiful female was an old lady who was emitting an aura even more profound than the three Sect Masters!

"D-Divine Grace Yu?!" The crowd cried out after seeing her beautiful frowning face.

"Ancestor?!" Yu Weng cried out with shock. What is the Ancestor of the Azure Phoenix Sect doing all the way out here?!
