After leaving the Jade Phoenix's Auction House, Tian Yi brought Meng Xiang to walk around the Soaring Sun City.

They acted like tourists, walking in and out of every store they saw. Tian Yi bought everything that looked interesting enough, even things as common as a paper fan.

Now with a white paper fan in his hands, he comforted himself with graceful movements as he continued touring the city.

"Big Brother, do you like that fan?" Meng Xiang asked him who have been fanning himself for the past few hours without stop.

"Un." He nodded. "It creates this calm and relaxing atmosphere every time I fan it."

Tian Yi and Meng Xiang walked around the Soaring Sun City for nearly an entire day, yet neither of them seemed to want to stop.

As a cultivator with a Spirit Ascension Stage cultivation base, Meng Xiang's stamina broke through mortal limits, allowing her to go without sleep, food or water for many days and still feel fine, as though she was an immortal.

After reaching to the center of the Soaring Cloud City, the two suddenly halted their steps.

It was a large area with countless people standing around as though there was a show going on in the middle.

"What is happening here?" Tian Yi asked a random group of pedestrians.

"Ah, this is where the Stairway to Heaven competition will be held."

"Although it does not start until a few days from now, many people have gathered here early for the best view."

"Additionally, the disciples of the Four Ancient Lands are also here. Look over there, the four group of people wearing colored robes."

Tian Yi turned to look at the center where four groups of people stood, each staring at the other with ferocity in their unfriendly gaze.

The first group was all dressed in green robes, they were disciples of the Divine Serpent Sect. Their gaze at the other three group was filled with venom, as though they were real serpents looking at their preys.

Then there was the Azure Phoenix Sect, the disciples wearing blue robes to match their cold expressions.

The third group was the Heavenly White Tiger Sect, wearing white robes with black stripes randomly marked around the robes. They all looked as if they were ready to pounce on the others despite the competition being a few days away.

And last but not least was the Ancient Dragon Sect. This group, one everybody expected to be the most aggressive and domineering today, was nothing but a group of worn-out disciples looking as though they were all beaten with a stick before even coming here. In simple terms, they looked miserable.

None of the Ancient Dragon disciples there showed even the slightest motivation to be there, their orbs dim and wavering as though they were afraid of something or someone.

If it weren't for their golden robes and the silver dragon circling around their robes, none of the people there today would have believed them to be disciples of the always arrogant and prideful Ancient Dragon Sect, the strongest land amongst all four Ancient Lands!

"Aiya, I heard that when they returned to the Ancient Dragon Sect, all of them experienced the Sect Master's fury. Even the Supreme Elder got a beating from him…"

"What bad luck for them. If that Tian Long wasn't so arrogant and full of himself, would what happened yesterday even happen?"

"I bet he dug himself a hole by picking the wrong maiden to mess with. No, or should I say he won the lottery? Hahaha!"

The crowd started laughing, their voices loud and clear, purposely letting the people from the Ancient Dragon Sect hear it.

If it was before, none of them would have dared. But looking at how pathetic and fragile-looking the Ancient Dragon Sect disciples looked at this moment, all of them wanted to spit on them, throwing up all the anger and disgust they held for the Ancient Dragon Sect that was being suppressed inside their stomachs for many years.

The Ancient Dragon Sect, although red with anger and embarrassment, none of them dared to speak up, their hands gripped tightly into a fist— so tightly it was bleeding.

Why must they endure this public face-slapping? Are they not disciples of the mighty Ancient Dragon Sect any longer?

This was all that Tian Long's fault! If it weren't for his evil actions, that Heavenly Tribulation would have never occurred and all of them would still be standing with pride and arrogance at this moment!

However, because he wanted to go around breaking young maidens, he ended up digging his own grave along with the Sect's reputation, even dragging a leg of all of his fellow disciples into the grave with him!

The disdaining from the crowd continued, but all of them bore the hate with grinding teeth.

They wanted to start a slaughter, killing everyone there, even those who did not open their mouth, but alas, with that mysterious senior's presence unknown, none of them dared to lift even a finger!

Each laugh that resounded felt like an invisible slap in their face!

The crowd was dumbfounded by the scene, and their bodies trembled slightly before exploding with laughter in every direction.

The other three Ancient Lands frowned at the scene, some even starting to pity the Ancient Dragon Sect disciples.

However, once they recalled all of the humiliation they felt in the past because of them, their pity towards them disappeared, replaced with glee.

"This is what karma looks like, you bastards!" Some of them mumbled in the endless laughter.

The laughing continued for many moments, but seconds later, a ripple filled with heavenly power swept the place, forcing the laughter to halt.

"Who dared to laugh at the Ancient Dragon Sect in my presence? Step forward to accept your death!"

A loud and clear voice boomed amidst the ripple spread, shocking and dumbfounding the people there.

"I-It's the Sect Master of the Ancient Dragon Sect, Long Chen!"
