After a moment, Caiyi shoved the medallion back into her robes and ran out the door with urgency, but not leaving before she said her goodbyes. "Shuyi, I will be right back! There is something I must confirm at the cathedral!"

And with that, she disappeared, leaving behind two puzzled individuals.

With Caiyi gone, the room was silent. Meng Xiang sat on a chair in front of Tian Yi, silently watching him. Tian Yi sat there with a frown, silently wondering why Caiyi looked so urgent.
