Yu Ming Lian wanted to dash towards the nearest window and jump. No matter what she do, she could not make the mysterious shareholder join the meeting because she had no idea how to contact him!

The former shareholders refused to concede who was it that bought their shares. What they did was stupidity I tell you! Did they forgot who're the Li family and how it was an honor for them to even call themselves shareholders of the Hong Long Company?!

Just how much money did that new shareholder cost him to buy all four of the company's shares? Hundreds of trillionths?!

"Wuwuwu. Mr Li is such a bully." Yu Ming Lian sobbed, her forehead was covered in black lines. She let out a silent pray to all the god, goddess or deities she knew for salvation. She prayed that they'll send someone to save her from this quagmire.

And as if it was a response from heaven, the telephone rang. Yu Ming Lian cleared her throat and composed herself before answering.

"Hong Long Company, this is CEO Li's secretary speaking." She said, professionally.

"What? are you sure?" Yu Ming Lian uttered in disbelief. God did not forsake her! On the contrary, he sent her a seraph! [1]

Crazy as it may sound but, she's excited for the meeting. She anticipated that this will change everything. According to the caller's instructions, she must not let Ethan know about the change and let him be surprised.

With a sly grin on her red lips, Yu Ming Lian though this is retribution for making her suffer.

(Inside the office, where Lillie snuck in to 'borrow' the confidential documents.)

An old man in his late 50s was fuming in anger. The paper he held crumpled because of his intense grip.

"Useless thing!" The man, kneeling in front of him flinched when his head collide with a glass. The pain was bearable because of the harsh trainings he've received, but still cannot help but wince as shards pierced his head.

The old man smashed his hands on his wooden table and began to reprimand and ruthlessly criticized the injured man.

"I asked you to do such minor mission and not only did you manage to loose all of the shares, you also lost the others!"

"We've failed to have a firm grasp within White Phoenix Empire because of that Zhang Guan's stupidity, that I can still understand. But you...I didn't expect that even you, would fail!" The old man cruelly kicked the man on his stomach, sending him flying until he hit the wall.

The man, ignoring all the pain, scurried to kneel and bow his head. "Father, I know I am wrong! I will not ask for forgiveness and shall accept any punishment father wanted to inflict on me." The man forced himself to say all of those just to ease his father's wrath.

He will endure any hardship or pain his father will throw him as long as he won't forsake him from the family.

"Humph! Go to the dungeon and ask for your punishment. Your Lei will fix and handle this case." She Gu, indifferently instructed.

She Gu was non other than the current boss of Red Dragon Mafia.

"Yes, father..." The man clenched his fists, his teeth gritted. He's the eldest, the first born! He's the legitimate son and yet that bastard is the only son his father sees.

Composing himself, the man turned around limped out of his father's office.

When She Jing left his father's office, he stumbled weakly against the walls. Blood oozed out from his wounds, his ribcages were broken because of his father's powerful hit. His mind became blurry and felt dizzy because of blood lost.

Hearing soft clicking of shoes coming towards him, She Jing slowly raised his head. A scowl formed and his eyes turned malicious when he saw who it was.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you." He muttered with a low growl.

The tall and handsome man in front of him was non other than She Lei, his second brother. The apple in their father's eyes.

She Lei let out a wicked grin, loving the way he get to look down on his eldest brother.

"Can't say I don't." He shamelessly admitted. She Jing didn't reply instead gave him his most ferocious glare.

She Lei clicked his tongue, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You really let dad down on this one, bro." The playful expression on his face was completely wiped off and changed into a cold and expressionless one.

His golden orbs didn't left his eldest brother's common, brown eyes. As if She Lei wasn't staring as his kin but a pitiful creature. One of the reasons She Gu, their father, doted on the second and illegitimate son instead of his eldest is because of his unique golden eyes.
