LEGEND OF THE GOLDEN TIGRESS 62 DON'T THINK ABOUT ANOTHER WOMAN

Xing ran out of the dining hall and started running towards the bamboo garden they had inside their Manor followed by Shengli.

Oh heavens! Why cannot Master agree to their marriage and let me free of this suffering? I'm too old to keep on watching over these young people! Xu mama who was running behind them could not keep up with them and panted. But she had to follow them as it was her master's command.

Xu mama almost had a heart attack to see her young miss stripping in the middle of the bamboo forest. Shengli was with her too and he was holding all her headdress and tokens in his hands and he didn't have a grasp of the situation too.

"Young Miss, you cannot...", as Xu mama was speaking, Xing removed her waistband and stripped layers of clothes making Xu mama almost faint.

This young miss will make me die early! She is too willful and wild! I can handle most of it but stripping outdoors is way too much! Xu mama felt like the world was spinning around her.

But to her surprise, there was a layer of men's scholar robes in Royal blue colour underneath the clothes she was wearing. Just how many layers was she wearing? Xu mama sighed in relief.

"Yes!", Xing stretched her limbs, " Now I am free and my outfit matches my shoes", she grinned happily.

Before they could relax, Xing shouted at Shengli to hold her hair and started vomiting. Her entire face had become pale and her eyes teary. Shengli asked Xu mama to braid her hair and he held Xing's forehead and patted her back. Xu mama braided her hair along with the pearls which added the beauty to her hair and immediately sent for maids to take the dress she threw a while back to her room and asked to bring hot water.

Shengli became too worried and his hands became cold as he was holding her forehead. He had never seen her sick like this before.She had never been sick before, she used to sleep for days sometimes but she never had even sneezed before. Even Haru would call her 'rock' for her immunity.

Shengli's eyes were cold and he looked like he would end the world now. Everytime she retched, he had a perturbed look and Xu mama could see his body tensing. Xu mama retreated back seeing his protective aura as she knows how dangerous when he was worrying about her.

Xing's face got its usual color after she bawled her stomach out and washed her face with warm water. Her makeup was completely removed revealing her little mole on her upper lip. Shengli patted her face dry with his kerchief and was still worried with his eyebrows tightly knitted. Xing could feel his cold hands and realised, the anxiousness had made his usually warm hands cold. She explained,

" For some reason aphrodisiacs have this effect on me. It's nothing more. I am fine now", she assured him. He still looked concerned and only after she repeatedly assured him did he believe her.

But soon his concerned looks changed murderous. Xing could see his thoughts. He wanted to hurt WanRou who made her vomit.

"Do not think about it", Xing told him firmly.

"Why? Because she is family?", Shengli stopped Xing who was about to leave.

Xing just gave him a glance and started to walk away when he pulled her by the wrist,

"Answer me, Xing! Just because she is family, she is allowed to do whatever to you and treat you however she want to?", his voice had arrogance and a little concern for her too.

" I've slapped her hard and she is punished too. Isn't that enough? Why do you keep mentioning her?", Xing tried to pry her hands from his grip but it only tightened.

" Xing", he called and tried to look at her face but she turned her head making Shengli realise that she wants to run away again. His anger dissipated immediately and he wanted to know the real reason she said what she said.

"Xing, Why? Why can't I mention her? ", he asked, his voice deep and mellow making Xing weak.

"You just can't.."

"Why?", he whispered in her ears and her face got red. Shengli had a smirk as he noticed it.

Xing realised this guy is teasing her again and mustered all her strength and pushed him away.

"You perverted fox! Did you think you can go on seducing women as you wish? How dare you? Not only that, you are using the excuse of getting back at her for me as a reason to keep on thinking about her. You even tried to touch her with your chopsticks previously. You cheater! ", she shouted and punched his sturdy chest.

Xu mama could hear her shout from a distance and she felt scared for her young miss. The young miss was the one who agreed that she was with young master Rijun in the middle of night and Xu mama was worried Young Master Shengli might hold it against her. And now she is getting angry at him even though he didn't even look at that girl? Also trying to kill is not the same as trying to touch, is it? Xu mama looked at Shengli but contrary to her expectations, he started chuckling.

"My adorably jealous kitten!", Shengli held the struggling Xing close and kissed the crown of her head.

Xing who realised that unusual feeling that she had was jealousy and she felt embarrassed. She pushed him and pouted, "Why are you happy? It's not a good feeling for me. But don't ever think about another woman even to avenge for me ", she scoffed.

Shengli found that adorable and held her neck with his hand and placed his forehead on hers, " Do you feel bitter, my love?", he kissed her forehead, "But your bitter feeling tastes like honey for me. I love it",he chuckled and before she reacted, held her hand firmly and walked towards the kitchen,

"Let me make that porridge auntie Ling makes for me when I used to get sick. You threw up everything", he spoke while walking and Xing just followed him obediently.

A man who can cook! At least I won't starve! Somehow Xing felt content.

Shengli sent everyone in the kitchen away and Xu mama had to be the door guard.

Xing watched him meticulously preparing the ingredients and he looked more handsome than ever. He had pulled his sleeves up and his forearms were visible and she could see the blue nerves that were visible and it looked alluring. She saw his long boney fingers skillfully cutting the vegetables and she wanted those fingers to play on her naked body and she wanted those closed collars of his to be opened and to slide her fingers through that beautiful collar bones of his and through that firm chest and lower and lower....

".. ing.. Xing, Are you okay? You look flushed. Just wait a moment. It'll be finished soon", his concerned voice made Xing jerk and she got out from her weird daydream that made abnormal sensations in her stomach. Whoa! That was dangerous and so weird! This had never happened before! I should stop reading my usual novels! Xing decided.

"Bright Moon Treasury...? Isn't that a weird name for a bank?", Xing asked trying to change her mind that wandered to weird thoughts.

"You think so?", Shengli had a playful smile. He wasn't sure if she had found his other identity.

"So what? Does everything in there belong to me, LI CHENGNUO? ", she raised her eyebrows and smirked playfully.

Shengli smiled, so she did find out. He wiped his hands and got two similar looking keys one in iron and another in gold. He gave her the gold one, half kneeling in front of her,

" My moon, my love! This is everything I own and I give it to you", he smiled at her. Xing saw his smile same as the one he had in that pond when he said he'll belong to her.

This Prince of mine... Always doing everything for me! He probably took another identity for me too! The Lone wolf would have been under the observation of Shihong. So he should have taken this other identity to help me as someone else! Xing felt like crying. Before she knew it, tears started rolling down her cheeks nonstop and Shengli panicked,

"Hey, Xing!", he held her close to him, "Why are you crying? Come on.. Don't be like this! I'm sorry.. I'm sorry", he patted her back.

Why are you sorry for, my Prince! Why do you love me this much when I am only trouble? Even now after everything you've done for me, I am the one sitting and you are kneeling in front of me! What did I do to deserve you?

Xing composed herself and looked at Shengli who was stressed by her tears with knitted eyebrows. She gently rubbed his forehead and cupped his cheeks,

" This is the key for the secret locker you have in your room, isn't it?", she asked and he nodded, "It has all the ownership documents and accounts of everything I own", he looked at her with a gentle smile, "No one knows about it yet you found that secret locker. So, Why didn't you ask me about it?"

" That's because I wanted you to tell me yourself, silly", she knocked his head playfully and he smiled, " Since you've given me your everything, should I give what's mine to you?", she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"No", he spoke in a sultry voice, " What's yours is yours too", he grabbed her waist which made her flinch a little.

Xing snorted, "If so, since I have everything and you nothing, won't you be more beneficial than me when we marry and I'll be marrying someone with nothing?", she looked in his emerald eyes that were inches away from her and she could feel his breath mixed with the smell of blossoms on her.

" Hmm... That's true", he smiled, the same gentle smile that gets her everytime, " So.. I can only give you myself". His voice was low and deep and he spoke with conviction and with no doubts and his eyes were fixed on her.

Xing could feel her eyes clouded and her throat almost closed, " You are enough and you are all I want ", she said with her voice trembling. She meant it! If she had to choose between him and everything else, she would choose him every single time over evwrything else.

Both of them with their eyes locked at each other felt the happiness that came with that confession. It was more meaningful than the pact they made in childhood as both of them realised no matter what the future holds they cannot give up each other at any cost.

With their eyes locked, Shengli's grip on her waist tightened and Xing held his neck close too and their lips gradually drew closer and touched. That kiss was gentle, passionate and deep as it touched both their souls and.... Clank! A loud noice was heard when a maid who came in dropped the jar she was holding and both Xing and Shengli sprung from their places and stood apart from each other with their faces red.

Shengli went on carrying out his cooking in the stove while Xing fanned herself and drank lot of water since she felt a bit parched. The awkward maid apologised profusely and Xing just waved her out. How embarrassing!
