As the Envoy, Xing offered the sword and to her surprise the Fire Emperor half knelt in front of her along with his wife and the entire court followed their Emperor and knelt with their forehead touching the marble floor.
With both hands the Fire Emperor accepted the sword when the entire court chanted greetings for the Divine Ruler.
Xing was already used to people kneeling in front of her but Chenglei by her side felt extremely uncomfortable and Xing sensed it.
When she turned to look at Chenglei he had a dark expression in his face and his entire body emitted coldness making Xing shiver for a moment.
