As she walked closer, she could see the worry in his eyes as he was looking at the direction she was at some moment ago.

She stretched her hand towards him and seeing the arrow in his chest sent a shiver through her body and her hands trembled.

"Chenglei...", she tried to call him but a lump formed in her throat and she gulped as she stepped closer. Apart from the sound of her heart beat, there was no other sound and the entire place felt cold and isolated as if it was enveloped with a strong force.

Prince Kang entered reluctantly after taking a look outside, since it was someone else's room and he remembered Chenglei being hit with an arrow.

"Is he fine?", he asked Xing who was looking at Chenglei closely for some time.

"So what? He thought he could take the wife by killing the husband?", Xing asked confused. Do people even do that?

Her confused expression turned surprised as she saw Prince Kang rolling his eyes affirming her suspicion.

"He will not wake up! He will be in a coma for the rest of his life!", she wiped her tears and a small smile bloomed in his face.

They promised to protect his life. His life is protected but he will sleep for the rest of his life...
