Xing got down from the roof when Rijun approached her and the Emperor got back into the Study after Rijun greeted him. Their relationship did seem strained.

Not only this woman inquired him about Xu Mama but also she seems close with his father spending time with him a lot lately and his father seems to be in good health lately after he met her. Xing didn't think much of it and returned back in the carriage her brother sent her. She expected Chenglei would join her for dinner like in the past few days but he didn't and she already missed him.

After taking a bath and drinking her usual honeyed milk, Xing went to bed and she went to sleep pretty soon. Xiao Mei had a small room beside her room to stay and her Manor usually had lesser guards.

In the middle of the night, Xing felt something heavy over her and she couldn't move as she felt like her hands were pinned up her head and she felt uncomfortable as her face felt covered by something ticklish and a strong odour of alcohol entered her nose.

Xing woke up hissing with pain in her ears as it burned like it was bit and the familiar silver hair came to her view the moment she woke up. She couldn't even see his face.

Chenglei was straddling over her sitting in her thighs with his right hand holding both her hands above her head and his lips were gnawing on her face and Xing could not move even a bit. His hold was strong and she was still muddled just awake from her sleep.

"Oww! What are....", before she could finish her sentence, Chenglei looked into her confused eyes with his eyes dark and filled with emotions and with no consideration for her, he pressed his mouth on her mouth hard stopping her from speaking.

Xing would not call it a kiss because he was just pressing her hard and she was too confused by his behaviour.

What is he trying to do?

Chenglei who left the palace enraged, got drunk trying to get over this woman who has someone else in his heart. His mind only wandered to extremes and for some reason he could not even decide to forget her. So in his rage that seemed to be only kindled more by the alcohol he had, he stupidly decided to claim her body by force so she has no other way but to accept him.

What if she has someone else in her heart? He'd claim her body and her heart has to follow, right?

He easily got to her room and there she was, sleeping deeply like the flower she was. He sat by her side and her beautiful face was too pure and lovely.
