It also looked like with Takano leaving her side, the Dowager only got more annoyed and is hurting Yukiko with words.

Xing felt really bad for her but her love for her husband is what's keeping her in the palace and she didn't know the solution. Her problem is not her inability to get pregnant but carrying the child to term since it is being hurt by others. Xing really felt helpless towards this friend of hers.
