Xing didn't feel any different probably because Chenglei was with her but she could understand why he must be this worried.

She kissed his hand, "I promised you I'll be safe, didn't I? I sure will keep my promise. So don't worry, my Prince!", she spoke in a gentle tone with her lips curved up slightly. She really wanted everything to be fine.

The door opened and Xing saw Shihong walking in with a halberd in his hands and Xing could sense the power emitting from the halberd has significantly increased. She just pretended to be weak and concealed her own power to throw Old Rong off guard.
