"Sister! Leave with me" Takanashi ordered Takano who for some reason was mad even after all that, "I fear for your life in this place. You have no one to support you", he looked at her and Xing could see the slight concern he had for his sister in his stern face.

"Husband... ", Takano looked at Rijun pleading.

"If you want to plead for your brother, you can save it and leave with him! No one could even think of hurting my little sister! ", Rijun was curt and left the hall in longer strides without even turning back.

He really didn't want someone who would try to hurt his sister to have any part with his family. Surely his sister is strong and could protect herself and he was sure, even that guy's fingertips wouldn't have touched her, but still...

Ryuga was the one who had to apologise to each and every one of them for his rude behaviour before he left.

Xing who had gotten sober with all these drama left her Manor to the Palace with the Emperor.

Next morning Huojin asked for an audience in the Imperial Study.

"Your Majesty! Your highness! My brother... Where did he go?", he asked politely even though his face was extremely worried. He had to pretend everything is fine in front of his mother these days and it was tiresome.

"Why? Did you get any news from him?", the Emperor asked sitting straight. He felt like something was wrong and so did Xing.

"He'd been sending letters every other day in the past two weeks but we didn't receive any in the past three days. Mother's been asking for his letter and I had to lie to her" he sighed and Xing felt her hear skip a beat.

Oh, Seiren! What trouble have you encountered? Could it be Shihong? Xing's face paled.

She sent for Lin Mubai as she had asked him to send someone to follow Seiren secretly since he refused any bodyguards.

"Speak, by who? ", Xing urged him.

"By... It was brother wolf! He... He looked at me differently as if he really wanted to kill me... I barely escaped with my life. I could say Lord Zhong Seiren is abducted by him", Lin Mubai gulped.
