" Is what she saying is true? Are you really my sister?"

Chenglie roared at Shihong which made him flinch. But the seemingly scared Shihong as if he is submissive to Chenglie, made Xing too mad.

Aren't you the villan who wanted revenge on everything and everyone in this world because everything is wrong? Don't you have this powerful god who promised the destruction of your enemies and the highest position for you? Why are you cowering in front of my man as if his opinion about you matters?

"Yep, he took some medications and become what he is now because your father refused to acknowledge him and apparently he worked in the palace as a maid along with Eunuch Xin around the time your ninth brother was born and he left the palace seven months before I was born after stealing Old Rong along the way and you gave him a kerchief while he was in the palace that made him fall for you! ", Xing added fuel to the fire. She really could not leave that kerchief out and blamed Chenglie along the way too.

And while saying this, she realised that she was conceived after Old Rong was stolen from the palace. So I WAS made only for that purpose!

Chenglie who heard her stood frozen. Shihong knew Eunuch Xin for that much years? He stole Old Rong? And he is my sister? My sister..? And why is this adorable cat not so surprised that Shihong is a woman? She already knew, didn't she?

"Why???", Shihong's shout from the pit of his stomach brought them both to their senses and Shihong had already reached Xing with a dagger and tried to stab her.

His chest was heaving up and down and he looked like he had lost his mind. The secret he decided to keep for long is outed by this person who is said to be so kind and forgiving. What about her is good? Old Rong lied that she'd be convinced!

Xing just pushed Shihong back with her ability to control wind and she could not let Shihong go with no repercussions. She wanted him to remember not to try to fool her once again and to stay as her enemy as he should.

"You wanted my son, right?", Xing's voice trembled that made Chenglie feel the pain and he felt guilty for bringing her out here.

"Here! Now this would teach you a lesson!", she used her Wind Manipulation technique and undid Shihong's long hair that reached upto his waist and with no second thoughts cut it by using the wind as scissors in one swipe.

If Shihong's act hurt her womb, she must give some equal shame to him back, right? What better way is there for someone who thinks of himself as the First Princess to get his hair cut?

"Ahhh!!!", Shihong screamed in panic and fell on the floor, picking up the long strands of his light brown hair on the floor wailing. He touched his head where the hair didn't even reach his shoulders and he started to sob and his wails filled the room.

Xing's eyes were glowing amber as noticed by Chenglie and she didn't seem to be satiated by this broken Shihong in front of her now.

'Don't kill him just yet, Xing!', Chenglie wanted to tell Xing, 'We still need him to find Old Rong!'

But Xing was entirely focused on Shihong and kicked him in the stomach and as he held his stomach and crouched in pain, she grabbed him by the hair and gave him a slap.

All Xing was thinking right now was the pain in her stomach she felt when she woke up that day and the pain she felt in her heart when she learnt that she cannot bear children from that goddess. She wanted to transfer some of that to Shihong. She knew she could crush him like a bug right this instant but she wanted Shihong to suffer longterm.

She then gave another kick in Shihong's stomach hard and Shihong spit blood from his mouth.

Chenglie could not bear to see her this way but he didn't want to stop her either. Shihong is worthy of every pain Xing inflicts on him but now is not the time.

"Enough!", he shouted at Xing and tried to get to her. If he dies, Old Rong will disappear once more.

But Xing was too far gone as she was kicking and slapping Shihong again and Chenglie's voice distracted her and she waved her hand and Chenglie was pushed back by the force of the Wind and his back slammed on the wall and the wind held him there in that position, unable to move.

Chenglie saw her completely out of her rational mind, hitting Shihong again and again and he could not hold his emotions.

"Xing!", he called in a low whisper, "I'm sorry!"

If he didn't bring her here today, she wouldn't have to go through all these and her old wound wouldn't have been reopened!

Xing who was busy hitting Shihong heard that low whisper of Chenglie filled with great pain and only then she realised that she is actually holding Chenglie against the wall.

She immediately released Chenglie and took a deep breath. By now Shihong's entire face was filled with bumps and he didn't even have the energy to speak.

"Let Shihong go!", Chenglie said while walking towards Xing. He still needed to go back to Shihong to get her another chance of getting Old Rong.

Shihong whimpered, "My wolf!", hearing Chenglie standing by his side.

But Xing could see Chenglie's face filled with guilt looking at her and she could not figure out why he is sorry towards her.

Isn't she just getting her anger out on Shihong for giving her that Poison and for the gods deciding against her getting medicines to cure her, to keep themselves safe?

Xing made a deep cut in Shihong's forehead with the Wind acting as razor and blood started pouring into Shihong's eyes making him unable to see.

"That will definitely Scar! Remember me everytime you look in the mirror! I am your enemy!" She declared at Shihong.

Chenglie walked towards Xing and hugged her close. "I'm sorry!", he repeated as a whisper in her ears.

Xing pulled out of his hug and looked to see his eyes filled with regret.

This is not good... She traced her fingers over his creased brows and his pursed lips...

He cannot be sad!

She smiled....

That smile was filled with the love she had for him and the happiness she had to be held by him.

"No need!", she mouthed shaking her head... There is no need for him to be sad... There is no need for him to apologise... There is no need... For he is her everything!

She wrapped her arms around his neck and slightly pecked his lips. Chenglie who was surprised by this sudden act of her gathered himself pretty fast. He dropped the sword he had in his hand down and it fell down on the wooden floor with a clanking noise.

"My wolf, be careful", Shihong shouted amist his tries to stop the bleeding from his forehead that has blinded him temporarily. His head was ringing by the hard hits he received previously from that vicious woman. Still his lips were curled up sensing that his wolf is trying to save him not knowing what exactly was going on there.

Chenglie wrapped his arms around Xing's waist and lifted her up to his eye level. With both of them looking at each others eyes and learning each others feelings, that contained only the love they had for each other, forgetting everything around them, they didn't hear any other sound other than their heartbeats.

Soon the noise of the clattering of the pottery and the other weapons fixed on the wall falling down was heard by Shihong and the two who were kissing each other with passion expressing the love they had for each other and how much they miss each other didn't even hear the inquiries from Shihong.

Chenglie pushed Xing against the wall, all the while dropping and pushing all the things in their way. Xing was hugging him close to her and didn't even care about her surroundings.

Both their tongues danced together intertwined as their hearts were and the shattering and rolling noise didn't bother them.

But an earth shattering noise was heard when both of them who were gasping for air still having their lips and forehead touching each other taking in each others scent.

Xing saw Bai Li in his fox form who had gotten inside this place by breaking the roof, standing behind Chenglie signalling her that it was time to leave.

But Xing didn't want to...

Chenglie saw the fox form in her eyes and didn't bother to even look back and kissed her again and Xing hugged him close and even wrapped her legs around his waist , like a little monkey would hug its mother, not willing to let go of him and go back.

Bai Li sighed seeing the big girl acting like a small child would act on his first day to school.

Now what should I do?
