The Emperor asked Xing to follow him and they went close to the trench where on the other side of the trench the men of the Lilai Tribe were subjugated by the Zhong army under Zhong Huojin but they were still struggling to get free.

The Emperor nodded at Chief Batukhan who was surprised by everything happening there.

"I give you a deal..! Try and kill the Empress... I will give my throne to the one who takes the head of the Empress", he proclaimed.

Geez! Must you give them this good of an incentive! Xing chided the Emperor in her heart.

" But my bet is that, The Empress will kill all of you", the Emperor smirked, "Let's see how this all will turn out?"

"Kill them all, Mingxia!", the Emperor said and pushed her towards the trench and went back to his chair to take a seat. He didn't look worried even a little bit.

Everyone wondered how she might cross the trench. It was at least twenty feet wide and thirty feet deep and no one there could jump that much distance!

Xing who was still surprised with everything happening there, walked towards them with her eyes looking for the Tianshi Emperor. But when she spotted him, he was smiling at her asking her to fight well and Xing pouted as she was walking.

Geez! What's with the proud smile! Can't he join me for help?

She could hear the people gasping in surprise and that's when she noticed that she was standing halfway through the trench and beneath her feet is the deep trench which is now being filled with water almost to its half...

Okay! I've done it! Now everyone knows how weird I am!

Xing took a deep breath and crossed the trench walking through thin air. She was always adamant on keeping all her abilities secret because she knew some people will consider her a jinx or a spawn of devil looking at that. It had happened sometimes in her childhood when people saw her speaking with animals and they had called her some names. She always decided that she will not let that happen again.

But she had learned through time that not all people are that way and people like her father, Lord Zhong and her brother won't mind her even if she is weird and could do odd things.

If there are some people who thinks I am weird, then let them. There would be more people thinking that I am amazing anyway!

Xing calmed her heart and reached the other side and was welcomed by the violent attack of the soldiers there.

She drew the golden Divine Sword that let out a faint glow when she touched the hilt and started to counter the attacks in her. As soon as Xing made that little wish in her heart, she could see the single sword in her hand splitting into two with a bright golden glow making Xing pleasantly surprised.

This is amazing! Xing smirked. No wonder the Tianshi Emperor was proud of this sword. He was using double sword techniques with a single sword because the single sword can split into two...! How amazing! This sword deserves all the appreciation on the world.

Her master was right. This sword is so easy to handle and even though it was made of gold, it was much stronger than any other weapon and sliced through the metal armour they were wearing even.

Xing focused on those who was attacking her and she was killing them one by one and the blood of the dead flowed into the trench.

She didn't see the Emperor ordering those men who bear false witness to die.

"You said thirty two men overpowered her, right? Look at her...! Does she look like someone who could be overpowered by merely thirty two men?", he chided those men who believed the nonsense spouted about her. They saw her with one strike killing a man and in one slash killing three men cutting their head off. She was like a tiger fighting and everyone were like little rabbits who cannot handle a single blow from her swords.

This definitely cannot be the girl Huang AoTian raised and is she even human? She walks on thin air and she is fighting much better than a skilled swordsman. Just who is she? And how does a single sword split into two? Is the sword she is holding a divine sword?

Those who talked against her were ashamed and wanted to hide in a deeper hole to escape the wrath of the Emperor who was glaring at them by now.

"You forgot that she is the Golden Tiger the heavens sent to protect me, didn't you?", The Emperor smirked, "Look at her! Which one of you or your entire family could touch even a fingernail of her? Carelessly accusing her! Fall on the ground and prostate to beg for her mercy! Apologise to the heavens! May be your families will escape the Curse of the Gods. ", he sneered at them and they hung their head low in shame and knelt down immediately.

How scary! We cannot be cursed by the Gods!

Xing was in a streak and killed those who came at her and some men just knelt in front of her and surrendered.

" Your Highness, we will take care of them! ", Zhong Huojin who counted the men she killed to be tens more than two hundred, asked Xing to rest seeing her sword covered in blood, yet she didn't look that dirty.

Xing nodded at Huojin who with unapologetic fervance killed all the men of the Lilai tribe she had left along with his men. They were orders to not let a single man from the Lilai tribe live.

Xing then crossed back the trench the same way she came this side... By walking in thin air and she noticed the trench has now filled up with water to the brim.

The Emperor welcomed her with a smile and he had a proud expression in his face and so did the Tianshi Emperor.

The Emperor's servants got her sword and cleaned it and gave back to her and when she pressed it together the sword became one as if it was merged by fire.

Everyone were on the ground prostrating cowering in fear and Xing took a look at the weasels who had no integrity begging her to forgive them and she snorted.

But before she addressed them they heard a noise followed by a chilling feel and Xing saw the Emperor's face going pale and she turned back to see.....

The water in the trench standing tall upto fifty feet as if it had reached the sky and it looked like it would engulf them all at any moment...

A big wave that seemed like it would eat them up any moment....

Huh! Now what!
