The Emperor, not knowing what happened, ran towards the direction Xing ran and found her with an owl in her hand.

So she caught it?

When Xing got there she only saw the owl and had to chase it to catch it.

"Tell your master to show up or else I am not going to let you go. You can say goodbye to your master!", she held the owl by its leg so it can't fly away.

But there was no movement...!

Xing started to roast the owl to get its master to show up.

Xing felt bad for the owl but didn't stop roasting because she wanted her Master to come out. The Emperor was by her side and he just stood there not knowing what his take should be in everything that is happening around him.

Xing continued and was interrupted by a gentle and authoritative voice,

"Enough, kiddo! Let Yueyue go"

The Emperor stiffened up hearing that voice and he saw Xing smirking.

Oh, the arrogance! And he really is here!

"Master Yuan, show yourself to me or else I'll barbeque your Yueyue! "

"Is this how I taught you?", Master Yuan appeared in front of her mildly startling Xing and the Emperor.

"I don't know... I lost a lot of my memories with you because of a spell, it seems!", Xing talked back and a guilty expression appeared on his face.

The Emperor felt the oppressing aura emitting from that person in the Crimson robes and a mask and wondered why he wanted to kneel in front of him. He was the same height as Mingxia and didn't look burly but his gait was that of a warrior and his demeanour was that of a gentleman.

"I will answer all of your questions. But before that, let Yueyue go", he commanded.

But Xing is Xing and she just shrugged, "Show me your face first!"

"Let her go first!", he was firm.

The Emperor looked at the both of them facing each other in the setting sun with their crimson silk robes fluttering in the gentle breeze that brought the scent of the water droplets mixed with some herbs and both of them had no intention to move an inch and he just decided to be the silent observer.

In the end, it was Master Yuan who gave up first as Xing was unmoved.

Master Yuan removed the mask first revealing his amber eyes and then he proceeded to remove the Crimson cloth he used to cover his hair and the rest of his face.

Xing was surprised to see his jet black hair,

Isn't the characteristic of the Tianshi Emperor his black hair and Amber eyes? And why does he look so familiar?

The Emperor was the one who got the ultimate surprise.,

Why is this guy looking exactly like Mingxia? Replace her hair and eye colour, and they both will be like identical twins with similar facial features but this guy is like twenty six, twenty seven years old? Could they be siblings? But How could AoTian have a kid this old? He is just thirty four!

"You look familiar", Xing said letting the owl go and it flew happily and sat in a highest tree nearby. Xing keeps her promises as the good girl she is!

IS SHE SERIOUS? Familiar? He is your twin!

"Don't you look at mirrors, Mingxia?", the Emperor asked but Xing didn't understand his sarcasm once again and answered truthfully, "Not much, since I am ugly!"

She really thinks she is ugly?

But Xing was in other thoughts. For some reason once she looked at him, she felt like he is too similar to the Tianshi Emperor. He even had the mole on his left earlobe as it was mentioned about the Tianshi Emperor. Even if he is the descendent of the Tianshi Emperor, this is too much right? Xing decided against asking him and went near him and pulled his collar loosening his robe trying to peak under his robes in his left shoulder.

Thinking about all that made Xing angry and she fisted her hands.

"One more question, did you visit Lord Zhong Yingjie just before he passed away?", Xing asked with her face still facing the ground hiding her emotions.

"Yes, but he made his own choice", the Tianshi Emperor replied truthfully and without any remorse. He is the elder, right?

Xing snorted and a beautiful smile bloomed in her face now reddened with various emotions,

"Master Yuan, didn't I previously promise that I'll slap you the moment I see you again? Forgive me for not keeping the promise", she said and walked towards him.

The Emperor found something odd with her behaviour and watched her closely. What might she do? And didn't she say her mother's side had a long line of single daughters? So is she the last Descendant of the Tianshi Emperor?

The Tianshi Emperor wasn't that concerned. He was glad that he get to finally tell his descendent the secret he had kept for long... So long...!

"It's fine. In fact it is good manners. After all I'm your..."

A heavy punch landed in the Tianshi Emperor's face as he almost lost his balance , "... Ancestor", he finished his sentence and stood straight rubbing the left cheek where she punched him.

Xing just stood there blowing her knuckles that hurt with the punch but somehow the suffocating feeling in her chest got lifted.

The Emperor was petrified realising what he just witnessed.

MINGXIA IS THE LAST LIVING DESCENDANT OF THE TIANSHI EMPEROR!

AND SHE JUST PUNCHED THE TIANSHI EMPEROR RIGHT IN THE FACE!
