Xing who was leaning in the tree crying her heart out, found her sorrows got lifted a bit and she saw some fruits beside her and she heard her stomach grumbling. She didn't remember the last time she ate and so she ate the fruits without minding much and then a jar of milk appeared and Xing drank it without any reservations too.

So the gift that God gave is still valid. The mountain still gives her what she needs and what she wants - the cure for her infertility, is not what she needs according to the Gods apparently!

As her stomach got filled, Xing's mind got clearer too and she started to put the pieces of the puzzle she had learned in the past few days together.

So, she was supposed to be born with a brother who is good with swords and her paternal family should have been eliminated on her birthday. But since her mother hid using a spell, the Gods could not know about her being pregnant and only after Xing was born as they couldn't interfere. Even she was born early and Fei Lian had to bring her to life by marking her over her heart.

So I am important for them. Even though my brother who is supposed to be good at sword doesn't exist, they still needed me because.... Oh, right! My blood...! To kill Old Rong!

But if all they need is my blood, they'd have taken it just like that, why? Wait.... Impossible....

Then she remembered that back when her brother Rijun was targeted by that Fox Demon, her master had saved her and he had used the spell of invisibility, hiding even his presence to help her. Also even the fox clan revered him. So who is this Master Yuan? Even Fei Lian knows him...

Also could it be that her master put that spell to hide her mother too? Xing knew her mother knew nothing about spells and gods and she was slightly against Xing being close to the Gods too. Also if her mother was the one who had put a spell to conceal herself from the gods, they wouldn't have made a deal with her mother the day she was born to save the Huang family. So it definitely was not her mother who used such spells but someone else who had used those spells to hide her from the Gods. Could this be her Master Yuan too?

Xing patted her cheeks that went almost numb by the coldness outside and the various thoughts kind of brought her spirit back. What is all these Mysteries about?

But if master Yuan tried to protect me, why did he treat me that cruelly when I was just a child to teach me sword techniques and he even put a spell on me to forget him and not his training.

Now Xing knew why her master was that hard on her and trained her to be tough and able to do everything a man could do. Her supposed brother's characteristics were belligerent and ambitious and it won't change even when he is born as someone else's son.

During wars, either in the human realm or the heavens, the God of Fate determines the winner or loser. Xing's fate already written ensured the win of the Heavenly Emperor's faction as her brother helped in killing Old Rong and all his acquaintances. But trying to be fair to the humans, the Heavenly Emperor had angered the God of fate and the future might change in a way that is possibly unfavourable to him.

So in order to coax the God of Fate, they are asking her to stay in the Imperial Palace as it was first written in the initial fate. There must be no other reason but this... A silly reason... To please the God of Fate so he would support them still... Even though the God of Marriage had accepted their union!

Xing sighed! Why am I caught in all those messes?

But considering everything that is happening around her, it would be better if she just do what the Gods ask of her. It would be better for her sake, her kingdom's sake and for the Gods too... But...
