While Xing was wandering around in the Netherworld thinking that months have passed, in the human realm only minutes have passed and Shengli called for a doctor.

Physician Meng who was there with Eunuch Xin to have a talk with the Emperor, entered the bed chambers of the Emperor upon the order of the Emperor to check the Noble Consort who was unconscious in the dragon bed.

He saw Shengli and Rijun in there and was surprised but didn't show it in his face. Rijun who had the evidence that this Physician lied kept his cool to see if he comes clean.

Shengli who was angry at Shihong for hurting Xing and more at himself for letting Xing get hurt was looking at the doctor with scrutinising glance and he looked like he would skin him alive if he did one wrong move.

"There's too much blood, why?", he asked in such a cold tone freezing the entire room. Is he the same one who wrongly diagnosed her as pregnant?

The physician didn't bother much with Shengli as he felt it is odd for the Consort's brother and cousin with her at the dead of the night along with the Emperor. No matter how one would look at it, it is weird! For now he has to stick to his previous diagnosis, to keep himself alive.

The physician did some tests and knelt in front of the Emperor,

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty! The Consort has lost her child.. "

Before he could continue on with his condolences Shengli kicked him hard on his back and pressed him on the floor.

"Who lost what?", Shengli's cold voice was heard and the Eunuch was surprised to see the Emperor allowing the adopted son of Huang Feiye act arrogant right in front of him.

"Noble.. AH! "

Before he finished, Shengli had kicked him once again, this time in his stomach.

"Who?", Shengli looked like a beast now. How dare he say some blatant lie about her right in front of him?

"Consort Hu..."

Another kick landed on his abdomen and no one tried to stop Shengli as they were genuinely scared of him. The Eunuch who had survived this long in the palace knew something was really wrong in here and just knelt and kept his presence to the minimum for now. He has a bigger plan.

"Who?", Shengli asked again and the physician didn't know what to say and kept on apologising only to be kicked by Shengli again.

"Miss Huang... ", the physician muttered grabbing hold of his last strength. By now he didn't know how many of his rib bones were broken and he had trouble breathing. If he did not get treated immediately, he'd die. He looked at the Eunuch for help but he was on the floor in a kneeling position and he knew he was screwed.

"Eunuch Xin forced me to lie to the Emperor of the pregnancy of the Nob... Of Miss Huang. Miss Huang is not pregnant", he confessed and tried to beg for leniency to the Emperor.

But before he could speak, numerous punches landed on his face and he fell on the floor dead.

"Bring out another physician... An actual one!", Shengli told the Emperor and turned and leave to sit beside Xing. His knuckles were bleeding and his eyes had a deadly glint. He was hell bent on killing everyone who had hurt her inside this place he had no good feelings about. But he had this small rationality in his brain saying the she needed to be treated first as she is losing blood in a higher rate.

The guards from other places of the palace who had noticed the Emperor's courtyard had come to see the situation and one of them was sent to fetch the head Imperial Physician advised by Rijun.

While the other guards were securing the place and clearing the courtyard, the Emperor asked Eunuch Xin to state his reason to visit him this late and about the accusation by physician Meng. Eunuch Xin saw the dead physician Meng and his heart started beating erratically and he wondered who the beast that even dared to order the Emperor actually is.

Could he be the... Third prince..? Nah! I made sure he was not him from the moment he was adopted in the Huang family by sending people to him baiting him with the information about the burial place of his mother. He refused to acknowledge he is the prince even then. Who would refuse to know the burial place of their mother, right? So he must not be the third prince.

The Eunuch's hate for the Huang family blinded him from seeing the obvious doubting look on the Emperor.

Also he added that Consort Huang visited him today to ask him for abortion drug to conceal the fact that the baby is her lover's and offered to pay him higher price for that drug too but he refused it and so she threatened him saying she'll use her family's influence to accuse him falsely and remove him from the Emperor's side.

The Eunuch didn't stop there and added many complaints about the Huang family and said he had proof too.

While the Eunuch was on a roll about his complaints about the Huang family, Huang Feiye entered the room and greeted the Emperor and the Eunuch was perplexed to see him.

The Emperor who didn't believe a single word from the Eunuch's mouth was hurt by this person whom he thought was actually a well wisher of his. In the end everyone who had been close to him and helped him held a hidden agenda.
