“Tsk!” A light sound indicated an additional gash on White Mitchell's body, with fresh red blood flowing out. He turned pale, but he was in no way affected by his injury, instead, he became more resolute.

“Human, you've reached your limit,” the Miles Tyrant Beast sneered, as it swung its arms forcefully, sending a terrifying wave of energy towards White Mitchell.

White Mitchell felt a twinge in his heart but bravely encountered the surging energy. His longsword started vibrating fiercely, casting out a brilliant light which tore the energy wave apart.

A flicker of surprise crossed the eyes of the Miles Tyrant Beast. It hadn't expected White Mitchell to block its attack. It roared in anger, again dramatically increasing in size for launching a more terrifying attack.

White Mitchell's expression became solemn; he knew that the upcoming battle was going to be even more challenging. His body was suffused with swirling True Qi, cloaked in blazing flames. Clutching the longsword in hand tightly, he bravely charged towards Miles Tyrant Beast.

Their figures crossed paths again and the sounds of sword's light and clashing energy kept echoing on the battlefield. White Mitchell agilely maneuvered around the Miles Tyrant Beast, his sword's light was at times as gentle as flowing water, sometimes as blazing as a fierce fire, and sometimes as sharp as a shocking thunderbolt.

The Miles Tyrant Beast let out a low growl, seemingly understanding the black-robed figure's words, it stopped attacking. Its body trembling, its gaze glaring with ferocity and fury.

The black-robed figure looked down at the Miles Tyrant Beast. He spoke coldly, “Miles Tyrant Beast, your mission has failed. You should know, opposing White Mitchell, is hopeless.”

The Miles Tyrant Beast responded with a deep roar. Its body gradually shrinking, it ultimately transformed into a beam of blue light, disappearing from sight.

The black-robed man turned to look at White Mitchell, a trace of complexity flashing in his eyes. He spoke, “White Mitchell, you're quite powerful. To withstand the onslaught of the Miles Tyrant Beast has already earned my admiration.”

White Mitchell tightly gripped his longsword, watchfully eyeing the black-robed man. He asked, “Who are you? Why did you stop me from slaying the Miles Tyrant Beast?”

The black-robed man slightly smiled, replying, “I'm Zayden, a Ranger. I came here intending to investigate the origins and intent of the Miles Tyrant Beast. I wasn't trying to stop you, I just think this monster has more value alive.”

“Value?” White Mitchell furrowed his brows, “You're implying… there's another threat?”

Zayden nodded, his expression grew more solemn, “Yes, the Miles Tyrant Beast is just the tip of the iceberg. In this domain, there are more formidable enemies.”

A feeling of foreboding surged within White Mitchell. He asked, “What is your plan?”

Zayden took a deep breath, stating, “I hope to join forces with you against these enemies. Only by joining forces do we stand a chance of winning this battle.”

White Mitchell fell silent for a moment, then nodded, “Fine! In that case, let's face these enemies together!”

He shook hands with Zayden, their eyes filled with unwavering resolve. They knew that the battle in this domain had only just begun, and more intense battles were waiting for them ahead.
