Juvenile Entertainer 13 Chapter 13 New Appearance

"Nah this will blow over in a week or so" In theory he isn't wrong but Theodore is really underestimating his own hype.

Closing down his phone he decides to take look at the strong bones reward "System will I suffer some sort of pain like the cultivation novels I've read after accepting this"

[No, so stop being a pussy and just accept it]

He accepted the reward and immediately regretted his decision to listen to the system. He felt his spine compress, stabbing pain crawled it's way through his body and the awful sound of his bones cracking and dislocating, masked his blood cuddling screams.

"AHHHH! YOU!! AHHH..ASSHOLE!!!"

[Oh did I say no, sorry I meant It's excruciating]

after just one minute of pain he passes out on the floor. Theodore was completely unconscious, his body would twitched every now and then.

He eventually woke up, getting up off the floor he stretched out his new iron bones *crack*. Looking at his knuckles he thought of a fictional character in his original world "Go spikes go" nothing happened "it was worth the try"

"Okay, so my are bones stronger then before no additional changes, hmm I kinda feel taller and heavier" he moved his hair out of the way before stopping a and staring at his hair, he directly ran to his mirror

Theodore stood in front of the mirror, he was definitely taller but the reason he ran to the mirror was for something else.

"Shit my hair is completely solid white, I heard that hair can turn white over night after traumatic experience or fall out but it's only been three hours. At least I'm not bald and I look pretty badass with this"

"It's about time I get a haircut, what's the time, 4:10pm better now then never"

Inside a Barbershop, Theodore sat down on a leather chair looking into the mirror then the barber asked "What would you like"

"Can I get a grade 3 back and sides, can you do that parting thing on the left side, just a little off the top and just brush it the side"

"Are you sure mate, your lucky to have soft long hair"

"Yeah it's just take too much work"

"That's a shame"

On his way out he thanked the barber again.

Outside the barber he feels a cold breeze brush against his head 'note too self hair cut only on warm sunny days'

With his new short haircut he stops by at the library. Saying his greetings to the librarian as usual, he walks to the front of the shelves 'what should I read today. . . . I should try getting my science to the same level as my other academic skills what else. . . I should start looking at how to compose music and write music sheets '

Holding a pile books he navigates himself too his spot. His spot is in the back corner or Library, surrounded by tall shelves filled with history books, three desks facing the floor to ceiling windows.

Putting his books on the table 'I didn't bring something to write with and write on, I'll just ask the librarian'

Standing in front of the librarian, he wasn't sure on how to to address her but he saw that her hand didn't have a ring and said "Excuse me Miss"

23year old Megan Hancock has been the librarian here for three years now. She gets about 9 too 10 people a day, she doesn't have many regulars but it's not her fault.

It's the 21st century where everything you want to know is only click away. She works here because she's loves too read and books provide a personal feeling that screen don't give.

Even though she doesn't get many regulars, there has been one weird character who comes in at 4ish and stays still 8.

He looked frightening and every day he seems to change, not just cloths wise but physically. On the first day he looked like he escaped from a horror move, hunched over black long hair that partially covers his face, she was really scared but she still managed to put on a fake smile too greet him.

On the second day he looked taller and slightly more healthy. On the third day he looked a lot better and she didn't see him the next day.

Megan would also secretly follow him too make sure he wasn't burning down the place. she saw him take 30 minutes to read a book and move on to the next one. She watched him follow a how to draw booklet to it's best.

In the end she came to the conclusion that he wasn't a problem and that he was just another customer.

Today she heard the same person greeting her but she was way too into her book and without looking just nodded.

An hour passed, she was fully absorbed into the book she was reading, when she heard the same voice again "Excuse me Miss" 'god it was just to the getting good part'

Raising her head, her eyes met with feline like eyes 'Gold! no amber eyes'

after admiring his eyes, she began to visually scan his body 'Tall, pale white skin and white hair. It's like he jumped out of a fantasy book'

"Umm Excuse me Miss"

Megan quickly snapped back to reality and in flustered manner she replied "ah yes hello, how can i help you Mr .."

"Theo is fine, do you by chance have any spare paper I can use please"

"I should have some lying around here" rummage through her draws and stacks of book "ah here it is, do you need a pen?"

"no Thank you, I have a pen"

Theodore remembered that he had a pen as reward from his task and took the opportunity to check what it dose.

Picking up a Biology, chemistry and physics books that he found he thought about how he should go back to the basics.

He then looked at the pen was still in his system 'I did not think this through, is the library really the place to test a reward... fuck it what ever happens, happens'

Prepping himself he accepted the reward and instinctively closed his eyes to hear *tink* the sound of a metal object falling on the desk.

Opening his eyes, he stood up and looked at it from different angles without touching it. What he saw was a ordinary metal cherry red and silver pen with a lid.

After observing it he cautiously approach is it, sitting back down on his chair he picks it up. Once he came in contact with the pen he heard the system notification go off.

*Ding* []

*Beep* [3]

"Wait, at least tell me...

*Beep* [2]

"how too prepare"

*Beep* [1]

When the count down hit one, he felt his body go limp, his muscles shut down and his body speedily fell forwards facing the desk.

Whilst falling, Theodore saw the hard wood table come in view 'Well this is gonna hurt' with that thought he accepted the inevitable pain he was about to experience.

His head came crashing down onto the table with a huge *DONK* his head bounced and made another *donk* but slightly quieter than the first one.

Megan was secretly watching Theodore from behind a book shelf. She was surprised when she saw Theodore suddenly become limp, then she heard and saw Theodore's head connect with the table too make a loud thundering noise.

She reacted quickly and came out of hiding too see if he's okay. Tapping Theodore on the shoulder "Theo are you okay"

she's confident that he's not dead but seeing as Theodore's not responding she decides to check.

She gently placed two fingers on Theodore's wrist 'thank goodness he's not dead I should call for ambulance'
