Just Mine Chapter 172

Jenna and Femi sat at the cafeteria in Jaydite after lectures . Femi played with his food as he talked about the upcoming event in school . Jenna has refused to come home since the incident with Sky at home . Sky had begged Femi to drag her out of the school environment and bring her to the company . She wanted to know how she was doing .

Sky smiled as she watched the two of them laugh as she walked up to them . Bones was walking close to her than usual, Sky knew they were instructions from Anton so she didn't say anything .

"Hey Commando, I haven't seen you since the boss's party . How are you?" Femi stood up as he sighted the two of them, he smiled brightly at Bones . The man is his role model .

Bones smiled briefly at the kid and sat down next to the boss .

"Thank you for bringing her out Femi . Jenna, mom is worried about you . You know you can go to class from home . And you missed Sunday dinner with the family, is everything alright?" Sky asked as she took Jenna's hand in hers .

"I'm fine sist, I had a lot of assignments so I couldn't go out . How's my sweetpea doing?" Jenna asked as she touched Sky's baby bump .

"We are great Jen . We are getting ready for the big party . The doctor said we need exercise now more than ever . So we walk round the estate every morning and evening . "

Jenna smiled as she looked at Sky . "Oh the party . I need to talk to Anton and Kira, Bones you'll be coming too so get ready . Can I wear that white fitted dress of yours Ms Sky?" Jenna asked as she put on her best smile .

"You all don't need to come . I need to do this alone, if i can't face the world now and defend myself, how will i defend sweetpea when he/she is born? Besides I'm sure you all will be busy with something . Bones can drop me off, I'll call him when it's over . "

"You don't need to face anything alone sist, that's why you have us . We'll always be there sist . " Jenna said as she tapped her sister om the shoulder .

"Me too ma'am, remember you are my only family here . Where you go, I go . And besides I don't have anything doing December 2nd" Femi said raising his hands .

"That's very sweet of you but I need to do this alone . . . . " Jenna's loud ringtone interrupted Sky, she stopped talking as Jenna picked the call .

Jenna has been waiting for Aidenn's call, she had tried to reach him with the number he gave her before he left but nothing . It's been a week since he left and nothing . Maybe sister Mena was right . She didn't pay attention to the caller and just picked the call and excused herself .

Sky saw the number and knew it was an international number . She smiled as she saw it . She watched Jenna walk away from them . She decided to ask Femi how he was doing in school and if his aunt calls him .

Femi was ranting about karate class when Jenna walked silently to them . "It's him sist, he just called and he apologized for not calling, he also sent a message to you . He said he'll take the job . That means he's planning on moving back sist . " Jenna said jumping and smiling .

"Hey calm down . I'm happy for you but you should know I'm the boss here . lower your voice . " Sky caught her hand and pulled her down . "At least now you can go home . " Sky smiled as she saw Bones reply a message smiling on his phone . It must be Chiamanda . She has noticed the change in him since the trip and she was glad she sent him instead of Stone . The young man looks happier now that he's dating Chiamanda .

A MONTH LATER .

Dwayne stood at the airport smiling . He decided to come home early, he is suppose to be back next week but since Anton told him Ms Sky clocked nine month two days ago . He rounded everything up and ran back home .

He wanted to go see his mom but first he had to see Ms Sky . Anton had told him she had gotten really big that even her nose was swollen . He plans on seeing Soma after he sees his mom, that's after he sees Ms Sky . He had told Anton not to tell Ms Sky about his return . So Anton told him where to find the key so they could surprise Sky . What he wasn't expecting was Soma at the airport .

He froze as he heard his name . He can recognize that voice anywhere . He smiled as he sighted her among the crowd . She ran up to him and hugged him tight .

"I missed you so much Dwayne . I'm glad you are back . " Soma said smiling and crying at the same time .

"I missed you too Soma" Dwayne said smiling as he hugged her back . They stood there for some time before he pulled out of the hug . He didn't know he could miss her this much . This trip has made him realize a lot of things and one is that he is in love with Soma . They linked hands and walked out of the airport .

Sky smiled as she watched her drunk friend, Anton . Kira had already dozed off with her head on Anton's lap, while Anton was barely holding on .

"I really don't know what we are celebrating Anton," Sky said as she sipped her juice .

"It's . . . urrrrmmm about the admission . Remember? Kira got admitted into the university . " Anton said clapping .

"Wow that's nice, but you haven't mentioned it before . I thought the admission list is suppose to come out tomorrow . Well congrats AnKee( Combination of Anton and Kira) . " Sky said smiling . She noticed the way Anton was looking at the floor as if he was falling, then she thought of something .

"Now I know why you don't drink much Anton . I want to tell you something . I'm not sure I can tell you when you are sober so I'll just tell you now . " Sky kept her drink on the table and took a deep breath .

Dwayne walked on his toes as he sneaked into the house . He heard the soft music and Ms Sky's voice from the living room, he walked towards the direction . He was about to walk in when he heard what Ms Sky said . He froze, he couldn't believe what he was hearing .

"What! why didn't you tell me Sky . Why did you keep such secret from your best friend?" Anton said screaming .

"Hey calm down I'm sorry . I didn't want you to cause any trouble that's why I didn't say anything . Please promise me you won't do anything . " Sky wanted to make him swear but he was already asleep before she could finish her sentence .

Dwayne drove like a maniac as he dialled a number and put his phone on speaker . "Bones I need your help, please I need you to help me with an address, please don't tell Ms Sky about it . "

After driving for thirty minutes . Dwayne couldn't find who he was looking for . Exhausted, he parked his car at the front of his mom's newly refurbished restaurant . The place was booming with people .

Mrs Hembadoom saw someone like her son in the crowd but she didn't believe it . She wasn't ready to meet him yet, she had asked the young boss lady to give her the chance to tell him about his father . Ms Sky had promised she'll send Dwayne to her the moment his plane lands the Capital . But it can't be him . He's suppose to be back next week . Mrs Hembadoom walked to her office as she thought of how she was going to tell her son the news .

Dwayne sighted his mom and ran up to her . "Mom" he called out but she couldn't hear him because of the music . He ran up to her and caught her at the door of her office .

"Surprise!" He said weakly to his mom . He expected her to be all excited but instead his mom froze as she saw him .

Dwayne, you are not suppose to be here till next week, did something happen? Have you seen your boss?" The woman asked with shaky voice .

"Not really . Nothing happened mom, I just missed all of you . " Dwayne said, hugging his mom .

"Oh! alright, now come let's go to the restaurant . You need to eat so you can tell me about your trip, I have something to say to you too . " Mrs Hembadoom took her son hands and was about leading him to the restaurant when he stopped her .

"Mom I had dinner with Soma, what is it you want to talk to me about?"

"Come in son, let's hear about your trip first . "

Mrs Hembadoom sighed . Well she'll have to tell him now before he founds out from someone else . She closed the door to her office as Dwayne sat down on the chair .
