Anton's father got into so much debt that he had to borrow money to keep the business going, he didn't tell his wife. He started drinking and became a drunk. Anton's mom had a weak heart and she couldn't bear the whole thing, when she found out that they were in debt and might loose the business that has been in her family for years, she passed out. Anton was sad then when he's mother's sister came to move his mom away from China to America where she lived, she was a doctor and said she could take care of her better. He hated his mom for leaving him behind, but then again, the woman was so weak and couldn't do a thing, his father watched as his mother was taken away, he was dead drunk on the floor and couldn't do a thing.

After growing up, Anton realised that, living was the best thing his mother ever did, she would have died, if she had stayed with them. Even after moving her to America, her situation became critical and she was in comma for six months.

Two months later, Anton found out that, His dad's best friend Kira's father had introduced him to a loan shark and he had borrowed money from them, they were the most dangerous in the city and will do anything to get their money back.

He noticed how the same men in black suit, come almost everyday and chased their customers out, and beat the hell out of his father, asking for their money. He was just a boy and couldn't do anything then, he was 13 years old. They were days his father won't return. At times Anton would run away from the house and his father would not even notice.

He and Kira use to meet in an abandoned building, they made that place their safe haven and would always stay there whenever they needed to stay away from home. Kira didn't have a mom, so she was raised by her dad, he was also in debt, he ran away from the house living Kira alone, Kira turned the abandoned building into her home and would only go home for food or only ate when Anton brought food for her.

They promised to always be together and get married when they grew up. One fateful day, while they were in their hide out playing, something caught Kira's attention that made them leave.They both left their hiding place when Kira saw smoke coming from the direction of her house. They both rn there and found out that the gangsters finally found Kira's dad and brought him home and set the house on fire.

Anton watched them hit the poor man while he was holding Kira back from running to her father. But when he remembered his dad, he left Kira and ran home, promising to return.

Anton found some of the men in their house and they were about to stab his dad after beating him until he passed out. Anton ran to cover his dad when the knife cut him in the hand, he fought them off with all his might but his effort was useless, they dragged him on the floor as they headed to Kira's place, they said they were going to end the misery of the two families today.

Mr Jayden was coming back from his Favourite restaurant in the streets of China, when he saw smoke coming from one of the houses, he called the fire service and ordered his chauffer to take him there, On his way there, he saw some thugs dragging a little boy on the ground and beating him mercilessly as he struggled, he instructed his men and they were able to rescue the boy and his father, he settled the man's debt and bought the restaurant back from the gangster.

The little boy had lost consciousness on the way to the hospital, the second person he asked of when he woke up was Kira, Mr Jayden had no choice but to take the boy back to his neighbourhood. He found out that the girls father had died in the fire before the fire fighters arrived and that the girl was taken away by the gangsters. He watched the boy break down, he tried his best to get the girl back but couldn't, the leader of the gang was an underground Lord, Mr Jayden was about to make a deal with him to release the girl to him when he got a call that his mother had collapsed in her office back home, he ordered the boys to wrap things up in China as he ran to America with the little boy. Mr Jayden didn't have power in the underground then.

The leader of the gang had refused to sign the deal with Mr Jayden's men and asked for some of the shares of his company and a huge amount. They had to return to America without the girl...failing their boss.

Years later, Anton later found Kira in a strippers club, when he tried to talk to her, she ignored him and pretended not to know him, he followed her for days and found out where she was staying. She begged him to leave that he was going to get her into trouble, She called him all kinds of names, saying she hated him and that he left her behind. That was the last time he's had a conversation with her, he sometimes visit the club but stay hidden so she won't see him.

Mr Jayden raised him up as his son, and made him second in command in all of the branches, he worked with Mr Jayden as they revived his father's company, together with the help of his dad, his father changed and became reserved. He moved to the state to get his wife back but they ended up divorcing.

He owe Mr Jayden his life, even when Mr Jayden had ordered him to move to Nigeria and help him with a project, he abandoned everything and came without thinking. How can a man with a heart of gold, a good man die just like that, Mr Jayden died of cancer, and since his death, there's been a hole in Anton's heart that nobody can fill, Sky reminds him of Mr J. and always made him feel comfortable. He made a promise to Mr Jayden and he was going to keep that promise, no matter what.
