"This is why I don't allow you spend the night here. You know the nurse is here right? You don't have to check on her all the time." Mrs Onome placed her hand on her daughters shoulder. She looked at Sky's hands in Jenna's and smiled bitterly.

"I know Mom, I just don't want to miss her waking up or if she moves her fingers or something." looking down, Jenna avoided her mother's face.

"Jenna ...." Mrs Onome called out. She tried to control the tears that was almost out...she couldn't bear to see her daughters like this.

Jenna couldn't hold it in anymore. She released her breath and let the tears fall. " It's been two weeks mom, yet no improvement. I have been hoping mom but I am tired. All she does is lay here lifeless." Jenna said in a shaky hand as she squeezed the hand she was holding. "Sister Mena please wake up, I beg you. I'm going crazy sist. I don't know what i'll do if you don't wake up."

Jenna stood up immediately, startling her mom. She bent down and held Sky by the shoulder and started shaking her. " If you are in there please show me a sign. Please just let me know it's going to be alright." Jenna said as she weeped bitterly.

Startled, Mrs Onome quickly hugged her last child from behind and dragged her out of the room. " Jenna! Jenna! calm down. I know how you feel but you will only end up hurting yourself and Mena. She'll wake soon dear...we just have to keep praying and hoping."

Mrs Onome carried her weeping daughter out of the room, she didn't want to wake the babies so she signalled the nurse who was in the nursery, letting her know she was stepping out for a bit.

After thirty minutes of receiving fresh air. Jenna felt better. She washed her face and her teeth and went back to the nursery to meet her mom and the babies.

Mrs Onome and Jenna were feeding the twins around 7:00am when they heard noise coming from outside. It sounded like a bunch of people running. She exchanged questioning look with her daughter but Jenna shrugged. Curious, Jenna dropped the food and stood up with the Sky junior in her arms, she was almost at the door when her mother stopped her.

"Jenna, hold on. It seems like they are coming this way. Don't go close to the door." Mrs Onome was about to phone Doctor Titi when the door opened.

"I won..." Chiamanda said smiling and panting. She put her hands on her knees for support.

Dwayne and Anton came in next with Kira and Mavis.

"Woh! we really are going to get chased out of the hospital. Why are you all running and why are you here so early?" Jenna asked surprised.

Before she could ask another question. Brianna, Jim, Tega, Femi, Zino and Bones walked into the room.

"How can a girl run that fast, especially on those shoes Chiamanda, are you on drugs?" Anton said panting as he entered with Kira.

"That's cause she's my woman" Bones said in a calm voice.

Everyone couldn't believe their eyes, so they all turned to look at Bones who turned red immediately.

Seeing that the kids were quiet, Mrs Onome used the opportunity to speak. " Alright now I need you all to keep it down. Remember this is a hospital, we don't want to scare anyone to death. And why are you all here together? Did something happen?"

"Nothing, Mrs Victoria. We met at the hospital entrance so we took the elevator and came up here. We are just visiting." Femi said, scratching his head.

The rest of the group looked away, avoiding Mrs Onome's eyes. Mrs Onome cleared her throat to get everyone's attention.

"Well ma'am, the thing is since we heard that Mr Neto finally spoke to the boss, we decided to come see if she's awake." Chiamanda said smiling wryly.

"Mom you know how it is in the movies." Jim said as he walked up to his mom, took her shoulder and led her away from the group. "When the coma patient finally hears from the person she wants too, then she or he will wake up. We just want to know how she is."

Mrs Onome shook her head after her son finished explaining everything to her. "Well you see, this isn't a movie. You can see her but you can't go in together. Let's divide the group into three, so pick your partners."

Mrs Onome paused as she watched the kids pick their partners. Then she continued " I know you all want her to wake up. She will, so please don't loose faith." Mrs Onome handed the baby to Brianna and carried her grandson Tega who was lying in his father's arms quietly. The boy was too quiet for her liking, it's unlike her grandson. "Hey little man. How are you doing?" She placed a small kiss on his cheek.

It was around noon by the time everyone left leaving Brianna, Tega, Mrs Onome and Aidenn in Sky's room.

"Grams is auntey Mena sleeping?" Tega asked for the hundredth times as he sat on his grandma's leg.

"Yes she is dearie" Aidenn answered the little boy smiling.

"Can I wake her?" He asked again

"No love, aunty is tired. Let's allow her rest" Brianna said to her son.

"Owkay but I want to talk to her" He said with his eyes fixated on Sky's body.

"Ok how about this son. Let's go out for a bit and get ice cream" Mrs Brianna tried to stand up but Tega pushed her down.

"Noooooo she's nor sleeping." The little boy yelled as he came down from his grandma's leg. "Her hand is saking."

"What did he say" Aidenn asked...trying to understand the little boys language.

"He said her hand is shaking." Brianna said, watching Sky's hand.

The room went quite immediately as everyone focused on Sky's fingers.

Brianna couldn't believe her eyes as she watched Sky's fingers. "Mooom.......mom...mom, did you see that mom? Mena just moved"

Frozen in place, Mrs Onome could only nod her head as she watched her daughters fingers twitch again.

Aidenn quickly checked the EKG machine and the other equipment and scribbled somethings down.

"This is a good thing right, it means she's going to wake up soon right" Brianna asked in a shaky voice.

"Yeah it's a good thing Mrs Bree....it shows she's improving. last we checked, it seems like she was dreaming. We were afraid she'd go into a vegetative state. We'll need to carry out some test to check her brain activity, that will tell us if she'll wake soon." Aidenn pressed the button beside Sky's bed and five minutes later, a nurse came in with the EEG machine and two other doctors.

Mrs Onome and Brianna waited patiently while the doctors carried out the test. They were both quiet, lost in thought. While Tega stood on his toes watching the babies.

Mrs Angela knocked softly on the door. She didn't want to wake the babies, she had brought food for her friend and wanted to see how her grandbabies were doing plus it was her turn to watch the babies with Mrs Onome.

She opened the door slowly and entered the room. "Victoria must be asleep" She thought to herself. The whole place was quiet. As she walked inside the room, she was surprised to see her friend and Brianna sitting close to the babies bed. "Victoria?" She called out, she didn't like the look on either of their faces. She feared for the worst.

"Is everything ok, is Mena alright?"

Brianna and her mom both looked towards the direction of the door as they heard someone talking.

"Oh Angela, you are here. Everything is alright. We are just tired. The doctors are in the other room running some test, Mena is fine. We are just waiting for the results." Mrs Onome said, not taking her eyes off the door that leads to Sky's room.

"Oh thank God. I brought food for you, i brought your favourite. Amala with ewedu, gbegiri and stew." Mrs Angela had hoped this would put a smile on her friends face, and it did. She smiled brightly as she handed the bag to her.

"Thank you Angela. Your son was just here, he left in a hurry....said he had something important to do. I'm just glad he no longer stays in here all day."

"Yeah me too. I noticed the change in him yesterday....i wonder what changed." Mrs Angela was worried for her son but when her daughter told her that she spotted Neto outside the hospital, she was happy.

"I went to see Mr Greyson. He must have spoken to him because yesterday your son finally talked to my sister." Brianna said as she carried her son who was sleeping while standing watching the babies.

"Oh that's nice. Thanks Bree. You should go home and take care of your daughter plus Tega looks tired. I'll stay till tomorrow." Mrs Victoria said as she typed something on her phone.

"Thanks ma'am. I'll leave but I want to wait for the doctors."
