Just Mine 164 Mr Jayden

Aidenn thought of every answer possible to his question until it dawned on him. They look alike and loved each other dearly. There could only be one explanation.

As they got to the apartment. Jenna took Aidenn's hand and led him to her place.

"Addy?" He called out to her. As he sat on the sofa, she sat on the floor just opposite him.

"There's something I need to tell you Aidenn, I hope you can forgive me. You have your secret and I have mine also. You have to know that Ms Sky is a good person. Whatever she does, she does for a reason. I don't want you to be mad at her ever ...you can pour it all on me."

Jenna reached for her handbag, brought out her face wipe and wiped the makeup off her face. She used alot of wipes.

Aidenn watched her as she wiped her face. He has never seen her without makeup, even when she was sick, she managed to put them on. He wanted to see the woman behind the mask. Was she hiding a scar or something?

Jenna looked down as she finished wiping her face. "She really hope he'll forgive her and that they can continue being good friends."

She sighed as she looked up at him. "Look closely Aidenn, what do you see or who do you see?"

Aidenn gasped as he saw her face. Today at Ms Sky's place, Ms Sky wasn't wearing any make up and that's the face he is seeing right now. He suspected it but he still can't believe it. "Addy what's going on?"

"That's not my name Aidenn. I'm Jenna Nathaniel. I'm Ms Sky's sister, I'm the last girl and the last child of my mom, Mrs Onome Victoria Nathaniel. I wanted to tell you before we went to my sister's house.

When she found out about you, she was worried for the company. There's no telling what Mrs Rose can do. She wanted to make sure someone was watching you, someone who could find out the truth. Someone she could trust. I'm sure you know the rest."

Jenna paused before she continued. "At first I didn't like you cause you were against my sister but then when I got close i realised you weren't all that bad. I tried to talk you out of your deal with Mrs Rose because i knew Sist Mena would help you if she finds out about your situation and if you go to her first. I will be leaving soon. I just wanted to apologise. All my time with you was real Aidenn, I never faked it. Please forgive me..."

Aidenn didn't allow her finish her last sentence as he kissed her hard on the lip.

Jenna wasn't expecting the kiss, she froze at first. Then a tear fell down her face as she kissed him back.

Aidenn broke the kiss and pulled back. He wiped the tears off her face. "You are beautiful Jenna and I prefer you without makeup. It crossed my mind but I was so busy with myself that I didn't have the time to consider it. I'm mad at you Addy, sorry Jenna. Fuck! I'm so use to the name. Well like you said we both have our secret. I understand why your sister did it but I don't know why I'm mad at you. I guess I expected more."

He stood up. "I need some time Jenna. Let's give this sometime, I mean we acted base on what we were told to do, in my case, I didn't trust you, I also wanted to use you to get to Ms Sky but you refused to have sex with me. Let's just wait and see how this turns out. " With that he turned to leave.

Jenna stayed rooted at the spot Aidenn left her. " So typical of you Troy. You were given a mission and you fell for the enemy." She brought out her phone and texted her sister, She told her she needed some time alone tonight. So she would return home tomorrow.

As Aidenn switched on the light in his room, he's phone rang. It was an unknown number. He hesitated for a while before he picked the call. "Hello. Who's on the line please?"

"Aidenn it's Ms Sky. I'm sure Jenna must have told you everything, I don't want you to be mad at her, I made her do it. I'll be glad if she doesn't find out about this conversation. Goodnight."

Aidenn shook his head as she ended the call, she didn't even give him the time to talk. The woman sounded like a fucking robot, she really is a boss lady. The sisters are something else, each taking the blame. He loved their relationship.

Sky couldn't sleep for long. After waking up, she called her mom before she received Jenna's message, then she phoned Aidenn. After she ended the call, she walked to her dresser and picked up the recorder. She couldn't wait anymore, she took a deep breath and press the play button.

She smiled as she heard Me Jay's sweet baritone voice.

"Hello Meemee. I hope my jewel is doing ok. I'm sorry dear but if you are listening to this, it's means I'm no longer with you in this world. I'm sorry I put alot of load on your shoulder dearie. It won't be easy, that's why I put people like Anton and Charlie with you. Don't trust anyone not even Mr Jide."

Sky laughed and cried at the same time as she listed to him. She pressed the pause button. "Now you tell me about Mr Jide....you should have told me about it from the start Mr Jay."

She played the recording but this time she didn't hear anything. She thought it was over until she heard him clear his throat.

" I really wish you are my daughter Sky, I'm blessed to have met you. I'm sad that I didn't meet you on time. No matter what people say, you are my daughter Mena and you know that. I know you must know about Dwayne by now. I really want you to be my daughter legally that's why I am pushing you and Dwayne together. I want you to teach him to have a heart like yours."

"Palmera was my sweetheart in school. She was a freshman when I met her while I was in my third year. I didn't know she was pregnant, she even dropped out of school because of the pregnancy. I had to leave the country to live with my mom in the state since my parents weren't together, I had to go stay with my mom. During the period of my stay, she made me take other courses and guided me towards the right part.

By the time I returned to the country to open Jaydite, it was too late. I couldn't find Palmera anywhere. Apparently she started using her middle name "Hembadoom" My parent were on my neck for me to start the company here in Nigeria so I gave up on the search for her."

"On one fateful day I ran into an old friend who told me about Palmera but when I went to see her, she was mad at me. She chased me away and told me she didn't want to have anything to do with me. I couldn't imagine the kind of suffering she must have gone through because of me. So I left her alone and watched from the sidelines. When Dwayne left her, I made sure he got employed at every company he applied for.

When I realised the lad was following my footstep, I quickly employed him in Jaydite. And he was no where ready to run the company. It was too late for me to be in his life but I tried to spend time with him and gave him some few words of advice. I want you both to run the company Sky, together with strong headed Anton, I really don't know why my Asian son isn't interested in being CEO. But Sky Dwayne isn't ready. You and Anton have to train him and send him to study more. Only when you know he's truly ready, should you give him the company, but Sky the deal is that both of you run the company. I'm sorry I'm selfish little Mena, but I don't think there's a better bride for my son than you."

"I love you Sky and I hope one day it will be Sky Keffas. Please don't let my name die with me. Make sure Dwayne bears my name. Once again my dear I'm sorry. Be strong. I know you'll do good. You are a smart child."

As the recording ended. Sky couldn't hold the tears anymore. "I'm sorry Mr Jay" She said as she cried her heart out.
