Just Mine 150 Pawn

At first Jenna Froze, not responding to the kiss. "What the heck?" she thought. The guy was a crazy maniac. One minute, he looks like a wolf in the full moon who's about to change, and the other minute, he has those puppy cute eyes. She melted into the kiss as she felt his grip loosen. She ran her hand through his hair and kissed him back.

He squeezed her breast through her top. As he reached the hem of her top to take it off, Jenna stopped him. "Aidenn?" she said, pulling her lips from his. "I'm scared. I want to go home."

Aidenn couldn't understand why she was holding back. She just kissed him back just now and now she wants to leave?

" I'm sorry I reacted that way. You are right, you can look around. I just get territorial sometimes. Please Adrianna, don't say that again, I won't and can't hurt you." He released her and moved away from her. ..he went to his wardrobe to look for what to wear.

"I'll let you dress. Once again I'm sorry for overstepping my boundary, it won't happen again" Jenna said and turned to leave.

Jenna was almost at the door when Aidenn rushed forward and used his body to block the door. "Don't go Addy, please stay."

"I don't know Aidenn, you confuse me... sometimes you are warm and other times you are scary. Maybe we should give each other space. I'm trying to lead a good life, I've done alot of things in the past and for the first time in my life, I wanna do the right thing. I don't need someone who's going to complicate my life more". Jenna said, avoiding his eyes.

"There's a reason why I'm like this Addy, please come sit down...I'll tell you everything. Just don't go please." He took her hand in his and led her to the living room.

"After my internship, the hospital employed me. I was a great doctor and everyone loved me. So I thought. My mom died during my internship at the hospital. I was devastated, I almost stopped the program but Karen didn't allow me. After she died, I never went home. I left immediately after the funeral ....me and Karen stayed in a hotel that day. I didn't go home, I only went there to lock the place."

"I met Karen during my internship. Her dad was among the richest men in the country. He funded most of the hospital projects and also controls the government. Karen was always coming to the hospital. I later found out she was born weak and that she always come to the hospital every month for checkup. Along the line, the doctors found a tumor in her brain. Now her dad threatened to stop funding the hospital if they don't save his daughter"

"I spoke to the director then and told him it would be dangerous to operate on her cause of her condition. I started searching for a surgeon who could operate on her, I attended conferences and travelled to almost anywhere."

"The director decided to do the surgery but with a method that only genius doctors used, I know this procedure has only been done in labs and on lap rats but the director said he and his crew had done it in one of the war regions during an emergency, when an important personel almost died."

"I tried my best to stop him from operating on her but I was just a fresh doctor, a broke one at that. No one listened to me. I tried to talk Karen out of it but she refused to listen to me. I think she was tired of bring sick" He said, looking down.

"I had no idea that Karen had transferred all her asset to me in case anything happened to her" She secretly put it in my room. They kept the operation date hidden from me but I found out eventually and I joined them but i mostly watched."

"As I feared, something went wrong during the operation, the director froze and I had to take over, I tried everything I could to save her but she died right there in my arms."

"In a year, I lost the most important people in my life. I was still in the hospital mourning when the police came and took me away. The director put everything on me, that I made him do the operation cause I wanted Karen to die so I could take over everything. He said I had something on him, that even after he warned me, I still persisted. The documents in my apartment concluded everything and i was locked away for a month while my lawyer and best friend fought in the court for me."

Aidenn laughed hysterically before he continued. "I don't know what happened but Karen's dad dropped all charges, I was free but my license was revoked and my image destroyed. The director blacklisted me as a doctor. Months later, Mrs Rose found me passed out on the street, I was dead drunk. She told me everything and here I am."

Jenna took his hand in hers. "I'm sorry Aidenn, I had no idea"

"It's fine. I'm alright. I don't want to fight with your friend. I don't even want my name on the papers...it's going to open old wound. I've been preventing Mrs Rose from going to the press. I just want to settle this amicably."

"I'm sorry for everything you've been through Aidenn. But let me ask you a question ....what do you want Mrs Sky to do? Just hand everything over to a stranger who isn't even sure Mr Jayden is his father?"

"He's my father!" Aidenn said, controlling his temper.

"Did you ever contact Mr Jayden when he was alive, did your mom confirm it? If he's really your dad, why wait all these years, why now, why wait for Mrs Rose to bring you here? I know I'm not that wise but I know how kids try to know who their parent is, especially when they know that parent is alive."

"My mother didn't want to have anything to do with him, she always cried herself to sleep with his picture in her arms. He must have hurt her badly. She tried all her best to hide it. I eventually found out and Mrs Rose confirmed it."

"Mrs Rose isn't a good person Aidenn, you are just a pawn in all this, once she gets what she wants she'll toss you away, and it won't be that difficult with your ruined reputation. Think Aidenn, don't start a battle you can't finish. Why not talk to Ms Sky so she can help you find out the truth, she's a good person."

"I don't need your advice Adrianna, and it's obvious whose side you are on. Mr Jayden is my dad and I'm going to get what is rightfully mine. Aidenn said standing up."

"Well I only said all those things cause I care. Thanks for taking care of me today Aidenn, I'm really grateful. It's obvious I'm beginning to annoy you, so I'll kindly take my leave now. Goodnight Aidenn." Jenna stood on her toes and kissed him on the cheek.

Aidenn wanted to tell her to stay but he was mad at her, she had just voiced out his fears and it hurts him to know she wasn't on his side. He followed her to the door. The moment she left, he punched the wall hard. "Darn it"
