Just Mine 147 Mother hen

"I've been very nice stranger, I just told you you've got the wrong person and yet you still insist. I advice you go your way Mister or i'll call the security and we might even take this to court, you could be a stalker for all I know. For Pete sake you are harassing me" Jenna said with a frown.

Both men turned to look at her as she spoke. The stranger was surprised while Aidenn looked at her with pride.

"Alright fine, I'll let you go today." The strange man said, backing away.

"I'm sorry about that Aidenn. Now let's hurry, the moving is almost starting" Jenna said, forgetting what just happened.

Twenty minutes into the movie, Jenna tried to control her emotions as they watched the movie, but she couldn't help the tears that came down her face.

Aidenn who has been watching her the whole time, froze as he saw her crying. She hasn't said a word to him since the movie started, all her attention was on the big screen. Even when he moved closer and put his hands behind her, she didn't notice. Now her head was resting on his shoulder.

He used his handkerchief to wipe the tears off her face...but as he tried to wipe the other side of her face, where she had her mole...she stiffened and caught his hand.

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't help it, I get really emotional sometimes" she said laughing and crying at the same time.

"I understand" Aidenn said as he pretended to watch the movie. If she was sent by the CEO, she would have asked him personal questions and even tried to get into his apartment just to check things out but she hasn't done any of that. He likes the way her mood changes and how she can be childish sometimes and real matured sometimes. He smiled as he thought to himself.

Sky had told Jenna the previous night, not to come to work the next day being Monday. That she could use it to get closer to Aidenn. She was in the office with Dwayne and Anton as they discussed the development on the newly acquired company.

Dwayne is suppose to leave the country before the week runs out so they were also planning that.

She dialled her sisters number again but still no answer. Yeah Jenna can be irresponsible sometimes but she never ignore her calls. She's been trying to reach her since she got to the office but still no answer.

Anton noticed the look in Sky's eyes and stopped working on his laptop. "Sky, is everything alright? "

"It's Jenna. I haven't been able to reach her since morning and it's already 10:00am...she's supposed to have called back. I'm worried"

"Ok. I can ask Stone to check on her if you want but I'm sure she's alright" Anton put on his tracker on his phone to track Jenna's phone and it showed she was in her apartment.

"I have a meeting not too far from the apartment, maybe i'll stop by before I go. You two should finish up here, I'll have Chiamanda join you" Sky said standing up.

"How about I go Ms Sky? I don't think it's a good idea to go there, cause of Aidenn. We've met before so he won't suspect if I go" Dwayne said standing up.

"Don't bother yourself Dwayne, there's nothing you or I can say to her that'll make her change her mind. You see that look in her face? that's her mother hen look, her instinct is telling her something so just let her go. Plus she's always like that with family." Anton said as he texted Bones to get the car ready, so he can take the boss out.

"Thanks Dwayne. Don't worry I know what to do if I run into Aidenn" Sky said as she grabbed her bag and walked towards the door.

"Ouuuch" she cried out loud as she held the door for support. Before she could say anything, Anton and Dwayne were already by her side.

"Ma'am are you ok? " Dwayne asked as he held her left hand.

"What is it Sky?" Anton used one hand to support her and held her right hand with his other hand"

"It's my waist and my right leg. It's stiff again and it hurts. You know how I couldn't walk well during the early stage of my pregnancy? I think it's happening again...maybe I sat down for too long" Sky said with pain in her voice.

"Maybe you should sit" They both said in unison as they tried to move her.

"Nooooooooooooooooooo please don't. Just let me stay like this for a while...it'll pass"

They both exchange looks as she breath in and out " How about I go check on Jenna, you just relax" Anton tried again.

"Hold on, I think I can move now. Sky said as she moved her left leg and put both arms on her waist, and moved her right leg. Much better. Don't worry guys, I'll be fine" She opened the door and took slow steps out.

They both stood at the door as they watched her walk to the elevator in a very funny way...she looked like she was going into labour. Anton brought out his phone to call Mrs Onome.

Chiamanda rushed to her boss as she saw her walking strangely. "Ma'am are you alright, do you need me to go with you?"

"You all worry too much. You pamper me too much, this is normal for pregnant women so don't worry, just go join the boys inside"

"Yes ma'am" Chiamanda said with a worried look on her face.

Bones had received a text from Anton that he shouldn't leave the boss's side. So when they got to the apartment, and the boss asked him to wait in the car, he refused. He noticed she was walking better and helped her with her bag.

As they got into the elevator. Aidenn rushed in with a bag in his hand. Sky wasn't expecting to see him in the elevator, so she looked down and pretended not to see him.

Bones shifted and used his big frame to cover that of his boss as the young man entered the elevator. He nod his head to greet the young man.

Aidenn wondered what the big man was going to do in their floor. Maybe he was going to see Adrianna. He tried to get a look at the lady behind the big man but the moment he got in, the big man used his big frame to cover her. Maybe it's Adrianna's mom. She did say she was from a rich family and maybe the big guy is the mom's bodyguard.

As they arrived at his floor. He walked out first and stopped at his door. He noticed the big man made way for the lady to pass, when she looked up, he froze. It was the CEO lady, Mrs Rose greatest enemy and the woman who controls everything he want. Before he could say anything, she walked passed him as if they were strangers. She pressed the doorbell on Adrianna's door but no response.

He then walked up to her. " Morning Ms Sky. I wonder what brings the CEO of Jaydite here, have you come to check on your spy?" He watched her face for any emotion, but nothing, as if he hadn't said a thing. She pressed the doorbell again and no response. He noticed the look on her face as she rang for the third time.

"May I?" He asked politely.

Sky knew the password to the apartment but she didn't want Aidenn to suspect so she moved back and allowed him punch her sisters password. She rolled her eyes as the door opened and followed Aidenn inside. She hasn't been to the apartment before so she followed Aidenn as he led her to Jenna's room. Sky froze as she saw her sister.

Jenna covered herself with a thick blanket and folded herself like a cat. Sky rushed forward to remove the thick blanket from Jenna's head. and placed the back of her palm on her forehead.

"She's burning up! why is she like this? She was alright when we spoke on the phone last night."

"I was on my way out early this morning, so I decided to check on her. After ringing the bell several times, I tried her password and found her passed out on the ground. Thank God I've been watching her type her password".

"Let's take her to the hospital. Bones!" Sky called out.

"Calm down Ms Sky, she's better now. Her fever will break soon, I got her everything she needs here just move away so I can do my job" Aidenn said as he emptied the content of the bag he was holding"

" There's no way I'll allow you use any of that on her"

"Relax Ms Sky...I know you've carried out investigation about me and you know my license has been revoked but believe me I can't harm a fly. I was the best in my class and I also got good recommendation from the hospital where I did my internship program. We have to hurry. Before I left... her temperature has gone down but now it's high again...." Before he could finish his sentence, she was already on the phone with someone.

"Hello. Yes is this Doctor Richardson, yeah I'm allright. Please tell me all you know about Aidenn Moore and why he can't practice medicine in your country."

Aidenn's mouth dropped as he watched the woman. "Unbelievable" he said as he started work on Adrianna.
