She smiled as he led her out of the dance floor. Sky looked around for Dwayne but couldn't find him.

Since we don't want you passing out and dehydrating, let me get you the drink you asked for. Excuse me my lady, with that he bowed and went to get a drink for Sky since the waiters weren't serving what she requested.

Sky laughed as Chuks bowed. Hey maybe you should move to Europe, she said after him. Chiamanda walked close to her boss and told her Dwayne had sent her a text that he was going to get something from his room.

Sky was talking to Chiamanda about something when she saw reporters out of nowhere coming towards her. I thought Mr Dokun said only two or three reporters are allowed, I see more than ten ma'am.

Chiamanda blocked her boss with her body as the reporters tried to get close to her to get answers to their questions. Sky used her right hand to cover her face cause of the flash from the cameras affecting her eyes.

It all happened too fast, Bones ran to the boss with the other bodyguards as they pushed the reporters out.

Are you ok ma'am? Chiamanda asked as she checked her boss to see if she was hurt, cause the reporters were pulling and dragging her cloths. I'm ok Chiamanda, how about you?

I'm ok too ma'am just my hair. Chiamanda replied her. Sky smiled as she arranged Chiamanda's hair. Did you get a good look at their names?

Yes ma'am I got like seven of them, I'm sure Bones is threatening them now. Chiamanda watched as Bones barked orders at the other guards, they were a bit far from them so she couldn't hear everything. Do you need anything?

No I'm fine, just a little space, Sky said as the walked to the nearest table to sit down.

Chiamanda stood a little far from her to give her some space.

Her attention drifted to Bones and she stared at him, he was backing her so he couldn't see her. She remembered their dance. He had asked her to dance when the boss was dancing, she agreed but didn't take his eyes of the boss and the surrounding. He didn't even look at her, he wanted to be close to the boss in case of anything. She's dancing Bones, I'm sure she'll be fine...it's not like her partner is going to bring out a knife and stab her. Chiamanda said jokingly.

You never can tell Miss, one can never be too careful.

Chiamanda watched their feet as it moved in unison. He was so intimidating and warm at the same time. She stepped on his feet on purpose to get his attention. But instead he apologised and asked her if she was ok, looking at her for the first time since he asked her to dance.

Chiamanda smiled at the thought and as if he felt her eyes on him, he turned immediately and their eyes met.

Chiamanda, not expecting him to turn her way immediately, looked elsewhere. Feeling embarrassed, she looked up and that was when she noticed something was wrong with the chandelier like it was about to fall. Without thinking, Chiamanda ran to where her boss and pushed her with the chair she was sitting on. She looked up and saw the chandelier falling, she used her arms to block her face, expecting death, she said forgive me Lord for all my sins.She heard people scream, the next thing she knew, she was on the floor with Bones on top of her as he barked orders at the guards.

Chiamanda looked around and found her boss unconscious on the floor, oh no, she didn't see the pillar at the front, all she thought of was saving her boss not to hurt her....please let my boss be ok Lord please, she prayed as she stood up and ran to her boss as Bones lifted Sky off the ground and carried her like a child, she followed him as he ran to the elevator, crying.

The cup of Chapman Chuks was holding dropped to the ground as he saw what happened but he was too far to do anything. He ran towards the big man carrying her but the other guards stopped him from getting any close.

Let's leave this place, Ruky said angrily to his wife as he watched the reporters run to Mena. Please honey just hold on a bit, for my company's sake, please i need to speak with her.

Haven't you embarrassed me enough Tif? You know I can take that bodyguard of hers, but I couldn't do anything cause I was outnumbered and watched him embarrass me.

Why should I leave because of your ex? don't tell me you still love her and can't bear to see her with another man!

Please Tif, reduce your voice. Fine let's just stay for thirty minutes, then we can leave. Ruky turned to look at Mena, he saw her assistant or whoever the lady was helped her to a sit and then when to stand behind her but not to close. What he didn't expect was what happened next. He saw the lady run to Mena and knew something was wrong, he shouted watch out, unknowingly he stood up and ran to their direction.

He saw Mena try to avoid falling on her tummy and instead hit her head on a pillar hard, he saw blood dripping down her face. But before he could reach her, the big guy who embarrassed him earlier lifted her into his arms and ran to the elevator. Ruky stopped running and said thank God out loud as he ran his hand through his hair. Realising what he just did, he turned back to see his wife boiling with rage. He ran back to their table, but she stood up and picked her purse and stormed out of the room. He had no choice but to run after her.

Chiamanda called Dwayne as they ran towards the car. Ahmed held the door open for Bones and ran immediately to the driver's seat.

Running, Chiamanda said on the phone, Mr Teffa, boss was in an accident, the chandelier fell and she hit her head, she's unconscious, we are heading to the hospital.....before she could finish talking, Dwayne ended the call. Chiamanda dropped her phone and put her seatbelt on.

She looked at the backseat of the car and saw Bones rip his shirt and tied it round the boss's head, adding pressure to her wound and at the same time, preventing her from moving. Please ma'am be strong for us, she said out loud.

Bones looked at her and asked...are you ok?

What? Chiamanda asked, pulling her gaze away from her boss.

Your hand, you fell on your left hand, check it.

Oh ok, Chiamanda said as she tried to raise her left hand up, that was when she felt the pain. Ouch she she cried out.

Don't worry I'm sure the bone just shifted, we'll have it fixed at the hospital. You did a great job today Miss, thank you.

Chiamanda looked down and smiled. Anything for the boss she said.
