It's Payback Time : dont mess with me Chapter 89 - Cooking together !!

Outside suzys room , looking out of the huge window , kim tan was emitting cold aura around him . He was mentally blaming himself though it was not his mistake . 

Looking at his brother's cold face , Kim ting knew what exactly was his brother thinking just by looking at his expression . Putting his hand on Kim tans shoulder , kim ting called out " brother ..." 

Without turning back , still gazing out of the window absentmindedly , kim tan replied " I was there , just ten steps away from her , but still....I could not protect her . Its my fault for not being quick and now because of me ... shes hurt , just because I was not attentive " kim tan self blamed. 

" sigh...brother , stop blaming yourself . I know how you are feeling right now , but you are not a god , you are a human , you too make mistakes and .....its not your fault . Everything happened in a blink of an eye , if it was any normal person , they might have reacted late ...but you were quick . You did good job brother " kim ting said trying to ease out his brothers mood . 

Hearing Kim tings words , kim tan calmed down a little and sighed deeply. Just then Kim lan came out of suzys room and closed the door behind . When she looked up , she saw both her brothers standing infront of the large windows , so she headed straight towards them . Looking at her brother's swollen expression , Kim lan could almost guess what was he worried about . 

" woah....big brother , dont tell me you are blaming yourself " she asked and when Kim ting nodded she almost wanted to hit her head to near by wall as she thought ' this guy is blaming himself...while the other one is almost at cloud nine just because she sat on my brothers lap and now she even sent me to execute her plans...sigh ' . 

Taking a deep breath , kim lan patted her brothers shoulder twice before executing her task . " brother , there's no use of blaming yourself. If you really feel guilty then go and help her to take care . " Kim lan said , expecting that her brother would immediately accept the idea .

But before kim tan could even respond , kim ting came up with his logic at the wrong time

" but don't you think it might look like, brother is taking advantage of Suzy at her vulnerable state " 

' vulnerable my ass . That little devil wants the exact thing ' she thought as she mocked at her cousin " ting , I know you are a useless person. Its doesnt matter me about the other time but....can't you remain quite for now. Why the hell should you bring your logic at this point of time " Kim lan yelled for her cousins stupidness . Sometimes she really doubted whether this cousin of hers is really a member of her family . 

Kim tan who heard his brothers logic was deep in thought and did not hear what they spoke later . when he lifted his head up , he saw both his sister and brother looking at him eagerly . Rubbing the space between his brows , he said " lan , ting is correct. It's not fair for me to take advantage of this situation " . 

' what advantage , that devil is clearly the one who is taking your advantage ' Kim lan thought as she scowled . Giving a murderous glare to her to Kim ting as if saying ' I dare you to speak ' before turning towards kim tan , she said sweetly " brother ....its not like what you think , Suzy might be vulnerable right now but she needs someone by her side now . You can drop her home or help her to ease out her stress . By doing this , not only will you gain advantage and spend some time with her , she will also have someone who would take care of her and she wont feel lonely " 

" are you sure? " kim ting asked doubtfully. 

" yes brother . Almost every girl will fall in love with a boy when he stays beside her at her most vulnerable state . Who knows , she might fall in love with you during this period " Kim lan said confidently. 

Kim tan thought for a while and all the dark clouds above his head slowly started to disappear as he thought he could spend time with his wifey . Nodding his head , he said " okay , I'm convinced. I'll stay by her side, you guys can leave now " 

" okay " Kim lan said before pulling her idiotic second brother ting out of the hospital forcefully. 

After completing the formalities , suzy was discharged from the hospital and was asked to rest for a day . All the way , kim tan stayed by her side helping her and asking her whether she was feeling unwell every ten minutes . Worry was clearly visible on his face which warmed up suzys heart and at the same time , she started to feel guilty . 

By the time they reached home , it was already thirty past six, almost the dinner time . Reaching the house , suzy went straight to her room and came back after placing the medicine there . When she reached the hall , she saw kim tan standing inside the kitchen looking at the shelves .

Heading straight inside the kitchen she asked . 

" kim tan , what are you doing here ? " 

" preparing dinner for you " kim yan replied nonchalantly. 

" dinner ? Are you serious " suzy asked with a shocked expression. 

Looking at her shocked expression , kim tan asked with his eyebrows raised " why ? Cant I " 

" no no no no....its not like that but how can I let the great prince cook for me " 

" haha....its nothing " 

" No way....I'm going to cook . I can't make you work " 

" suzy , dont forget that you have just been discharged by the hospital and you need rest " kim tan said sweetly yet sternly living no room for further discussion. Hence , suzy raised her flag with no other choice . 

" what are you going to prepare ? " suzy asked curiously with her twinkling eyes , only then did Kim tan realize that he never cooked after he turned eleven....so he had no idea what to cook . 

Looking at his struggling face , suzy somewhat understood what he was thinking about . Chuckling to herself, she offered " why don't I help you " 

Hearing this , kim tans lips curled up and he immediately accepted the offer , " sure....why not " 

Hence , both of them started to cook together in that spacious kitchen . 

" kim tan , can you wash the vegetables first " she said before passing the vegetables to him . While kim tan was washing the vegetables , his cuffs loosened up . Seeing him struggling with his cuffs , suzy came forward as she said " show me your hand , I'll fold it up " she said and Kim tan did as she said . Slowly, with her slender fingers, she folded both the cuffs neatly like a professional. As he watched her folding his shirt cuffs , kim tans heart warmed up . He just could not help but feel as if they were husband and wife right now. 

After washing the vegetables , kim tan started to cut the vegetables as small as he could . At first Suzy wanted to cut them, but kim tan did not allow her as he was afraid that she might cut her fingers . Though this was his first time , he was still trying to cut them into smaller pieces .

Looking at the heart warming scene , where the devil king was actually struggling to cut vegetables, suzy chuckled . Taking up the opportunity, suzy made her way towards Kim tan . 

" wait , let me help you " she said and in a blink of an eye , she was already infront of him , with her back facing him , standing in between the table and him . Since she was not as tall as Kim tan , she could only squeeze herself to the front to help him cut the onions . Holding both his arms , suzy slowly guided him how to cut the vegetables. 

Coming back to his sense , taking up the opportunity, kim tan leaned forward , with his front touching her back and his head bent down , almost lieing on her shoulders .

Feeling his warmth breath which tickled her skin , suzy blushed scarlet red whereas Kim tans ear turned pink . Both of them were smiling sheepishly , enjoying the moment in their own way . 

This scene was especially heart warming , where both of them were buying opportunities to get close with one another without letting the other one know anything about it .

Ah ! This scene is making your author feel bad for being single 🥺😢😢....but still....I cant help but smile sheepishly as I imagine them being lovey dovey in the kitchen😜
