[Day 30]

After waiting a little I saw the female guard running to me.

"Thanks for waiting! Oh, I forgot I haven't still introduced myself how embarrassing... I'm Lisa." she introduce herself as she bow down.

I wonder why she didn't tell her family name but based on her actions until now I guess she's a noble. She might not want to scare me with her status what a nice woman... All guards greets and bow down to her and the way she introduce herself is very noble like.

"I'm Noah- I mean Artemis Zhaperius then again nice to meet you." I bowed to her. I quickly corrected myself, I almost said my name! I wish she didn't notice.

"Nice to meet you Artemis now shall we go?"

As we were walking around, many people kept gathering around us and taking glances at me especially the girls..... I heard them whispering.

"Hey look at that devilish handsome guy! And that beauty on his side wait, isnt that lady Fol Einshelt?!" Lisa's face was turning beet red in embarrassment. Fol Einshelt huh... hmmm why does that name sounds familiar?

"Who's that guy? Wait, doesn't he look someone super familiar?"

"Ahh! Doesn't he look a lot similar to the hero Noah! Is he the hero's relative? If he is why didn't we know and why does he only came back now? It's been 8 months since the hero died."

8 months?! That long?! But it's only been 30 days! Now I really need to go to that place for more information but for now I need a cloak I don't want to attract any unnecessary attention.... and it's quite embarrassing even though I should be used getting attention all the time.

"Uhm... miss Lisa can we stop by at the shop before we go to the inn."

"Hmmm why?"

"I think... I need a cloak." I sighed.

"Okay, I understand." She giggled

I entered a clothing shop to buy a cloak and went to a weapon shop to buy weapons. I used the money from the bandits I encountered on the way to Neveah and it's quite an infamous group too. Because of that I have loads of money ready to be spend anytime. They even have enchanted weapons and expensive stuff, I stored all of them to my [Dimensional Pocket].

We finally arrived at the inn. The words written the sign is Couatl and it have a good looking structure made out of bricks with some partial wood. It's a large building even though it's not that well known, as expected from the richest kingdom in the world. As I went inside I saw an old friend of mine Aldea.

"Thank you very much Lisa for bringing me another customer hehe~" She is a beautiful young girl with spring green hair and brown eyes. Her two wavy tresses on the sides of her head are secured by ribbons. Her arms and legs are slim, slender without looking too unhealthy.

"You're welcome, this is Artemis he wants to stay here."

"How many days do you want to say Artemis?" Aldea asked as she secretly taking a quick peek at my face.

"How much to stay for 1 month?"

"Hmmm? 1 night is 2 silver so that will be... 62 silver coins."

I pretended to for searched for money in my pockets and used my [Dimensional Pocket] to take out exactly a bag of coins and handed it over to Aldea.

"Thank you! Here's your key to the 2nd floor room 15." after she handed me the key my stomach rumbling loud enough to be heard by everyone.

"I guess your hungry hehehe~"

"Do you have any recommendations?"

"For the appetizer I recommend you Cockatrice Devil's Egg, for the main course Mustard-stuffed Wyvern and Minotaur Salad with Fregola. Then for dessert Treant Apple Pie Bread and for the drinks ale."

"Sure I'll order them all, how about eating lunch with me Lisa, my treat consider it as my thanks for helping me."

"Um."

"Then I'll leave you lovebirds, I'll go get your foods."

"While we eat the appetizers why don't you tell me something about yourself Artemis? Like where do you live before? Why did you come here? What are your plans for the future?"

"I'm a nomad I really don't stay in a place for too long. I've come here because I want to experience what it's like living in here. As for my plans for my future I might try becoming a adventurer."

Future plans... I haven't really thought of that the only reason I'm here is to retrieve that and to search for information.

"Does it mean you will leave this place in the future?!"

"Maybe? I don't know we'll see."

Aldea returned with a bunch of delicious looking foods.

"Thanks for waiting! Here's your order."

She place the food in our table.

*Gulp*

I couldn't refrain myself from swallowing my saliva. No matter how many times I came here and eat this delicacies I'll never get tired of it. I took a glance at Lisa its seems like she can't wait either to eat.

"Shall we start eating?"

"Um!!"

"Thanks for the food." We both said in unison.

The aroma of the meat is tickling my nose I couldn't help but to take a deep sniff at the tantilizing meat aroma that had permeated around the inn and take a big bite.

"Mmmm!"

Ahhh this familiar taste how long is it since I last ate a proper clean delicious food?

"I told you It's delicious isn't?"

"Yeah."

Though I already knew the taste but obviously I wouldn't tell her that.

Then I drank the ale.

"Ahhh nothing beats a classic ale."

After wolfing down the food and paid for it we said goodbyes to each other and gone up to my room. I entered room 15 it's a big room it have a door which I'm assuming for the bathroom, 2 windows, a bed, chairs, and a table.

I lay down in the bed, after talking with Lisa made me think about my future plans. At first I'm here to retrieve my items but how do I do that? All of my old items is in the treasure room of the castle I can't sneak in with my current self. And I also need to earn money and search for information regarding what happened in the last 8 months.

If I ever happen run to Sofia I don't know what I'll do. Do I trust her and tell her everything? But she might be a backstabber like Zell or it might just me being paranoid. I've known Sofia for a very long time and I don't think she will do that to me but it was the same with Zell and he backstab me.

And Zell if I meet him... I don't know if I can keep myself calm and hold myself from ripping his head open.

Don't get me wrong I still love Sofia very much but I'm too afraid... too afraid to trust anyone. Everytime someone would talk to me those memories of Zell betraying me keep replaying in my mind. I might have become crazy because sometimes I heard this voice telling me not to trust everyone, that they will eventually leave me alone when they're done with me. That everything happened until now is just a facade and will betray me in the end. I'm becoming more insane everyday thinking that Zell right now is well and alive enjoying his life to the fullest and it's driving me crazy. The darkness is slowly swallowing me to the deepest part of the endless abyss of hate and anger.

Even though I told Adamas and everyone about what happened to me. Until now I still haven't trusted them not one bit. I only told them about it because I want to use their sympathy for myself. I act weakly a little in front of them so they will think that I always depend on them that I need them but it's the other way around. In the future when I became strong enough I won't need any of them it means I don't need to trust anyone...

Now I now how Nylbiarynth felt when he was betrayed... I don't think I can handle another betrayal. I need power for that to happen I need to recover my old strength. For now I'll only trust myself and use that girl Lisa to get me inside the castle.
