Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband Chapter 125 - 125: Something is pulling me to fall more [3]

After lunchtime, they decided to watch the Daytime Parade. They went to buy some souvenirs before going to the Parade.

Inside a shop, Xiulan's attention is on the stack of Duffy stuffed toys and merchandise. Everything is cute and she's not sure what to buy first.

Hongqi only followed his wife and monitored what entices her. He secretly tells the personnel beside him to get this and that. Whatever Xiulan touches or even have a second glance, he immediately tells the shop's personnel to put it in the cart.

Eventually, Xiulan bought a pair of a stuffed toy of Duffy and StellaLou. Some clothes for the stuffed toy, three big bags, five small sling body bags, stationaries, cookies, and accessories. For her, she already bought a lot. She used her own money this time and didn't let Hongqi pay for it.

Unbeknownst to her, Hongqi has his own cart full of items that she didn't dare to add in her own cart. Hongqi secretly told the personnel that his secretary will get all those merch later.

Xiulan is really happy with her purchase and she can't stop smiling while she stares her big paper bag.

"I wonder why you smile like that on cheap stuff like this while frown at the expensive jewelry I gave to you." Hongqi sulked while he carries their bags. He quickly looks for a bodyguard to carry all of them.

Xiulan ignored his rants and cutely puts on the headbands and the sling bag. She eventually answered him and displayed an adorable smile. "Cute stuff makes me happy." 

Hongqi gawked at his wife and quickly replied, "Okay. I'll buy more of that." He was about to go back to the shop but Xiulan stops him.

She laughs at his reaction and pulled him closer to her side, "Come here. Let me put this on you."

Hongqi listened and bowed his head so his wife can put that headband on him. He didn't even complain. Usually, men don't like such thing on their heads but for his wife, he will do it.

Xiulan pinches his sharp jaw and happily complimented her work, "There. You're so cute!"

Hongqi stares at his wife and shamelessly asked, "Kiss me, please?"

She frowns at his request and looked at their surrounding, "Here? Right now?" He nodded and was about to kiss her since she's asking so much.

She panicked and quickly covered her lips with her small hands. Hongqi laughed at his wife's antics and playfully embraced her. "It's just a kiss, love."

She glared at her husband's words. She hates public display of affection so much since she's a shy person. But this husband seems to like to do such things in public so much.

Hongqi didn't try to pry and pressure her anymore. He let go of his embrace and held her hands, "You're cuter than those bears, love. Let's go."

Xiulan suspiciously glares at him and she let Hongqi drag her to the parade.

One of the bodyguards managed to get a good spot for the couple, he even laid a fancy cloth for them to sat on. When he saw the approaching Xing couple, he quickly took their attention and gave his seat to them.

"Thanks," Hongqi said to the bodyguard. The guard only nodded and stand beside a lampost to monitor and protect the couple.

Xiulan stared at the bodyguard for a minute and put her attention on her husband, "Did they followed us everywhere? They should at least rode some attraction or something."

The afternoon weather is catching up and it's getting warmer. Hongqi removes his jacket before answering his wife. "I'm not sure. But they can enjoy Disneyland with their family using the huge amount of payment they are going to get from me."

"Ah..." she nodded and agreed. It's a good thing that this husband pays generously to his underlings.

"It's good that we rode the roller-coasters this morning. Morning sun is not that hot unlike the afternoon sun." Hongqi mentioned and relaxed on his seat. There are many people around them. It's a good thing that the bodyguard saves a spot for them in the very front. This way, his wife can watch without anyone blocking her view.

"I told you. After all that walking and getting nervous from the rides, we can just relax now and enjoy the view and buy items." Xiulan said as she pulls out her own mirrorless camera to take pictures of the parade. She carefully wipes it and checks her gallery.

The parade started and amazing floats entered the streets. Xiulan is a huge Disney fan so she immediately can point out the characters easily.

Hongqi's hands are on his wife's waist again so their distance is very close to each other, almost embracing. He enjoyed listening to his wife's giggles and amazing reactions from the parade. 

She kept uttering the words "So cute", "So pretty", "Woah! Wow!" and "Aww! So so cute!". 

His attention is not even on the parade, he kept looking and listening to her reactions. In the whole parade, his attention was on her instead of the majestic display in front of them.

"It's my first time seeing the parade. It's really pretty and better to watch in real life than in the videos. So magical." Xiulan said besides Hongqi, their hands were tangled with each other again while to walk to their next destination.

Hongqi only nodded but the whole time his attention was on her. "Yeah, very very beautiful."

They visited more shops and bought more cute items. This time, Xiulan agreed that Hongqi could buy her some items. Her husband seems to be dying to buy and gift something to her so she agreed to let him do it. It's like he's going to die if he will not spend his money.

Of course, Hongqi bought the most expensive thing he could see. He bought all the expensive accessories in different styles and collections. 

Much to Xiulan's dismay, she couldn't stop him in time since he's so fast in giving his card to the cashier. They almost argued in front of so many people but she decided to calm down and just let him do whatever he wants.

Once they exited the shop, Xiulan quickly pinched him and scolded him. "You're wasting money again."

Hongqi didn't answer her and wanted to avoid arguing. He tenderly held her hands and kissed it. "Sorry." He pulls out of the Minnie Mouse earrings and he offered to put it on her.

Xiulan's anger subsided but still, she's irritated. She still can't fathom how can he spend so much money easily like this. 

She glared at him for a minute and eventually nodded at his offer. She didn't have the heart to ignore that beautiful Minnie Mouse earrings. She let him put the earrings on her. 

Though it's a childish design, it still looks graceful on her. Hongqi charmingly smiled and kissed her forehead. Oh, he just can't wait to confess but it's not the time yet!

After shopping and eating cute snacks, they decided to leave. They didn't want to watch the late-night events since they saw it so many times before and Xiulan's not interested.

Inside the car, the couple snuggled closely again. Today, it seems that they become closer to each other. Both physically and mentally. It's another progress, they are like a real couple awhile ago. 

Xiulan is somewhat surprised at herself for being sweet to him today too. She's really like a teen in her first sweet date with her first boyfriend. It was so funny and cringe at the same time.

As they reached their VIP room, Hongqi has to talk to Secretary Yang Bo regarding business matters since he left Yang Bo deal with the clients while he happily spends his time with his wife. Right now, there seems to be a very important call for him.

Xiulan didn't take a bath first and decided to take a nap on the sofa. She didn't want to lie down on the bed since her clothes might be dirty and dusty. She's too lazy to even raise her legs right now.

An hour passed and Xiulan woke up from the noise that Hongqi created. The secret items that Hongqi bought were delivered by Secretary Yang Bo. Now, their room is full of Disney merch boxes and plastic bags.

She can't believe that this man really had to spend so much money just for her little happiness.

"Hongqi, you did it again." She slightly frowns at him and checks one of the bags. One of Duffy's friend is in there. 

"I thought that you should complete all of Duffy's friends. It might get lonely without all of his friends." He said and chuckled beside her. There are different clothes for all of the stuffed toys too. Xiulan is not sure whether to cry or not.

Hongqi embraced her while her back faces him. "Let's take a bath." He huskily whispered to her. His hot breath made her ticklish.

This day is definitely magical. Xiulan is not sure what kind of magic trick was cast on her but she's sure that tomorrow will be very different and it'll feel like flowers are blooming from then on.
