She and Dandan came back just an hour ago. As soon as they arrived, she dashed to her office and immediately sat down on her chair. She put all her attention on her laptop and it remained like that until the end of the employee's working hours.

Today, she was feeling like she needs justice and change the image of Mrs. Xing. She doesn't want to be the perfect but timid wife of Xing Hongqi anymore.

It was quite ironic that she was considered a modern heroine because of her contributions but the title of being Mrs. Xing was still far more memorable to people. It was exactly 2:45pm when the woman clocked in. She quickly hacked in to that building and company's system and searched for the person who clocked in at 2:45pm.

Xiulan's beautiful lips curled when she tracked down that little bitch. All the information about that woman, Ling Jenny, was displayed in her laptop screen. Apparently, that wicked woman was a reporter of a showbiz tabloid, KissNews.

KissNews was a notorious publishing company for exposing the rich and famous' private lives. It seems that reporter was lucky enough that time that she caught her scolding people. It was a juicy news to be posted anyway.

Xiulan quickly typed something on her keyboard. It was a script that could hack Ling Jenny's phone and laptop. She wanted to monitor who she will contact regarding this juicy news. She also wanted to know if she's connected to Gong Yuming.

It was already 6pm when Dandan came inside her office.

"Boss, I have to go. Just message me if you have concerns. See you tomorrow!"

"Hm…" Xiulan briefly nodded and didn't bother to look at Dandan. Xiulan was still busy on her own little world. She was busy snooping at her enemies' territories.

All her efforts in tracking down this Ling Jenny was not in vain. Her hunch was right and that Ling Jenny was connected with Gong Yuming. The events happened in the parking lot are now in Ling Jenny's hands and it was obviously an edited video.

In the video, during that moment she whispered something to Gong Yuming, they put a different voice and made up a fake dialogue. "Stay away from my husband, little slut."

Xiulan busted a loud laugh when she heard the fake dialogue. "Gosh! At least make my voice right! Why do they have to use a fake squeaky voice? Ah! Right, to make everything less obvious. Stupid, if people buy this crap and believes this squeaky voice, I will seriously lose my hope in humanity." Xiulan muttered while she saves each of these videos. She can't help but snort and shake her head whenever she remembers that fake dialogue. "Terrible voice acting."

She already have a copy of the CCTV in the parking lot so in case Gong Yuming tries to upload all these stuff, she just needs to upload it.

She doesn't have any hope in Hongqi anymore. He might even get mad at her that she lose her cool in public and has tainted the image of Mrs. Xing.

She doesn't care though. She doesn't care about the perfect image of Mrs. Xing anymore. It'll make her crazy if she keeps being nice to people who bully her in public.

She may be quiet all the time but if she's pushed to use her sharp tongue, she'll really do it and will have no mercy.

But what should she do to Ling Jenny? That woman obviously wanted to lose her job by offending her. She's not that petty to let that woman lose her job but she should put a little mischief to her. Childish, maybe, but that woman was connected to Gong Yuming.

Xiulan's not that dumb. She connected the dots and she guessed that Gong Yuming might be brewing something. She doesn't get why Gong Yuming has to put a lot of effort in bullying her.

"Was it because of an unhealthy obsession? She needs mental help if ever." Xiulan mumbles silently.

Xiulan was still contemplating hard while she stares at her laptop when her phone suddenly rang. It was an alarm and reminded her that it's time to go home.

She remembered that she must rest longer from now on, self-care. She's feeling dizzy lately because of stress and fatigue. She doesn't want to be hospitalized again so she must do something with her health and unhealthy lifestyle, specifically unhealthy sleeping habits.

She turned off her laptop and took her bag. She checked one last time if she left anything important out of the open before she leaves her office.

The guard outside was surprised to see her going home early. For a moment he wanted to say something but he immediately shut his mouth and smiled to the female boss. He bid her good bye and he went inside the office to do his rounds.

When everything was silent and no one was around, he pulled out his phone and dialed Hongqi's number.

"What?" Hongqi's baritone and intimidating voice can be heard.

"Young Master, the madam just left the building. She shut herself inside her office for quite a long time. Though she looks tired but she was still the last one the leave. She's really hardworking." The security guard reported.

"I see. Do you see anything suspicious in her expression?" Hongqi probed. He actually bribed the security guard to report to him every night what was happening in Xiulan's office. He find it helpful especially in today's situation.

Hongqi's bodyguards reported to him that Gong Yuming appeared in front of the madam today. Nothing extreme happened but they are sure there was an indescribable tension. He also saw the CCTV footage of the two women's encounter. He can't believe that Gong Yuming would directly visit Xiulan during her working hours just to say something. He doesn't know what it was but he was sure that witch might lie to his wife.

Now he's contemplating what kind of punishment he will do to Gong Yuming. It's not that he was afraid of a lawsuit if ever he unexpectedly fires her. It's just that the image of his showbiz company never had this kind of case or bad PR. It's inevitable that this will leak. It'll be troublesome since he's very sensitive when it comes to image.

For some reason, his father's words stuck in his very core. "Don't let your marriage or your wife or any woman to interfere in your business. It'll just bring you down. You are aware of Helen of Troy in the Trojan War, right? That's the best example."

He definitely agrees to what his father said. He actually experienced his first downfall with Zhao Lingyu. He doesn't want that to happen again. He's not sure if Xiulan would be like that in his life but for now, he will be on standby and monitor what will happen.

"Madam's expression… she seems to be really tired. That's all I can see." The security guard pities the young female director. She was always working, busy and had to take care of her husband when she gets home. He's sure that she doesn't have enough rest ever since she got married. "Just a piece of advice, young master. If madam says she's tired, please listen to her." It may sound rude and off that he's advising or scolding his boss but it's for their own good.

Hongqi was speechless for a while. He didn't find it rude but he actually thought that this security guard was courageous enough to give him a word. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." He ended the call and slipped his phone back in his pocket.

He stared at the CCTV footages on his laptop. No one knows what he was thinking but there was an obvious disturbance in them.
