Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband 37 Chapter 37 : First Time To Sleep Together In The Master's Bedroom

"Missus..." Zhu muttered shockingly. She was a little bit surprised by the lady boss' sudden action. She was just sleeping awhile ago.

Xiulan gave her a look that she should hand over the phone. Zhu understood her boss' facial expression and swiftly gave the phone to Xiulan.

Xiulan stared down her phone screen and listens to Hongqi's angry questions for a good minute. Though the phone was not on her ears, the loud angry voice of Hongqi can be heard in this short distance.

Lau Zhu thought her boss was just thinking hard on what alibi she will say to her husband. But Zhu was caught off guard when the lady boss suddenly pushed the end call button and threw the mobile phone on the duvet.

"Missus?!" Zhu panicky asked. Xing Hongqi sounded so angry and her boss just ends the call without even saying a word. Her boss will definitely get a scolding from her husband.

Zhu somewhat knows that Hongqi was strict. She hasn't met him in person yet but according to the information she got when she did a background check on the Xing couple, Hongqi was considered scary boss by his peers. Though the media portrays him as a good clingy husband but scary to his peers, she's not 100% sure if that's the real case behind doors.

Xiulan blankly looks at Zhu like she loses all of her brain cells. "I also don't know what to say. I'm not good at talking to angry people, hehehe." Xiulan nervously confessed. Xiulan awkwardly laughed and smiled.

Zhu also made a crooked smile like she was so confused of the situation. They are smiling like idiots. They are far more scared at Xing Hongqi's anger and they seem to forget that they almost died awhile ago.

Xiulan stops smiling and heavily sighed. "Can I be discharge? We must get back to the penthouse before Hongqi arrives." Xiulan hastily inquired.

"Not yet, missus. The doctor said you must stay here for a few days because of your broken bones. I'm sorry that you have to end up in a hospital because of my negligence." Zhu explained and apologized again for her grave mistake.

"Zhu-ah, it's okay. Accident happens, okay?" Xiulan smiled. "Instead of sulking, let's beg the doctor to allow me to leave the hospital. I can't let my husband see me in a hospital bed. I don't know how to explain why I end up here." Xiulan frowned and thought of ways how to convince the doctor in charge.

"I will talk to the doctor. I will do everything to get you out of here." Zhu said and quickly left the room.

Xiulan doesn't know what kind of trick Zhu will do to convince the doctor to agree but she hopes that it will go smoothly. She can't let Hongqi know how compelling her status. Also he might ask the doctor and she doesn't want to get exposed that she arrived in the hospital with a blonde hair! How outrageous it will be to explain why she was in a disguise.

Thankfully the doctor let Xiulan go home, though he advised her to stay at home for a whole week and instructed her to ask the Xing or Song family doctor to treat her.

Xiulan's broken bones on her back were in a crucial state. Well who wouldn't? She fell from the third floor and landed on a hard concrete floor. It's a miracle that she's not in a coma, dead or paralyzed. Good thing she put all the force on her back and didn't let her head hit the floor. If ever her head hit the floor, she might be in a coma right now.

They are now inside the penthouse and Zhu carefully supported Xiulan all throughout the time. Zhu attentively laid Xiulan on the soft sofa.

Honqgi hasn't come home yet and both women were relieved. They all guessed that he must be still in a meeting or he won't come home today. They both hope for the later and not come home for a few days.

Xiulan asked Zhu to help her wash up with a wet cloth so she can go to bed and rest. She really hopes that Hongqi will not come home so she can sleep in the master's bedroom. Xiulan thought that it will be weird for Zhu to see her sleep in a separate room.

Xiulan suddenly thought that she's already in this pitiful state yet she still takes importance in her Mrs. Hongqi role and Hongqi's reputation. Her devotion in protecting the Xing name has taken in a whole new level. She also can't believe it.

Zhu came back from the kitchen with a towel and basin. She took a small chair and sat near the sofa where Xiulan was laying down. She puts the basin on her lap and soaks the towel on the water with ethyl alcohol and a few drops of essential oil.

She was squeezing out the extra liquid out of the towel when the front door of the penthouse suddenly opens and revealed a frowning Xing Hongqi.

Hongqi came in with Secretary Yang Bo and they were both surprised that there was a stranger inside the penthouse and his little wife tiredly lying down on the sofa.

Zhu immediately held the basin and stands up. She bowed and respectfully greeted Hongqi. "Good evening, Mr. Xing."

Hongqi knitted his eyebrows and dashed towards his wife. He was so infuriated that this woman didn't even bother calling him back or even send a message.

His mood was not in the best condition awhile ago and he was really worried yet this woman nonchalantly lies on the sofa.

All his anger were poured to his employees and artists. Even though his artists won most of the prestigious awards but he was not happy at all! How could he be happy when this little wife made him feel different kinds of emotions in a span of five hours?!

He was about to raise his voice and scold his wife but he halted when he saw the clear view of how pitiful his wife's current state.

"What happened to her?" Hongqi asked coldly and hurried to Zhu. His wife's shoulders, arms and lower leg were wrapped in bandages. What the hell happened during those five hours?

Zhu was about to respond but Xiulan talks first. "I fell from the stairs. I was running in the arena's fire exit stairs awhile ago then I got clumsy and fell from the third floor. I was like a ball rolling down the stairs." Xiulan lied and smiled like she's making everything like a joke. Though she really fell from the stairs and third floor!

"Fell from the stairs? What were you doing in the fire exit anyway? And why did you let that happen, huh?" Hongqi angrily inquires and sharply looks at Zhu who was watching silently with the basin on her hands.

"I was--" Zhu was cut off again by Xiulan. "I was trying to lure out someone. I felt like someone was following me so I went to the fire exit to lure the culprit. But sadly I fell and broke some bones. My bodyguard Zhu was there to protect me but I was stubborn and went ahead of her. I was in the hospital awhile ago that's why I wasn't able to send you any messages." Xiulan tried her best to put the best white lie out there. She must create a convincing story.

"Bodyguard?" Hongqi looks at Zhu from head to toe. He didn't get any news or information that his wife took in a new bodyguard. His shadow guards didn't inform him either. Was his wife this good in hiding secrets?

"Hey, don't scare my bodyguard." Xiulan frowns at Hongqi and tugged the hem of his suit. Hongqi glanced at his wife and the later smiled coquettishly.

It's the first time Hongqi saw that endearing and quite flirty smile from his wife. He was somewhat entranced that this woman can create such smile. All of his anger subsided in just a snap. He calmly looks at Xiulan and nodded.

Xiulan tried her best to act like a cute wife trying to coax her husband's anger. For heaven's sake, she's doing all of this out of the norm expressions so that she will not expose her secrets. God damn, someone better get her a best actress award.

"And what's that?" Hongqi is less angry now but still he wanted to interrogate this new bodyguard. He pointed at the basin that Zhu was holding.

"I was about to give the madam a wet towel bath." Zhu explains.

"Ah... I will do that." Hongqi suggested and forcefully took the basin from Zhu's hands.

Zhu got a little surprised by the forceful snatching of the basin and Xiulan was also surprised by Hongqi's suggestion of bathing her. Heck, why did it end up like that?

"Help me put her in the master's bedroom. I can't carry her right now since I don't know where her wounds are. I might make it worse." Hongqi said and lead the way to the master's bedroom.

Zhu quickly carried Xiulan to the master's bedroom and carefully laid her on the very majestic gold super kingsize bed. Zhu almost blushed like a tomato. She thought that this super luxurious room is where the couple makes love. What an incredible room while f*cking each other. Zhu can't help her dirty thoughts that even her mouth has curled into a smile.

Xiulan saw the dirty smile on Zhu's face and she can already guess what's in her thoughts. She sharply looks at Zhu. Whatever Zhu was thinking, Xiulan doesn't like it. The later saw the sharp look from her lady boss and eventually erased the impudent smile on her face. She stands firmly waiting for the next instructions.

"For now you can go home. Secretary Yang Bo can drive you back. Thank you for accompanying my wife today." Hongqi said and generously suggested. Actually he just wanted Secretary Yang Bo to question this new bodyguard.

"Yes, Mr. Xing. Madam, I will take my leave. I will report to you tomorrow." Zhu respectfully informs and stared at Xiulan before she left the room.

Secretary Yang Bo was waiting for Zhu near the elevator of the penthouse. Zhu emerges from the door and smiled at Secretary Bo. "No need to drive me back. I have a car with me."

"I'm sorry but I'm sure you know that my boss will not let you off easily. I have a lot of questions to ask." Secretary Yang Bo implied. Though he has a friendly demeanor, his words have a hidden threat.

Zhu smiled mockingly like she already knew that this will happen. She obliged and answered all of Secretary Yang Bo's questions with white lies before the scary secretary stops and let her go home.

Back to the couple, Hongqi carefully wipes Xiulan's skin like it was the most fragile thing ever. Her upper body only has her bra and the bandages. He wipes on the exposed area only.

Xiulan was still on her disguised clothes sans the blonde wig when she came back from the hospital.

Hongqi didn't ask much why she was in those childish clothes. His mind was muddled by how to wipe Xiulan's skin without hurting her. That's how concerned he was. He didn't even think of any sexual thoughts. He just wanted to help her. Also add that he's already quite immune seeing a woman's naked body. It was normal for him.

He was partially at fault. His wife might have felt so nervous that someone was following her. He doesn't know if it was the shadow guards or the pesky men who tries to stalk his wife. But for some reason, he felt that it was also his fault why she ended up like this.

Xiulan was a little shy, nervous and on guard just by being half naked in front of Hongqi. This will be the very first time she'll be half naked in front of a man. Though she knew Hongqi was a pervert and a prankster, he seems to be gentle today and she trusts him that he won't do something stupid while she's naked and wounded.

Xiulan was satisfied with Hongqi's behaved actions and he finished wiping her upper body without any problems.

After wiping her upper body, Hongqi covered his wife with a gray lacy night robe that ends on her thighs so her upper body already has a cover before he takes off her pants. He thought that his wife might feel super naked or awkward if he doesn't cover her.

Hongqi carefully pulls the pants and attentively not hitting the wound on her lower leg. After that he meticulously wipes her legs.

Xiulan laid there like a dead person waiting for this agonizing moment to finish. She even closes her eyes so she won't have that awkward eye contact with Hongqi. Heck, the way Hongqi held her legs and wipes it was sensual; it really made her blush and shy.

Hongqi didn't feel much when he wiped Xiulan's upper body but when the beautiful pearly legs were in front of him. It made him feel quite strenuous down there. He has an irresistible urge to kiss her thighs but he has to restrain. God damn he's wiping an injured person.

After that excruciating moment, Hongqi helped Xiulan roll over to her back so that the fractured bones on her back will not strain while she sleeps. He also put a pillow underneath Xiulan's shin so that her wounded legs could have a comfortable position. Then he covered her with a duvet before he quickly retreats to the bathroom to take clean himself and also to release some tension.

Xiulan was thankful that Hongqi didn't do anything funny. She tries to sleep but she's feeling nervous again since this will be the first time she'll sleep in the master's bedroom and also beside Hongqi. She knows that Hongqi will not do anything suspicious but she still can't sleep! She was on full guard.

Hongqi finishes his bath and came out of the bathroom with only a towel on his waist. His wet hunky body and six packs were in a glorious view for anyone to enjoy.

Xiulan saw this and immediately closes her eyes. "Does he really have to get out of the bathroom like that?" she asks herself.

Hongqi went inside his walk in closet and rummages for some pajamas that he rarely uses. He always slept naked or only with a boxers or underwear. But since Xiulan will be sleeping with him tonight, he must at least put on some clothes to make her comfortable. He bets that his naked glory will make Xiulan uncomfortable.

He puts on a royal blue pajamas and dried his hair with a hairdryer inside the inside the walk in closet as well since he didn't want to disturb Xiulan's sleep. He also sent a message to Secretary Yang Bo to acquire all the CCTV footages in GEA and send it to him tomorrow.

After finishing all his night time routine like putting on moisturizer and balm, he finally lays down on the bed with Xiulan.

He briefly checks if Xiulan was in pain or in an uncomfortable position. After checking that everything is good, he tucks the hair that was covering Xiulan's face to her ears and slightly brushes her hair. Then he lovingly kissed her forehead while whispering "I'm sorry you ended up like this. I have someone following you every day. So don't be afraid of them, okay?".

After confessing that he has people following her, he kissed her forehead again before lying on his side. The kiss was to comfort her and to let her know that he cares for her. It's a sweet gesture of respect and care for an important woman.

Xiulan slightly frowns from Hongqi's confession.

"He has someone following me?" she did not expect that this haughty husband will hire someone to follow her every day. Why would he do that?

Xiulan lay there confused by her husband's nosiness and trying to find answers why he needs to know her every action. She's now quite nervous if her husband knows about her mission with the terrorist.
