Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband 36 Chapter 36: Beat up

Xiulan has sweated too much and it shows on the big sweatdrops on her forehead and neck.

Same with Lau Zhu, they were almost dying from the heat inside the a cramped dusty room.

They followed the group of suspicious men and hid beside a piles of old broken chairs and tables.

The punks started to have a meetup inside an abandoned room of the arena. Three men are watching the performance through peeking in the blinders while the two familiar faces and another bald guy are on guard near the door. One man was lazily napping in a tattered old couch.

"Should we attack now?" Xiulan silently muttered to Lau Zhu while she secretly tries to capture a video and images of these men using the camera of her tablet. She must need their pictures while their faces are exposed.

"If it were me, I would have attacked them as soon as I saw them." Lau Zhu impatiently muttered beside Xiulan. She was waiting for the right timing but the heat makes her so impatient that she just wanted to get this over.

"There are too many of them right now. Can we even beat up more than three? There are like 7 of them together." Xiulan concernly asked. She's not confident with her physical fighting skills if there are a lot of people to beat up. She might get knocked out if she made a mistake. Also the group of men has not made any suspicious movement yet.

"You have me here. I can beat them all up." Lau Zhu confidently and arrogantly said. 

"Zhu-ah... please be humble." Xiulan shakes her head and grinned. "But joking aside, what if they have guns?" Xiulan worriedly asked.

"I can easily dodge it. Just trust me okay? Do you know how to knock out people using pressure points?" Lau Zhu said while she concentrated at the movements of each men.

"Yes. But I'm not confident with my strength. Though I have a baton with me. I can knock them out in one hit using this." Xiulan said and glanced at her extending baton. She specifically bought this for this mission. She want to thank her father and her kendo master that they thought her about the deadly pressure points of the human body.

"Good. Missus, just watch my back and also concentrate on those punks who are facing away from you then knock them out with the baton." Lau Zhu firmly instructed.

Xiulan nodded and watches Lau Zhu rise from their hideout.

Lau Zhu swiftly and quietly tiptoed like a burglar towards a safe and hidden spot to start her attack. Then she stopped and quickly peek at their targets and hid her head again. She squatted to get something from her bag. She pull out a black thick rope  to use for strangling.

"Man, I'm beat up. The last practice with the chief made my whole legs paralyzed for three days and now we have this mission. I was not informed." one the punks with bald head devastatingly complained.

"Weak shit. You should have stayed behind. The chief wanted to make sure we will do our jobs properly today. The two idiots were such a failure." the guy with red streaks on his head arrogantly said and lazily pointed the two familiar punks using his mouth. He was lying down on the sofa and was napping awhile ago. It causes the three men to be surprised by his sudden muttering.

The two familiar idiots he was pertaining to glared at the man with red streaks on his hair.

"What did you say? If you got something to say then say it to our faces" the familiar punk with brown hair said and taunted the man with red streaks. He even went close to the arrogant man and taunts his target with an evil glare.

The red streak haired guy also stands up from his seat and gave off the same arrogant energy. They were now both in a raging staring contest. They only stared at each other for a minute and hasn't landed any punches.

"Now now... calm down everyone. Fight all you want later after this mission." the bald guy who said he was paralyzed for three days tried to coax the two arrogant punks.

"Idiots." Lau Zhu mouthed and rolled her eyes. She mocks the two men who can't even start to punch each other and would rather glare at their opponent instead. Seeing this kind of behavior from her targets made her underestimate them more. She can't wait to kick their asses and show them what a real fight is.

Instead of attacking them quietly like what their original plan was, she decided to change it and taunt them directly and exposing herself to the enemies.

"Hey boys." Lau Zhu revealed herself from their dark hiding place. Xiulan was shocked by the sudden actions of Lau Zhu. This was not their plan and she doesn't get why Lau Zhu has to reveal herself like that. She's like courting death. She wanted to stop her but she must hide for now.

"What the--!? Where the hell did you come from?" the bald guy who was coaxing his team blurted out. He was surprised to see someone other than his team here. Add to his shock that it was a random lady. What is a woman doing in a dark place like this? To get in this place they must go to a very dark hallway with full of garbage and dusty old furnitures. This place was far from the public.

"I heard people talking so I have to check. What are you guys doing here? Hmm?" Lau Zhu tried to act dumb and make them spill some info.

"It's none of your business, woman. Get out of here now before we do something to you." The red streak haired dude threatens and glared at Lau Zhu. He was trying to be nice. It's just one woman. No need to be cruel.

"I'm interested with that something." Lau Zhu cheekily said and annoyingly smirked at the punks.

"Lau Zhu-ah... why you must taunt them like this." Xiulan silently mutters. All she can do right now was to wait for Lau Zhu to attack them before she supports her in the battle.

"Woman... you're courting trouble. Get out!" The red streaks haired guy exclaimed and his patience to Lau Zhu was running out. He was really trying to be nice but the woman was taunting him.

Lau Zhu smirked. "What if I don't??" She annoyed them more.

"This bitch won't just budge." the bald guy said. Then he tries to grab Lau Zhu's arm.

Lau Zhu immediately dodges the bald guy and intimidatingly glared at him.

"This place is abandoned. Why are students like you doing in here?" Lau Zhu's mood suddenly changed and she acted like a marshal of the arena. She pointed out the word students since they were wearing school uniforms.

"Ahhh... this lady is so annoying." the red streaks haired guy muttered. "Finish her! She has seen too much." he loudly instructed to everyone.

The men tried to group around her so they can start torturing her. They all thought she's an idiot to come here by herself and interrogate them.

Lau Zhu smirked at them. "Bunch of babies. Trying to beat up one woman. So shameful." she commented and annoyed them more.

The men were ticked off by her words. Now they are really irritated and want to hurt her more.

"Bitch!" the bald guy passionately exclaimed and tried to punch Lau Zhu.

Lau Zhu easily dodges the bald guy's punch and gutted him directly on his stomach causing the bald man to suddenly fall on his knees and grunted painfully.

His other comrades were alarmed by the sudden actions of the woman. Now they realize she's not an ordinary lost woman. They looked at their red streaks haired leader to wait for their next action.

"Who are you working for?" the red streaks haired guy suddenly asks. He saw the fast reflexes of this mysterious woman. He speculated that she's part of a secret organization or NBI. But all he knows right now was that there are no groups yet who managed to tail them. If this woman knows that they are terrorists, his boss must know.

"Of course, I'm working for the government." Lau Zhu said and gave off a devil smile.

"Bullshit." The guy rebuted. They have someone working in the government to mislead the NBI or whoever tries to hunt them. So this woman was bluffing. But who could be the one trying to make trouble with them.

Xiulan and Lau Zhu now got some answers. By his response, he just revealed that they have a connection to someone in the government. Xiulan's hunch was true then. Thank goodness she never tried to give them the acquired info she got for so many months.

"Whoever you are working for, all of you won't see the light. Finish her!" The man angrily instructed and he quickly left the room. He must report this to the chief immediately.

Lau Zhu cannot let this man get away so she immediately tries to knock out the men who attempted to get in her way.

The three men who were busy watching the show awhile ago tried to stop her but she was faster than them. She gutted, punched and kicked them so easily. She also made sure that they are knocked out so they can still interrogate them later. But to make sure, she pushes a secret button on her smart watch. This will notify all her brothers that she needs help. They must gather these punks for interrogation later.

Xiulan then got out of the hiding place and help Lau Zhu. The fourth man who was out of Lau Zhu's view tries to hit her with a chair but Xiulan was fast and knocked him with her baton.

There are only remaining two familiar men in the room. They can't believe that their comrades were easily wiped out by two women just like that.

The blond haired guy was just a new recruit yet he never expected that they will encounter a difficult opponent. Much to his surprise that they are women. He looks at his brown haired comrade who was an older member of their organization. He was waiting for his command.

The brown haired man coldly stares at Zhu and Xiulan. "I think we need to end this useless banter." The brown haired man muttered. Then he pull out a device that looks like a remote control. He pushes a button and the four knocked out men suddenly trembles and cried out like they were getting electrocuted.

Xiulan gasped at the inhumane sight while Lau Zhu glared at the brutal man. Zhu can't believe he will immediately kill his comrades.

"Why did you do that to your comrades?!" Xiulan angrily exclaimed. They are now producing smoke coming from their dead bodies. It smelled horrendous. It's like a meat getting grilled but mixed with an off odor.

"They must not utter any word about us." The cold brown haired man said and he suddenly threw something that causes a huge smoke between them and an excruciating sound that hurts their eardrums.

Xiulan and Zhu coughed so badly and protected their ears. It took them a minute to get back to their senses. The two men are now missing.

"Fuck!" Zhu exclaimed and quickly ran towards the door where the leader exited awhile ago.

Xiulan tried to stop herself from coughing before she quickly follows Zhu.

When she ran towards the door, she did not expect Zhu to suddenly fall and lay on the ground. She halted and look at the passed out Zhu. She quickly went to Zhu's side to check her stability. Zhu was still breathing and it looks like Zhu got knocked out on the head. There was a huge red bump on Zhu's forehead.

Xiulan quickly put Zhu to the side and ran towards the door. She saw the two men dashing up the stairs with such poor lighting.

She follows them without battling an eyelash. She doesn't care if she gets beat up. As long as she can get one of them to be interrogated.

Xiulan did not expect that she'll manage to follow them in a short distance. She and the blond guy were now in third floor.

The blond guy was panting heavily and it's like he was so tired of going up the stairs while the brown haired man was already ten steps away from the blond guy.

Xiulan doesn't care about the brown haired man anymore. She must capture the blondie instead.

She was now five steps away from the blond guy. The man noticed this and he gasped like a little girl when he saw how close Xiulan was. "This bitch is so fast!" he exclaimed.

This got the brown haired man's attention and halted his steps. He looks at the two and it angers him how useless this new recruit was. He doesn't want to kill more of his comrades yet he must do it again for the sake of the organization's secrecy.

Xiulan was now just two steps away from the blondie and she can grab him easily but she suddenly heard a loud bang like a gun was released.

The man in front of her suddenly stops and loses his balance. She did not expect that he will land onto her and she now has an awkward and painful position on the rusty stairs' railings.

Since blond man's weight was incredibly heavy, it causes a Xiulan's back to arched from the painful pressure of the railings. Her arched was so prominent that half of her body was now out of the railings and she can fall anytime.

The brown haired man was not satisfied by Xiulan's perseverance so he threw an old chair at them that causes more pressure on Xiulan's body.

"Hey will you get up!" Xiulan angrily complains at the blond guy and tries to push him away. But the man won't budge and he was incredibly heavy.

The later did not respond. Instead she saw that there was a red gooey fluid coming out of his head. It even dropped on her face.

She realizes that the blondie was shot in the head. She suddenly panics from that realization and the blood coming out of the man's head. She was so scared that she's this close with a dead man.

Because of her sudden struggle, she completely loses her balance and it added more weight to her upper body. Because of this, she and the dead blondie fell from the third floor.

Xiulan grunted painfully when her body landed on the cold floor. Such painful landing causes her to be paralyzed for the moment. Add to her painful experience, the dead man also fell on top of her body that causes more pain to her small frame. It was alright if she got knocked out and fell asleep but she didn't and she can feel all the pain right now.

"Ugh... shit..." Xiulan excruciatingly grunted while she tries to weakly push away the dead man on top of her. She can't even feel her movements anymore.

Zhu felt like someone slap her on the face that causes her to wake up.

"This old bitch finally woke up." A man who looks like he's in his early twenties muttered as he carefully held Zhu. This man is one of Zhu's trusted brothers.

Zhu quickly rises from her dead posture and quickly shouted "The missus!!".

She quickly ran towards the stairs and immediately saw the grunting Xiulan on the ground looking helpless.

"Missus!!" Zhu quickly went beside Xiulan and helped her boss. Her pretty boss was so pitiful to look at. She hated herself for letting those men knocked her out so easily. She can't believe that she was knocked out by an iron pipe thrown to her forehead. She wasn't able to dodge it since it was a surprisw attack. It was so painful but she must endure to help her boss.

"That brat. I can't believe he will kill this youngster." Xiulan complained and pointed at the blond guy beside her.

Zhu pitifully looks at the dead blondie. "It happens." she quietly muttered. "We must get you out here soon and tend your wounds." Zhu worriedly added.

"It's not just wounds. I feel like I dislocated and fractured some bones." Xiulan painfully implied.

"Ahh... I really messed up this time. I'm so sorry." Zhu regretted that she didn't follow the orginal plan. If only she was not knocked out by a pipe.

"It's fine, Zhu. What's important is that we are still alive. Even if we get the blondie, he will still be killed by the remote control of that pesky brown haired dude." Xiulan angrily muttered. It really angers her that someone can kill their comrades so easily.

"Thank you... missus. Let's get you out of here." Zhu quietly mutters and carried Xiulan out of that hell. She also instructed her brothers to get the information of each dead men inside and clean everything up. The brown haired man and the red streaks haired man has now disappeared from the building. Zhu's brothers can't find them anymore so they halted the searching and went to the nearest hospital.

Xiulan was sleeping on the hospital bed while Zhu was sitting on a chair beside her. Zhu was waiting for Xiulan to wake up. Xiulan's wounds were already stitched up and treated while her fractures were given a quick remedy.

It was already 10:30 pm and the GEA event must have finished by now. Thank goodness nothing happened drastically after that wild encounter with the terrorist.

Xiulan's phone suddenly vibrated inside her bag and this caught Zhu's attention.

Zhu rummaged through her boss' bag and picked up the phone to check who was calling. She gasped when she saw the caller's name. It was her boss' husband, Xing Hongqi!

Zhu doesn't know what to do and what to say to Mr. Xing. She just can't reveal that his wife is now in the hospital all beat up. Zhu bit her lips from the troublesome problem but she must answer the call or else her boss' husband might find it suspicious.

Zhu finally chose to answer it. "Hello..."

"XING XIULAN! WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS!?" Mr. Xing angrily shouted and this causes Zhu to be speechless and regretted that she picked up the call.
