The penthouse in district Y was too big for the two of them so Hongqi decided to order more luxurious unnecessary furniture and antique China vases in different sizes and decorations to cover up the extra space.

Hongqi also decided to change the overall look of the living room and dining area, so he also hired an expert interior designer to change and finish the job within the day.

Xiulan was amazed again by Hongqi's manpower magnet. Her company has a huge problem in hiring the right people in different departments yet this annoying bored man can get the best person out there in just a snap.
She also has the money to hire but this man has a different level of getting the right people!

"A human management magician!" Xiulan secreltly commented.

After that excruciating visit and ear-hurting money talk expenses for Hongqi's penthouse in district Y, Hongqi decided to send Xiulan back to her office. Though they have a driver, the SUV they are currently using is currenly earning a lot of road attention. They are currently using Hongqi's black Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

The shiny, black and huge car was just so blinding for the onlookers. People outside the car already had a hint that the people inside the car were big shots.
They were all trying to peep who's inside.

Xiulan sighed contemptuously before stealing a look at the person beside her. Hongqi who was busy typing something on his laptop and has that handsome frown on his face but time to time he will cheekily snicker like he received some good news.

Hongqi was busy reading Secretary Yang Bo's early report regarding their intimate innocent PDA last night and obviously it was a success plan.

The public portrayed Hongqi as the clingy husband and the type of husband that women are willing to obey whatever his requests are at night. It cringed Hongqi but still it was a good response.

While for Mrs. Xing, Xiulan was really annoyed all throughout their visit but in the eyes of the public she gave a shy and aloof impression. The usual cold beauty comments but fans and netizens didn't mind since she has all the right to be.

Just like what Hongqi said, their PDA last night has sweep the trending topics and it has surpassed the issue regarding Actor A and his involvement.

Hongqi was delighted by his successful plan. It only took Xiulan to get him from that bar and he managed to turn the tables again.

He warmly looks at the annoyed Xiulan who has now mindlessly looking at the passing cars. Out of nowhere, he endearingly brushed his hands on her cheeks.

Xiulan was caught off guard by Hongqi's sudden sweet movements.

"Oh my, what is it?" Xiulan panicked and held her face. She thought that she has a stain on her face that's why Hongqi reached for her face.

Hongqi grabbed her hand and brushes his thumb on top of her hand. Xiulan looks at Hongqi's face and he has that weird contentment in his expression.

"What a weirdo." She mumbled secretly.

"Nothing. You look really pretty today." He commented and kept brushing his thumb on her soft hands. "I should reward her." He silently thought.

"Uhm thank you…" Xiulan find it creepy that he would suddenly touch her face and hand like that. She made a quick glance at the driver and she saw that the driver was looking at them.

"It might be because there are other people inside the car." Xiulan mumbled to herself.

"Tell me what you want. A mansion? A new business venture? Sports car? A jet? Anything?." Hongqi began to spout arrogant offers while he endearingly looks at Xiulan. It really creeps her so much.

"Uhmm… anything?" She questioned. What if she says that she wants a divorce? But that would be too impossible.

"Yes." Hongqi happily said and even put his head on her shoulders. His laptop is currently attached to the car's laptop mount so it's fine if he moves around.

The driver in front coughed loudly by the sudden sweet gesture of the famed Xing Hongqi. The driver didn't expect such gestures. He never saw him this sweet with any woman before. For his seventeen years as Xing Hongqi's personal driver, the young master's behavior today is very odd!

Hongqi felt the driver's shocked eyes and menacingly glared at the driver. The poor driver immediately put his full attention on the road, scared that he will lose his job just because he's snooping on their private moment.

"Err… what about putting another exit door in my room?" Xiulan suggested. This is the only thing she can think of right now. Although her head is full of divorce but that's an impossible request. She must first make sure that there's a separate exit in that damn prison room.

"A separate door? Are you sure? You would rather pick that than luxuries?" Hongqi said and stared at Xiulan's eyes. He was kind of surprised by her random suggestion. He already laid the cards that women wanted in life but she prefers a damn door?

"Yes! What's wrong with that? I would like to avoid opening the door during your naked state, my dear husband." She innocently implied and gave a warm smile to Hongqi to somewhat convince him.

Hongqi suddenly thought of something naughty. He sat straightly and came closer to Xiulan.

Xiulan was so confused why he suddenly sat upright and also he's hogging all the space between them.

"I don't mind you walking in my naked state." Hongqi seductively whispered in Xiulan's right ear and she felt that hot breathe in the inner parts of her ears. This gave Xiulan a major goosebumps.

Due to her instincts to protect herself from unfamiliar feeling, she quickly hit his arms and angrily glared at Hongqi. "Hey! Don't do that!"

Hongqi sexily bit his lips to avoid laughing so hard. That surprise look on Xiulan's face was so adorable for him.

"Jeez, stop teasing me already." Xiulan complained. She's pissed ever since breakfast and this flirty man is not helping her current disoriented mood at all. She wanted to shout at him but damn she can't. Sometime soon, she will really nag at him. She just needs a perfect timing.

"Endure." There goes Xiulan's mantra again.

"Okay okay." Hongqi playfully uttered and sat quietly at his side. But time to time he glances at Xiulan's expression. His cute wife still has that beautiful frown on her face and he wonders what she's thinking.

"Is she planning how to kill me?" Hongqi playfully asked himself and grinned like it's the cutest idea ever.

Though the ride to Xiulan's office from Hongqi's penthouse was only a measly 2 minutes, it took them 20 minutes to get there since they have to fetch Hongqi's lawyer.

Hongqi's lawyer is almost the same age as him and they seem to be close friends.

Xiulan find it odd that Hongqi didn't introduce the lawyer's name and the nameless lawyer didn't bother introducing himself as well. He just sat there in the passenger's seat and started talking in monotone about some new CF deal for one of Hongqi's idol male group and how it will conflict to their upcoming music video. They might get lawsuits if they don't change that part of the music video.

Xiulan understands that there are things that she must not know, like for this instance. Though they are married now, they
must still have their own bubble.

Xiulan thought that Hongqi must not know that she's someone who is a highly respected in the dark web community. If he finds out about it, he might try to milk that as well. Good thing that Xiulan has been lowkey with her real and ultimate skills ever since.

Hongqi became very busy chatting with his lawyer that he didn't pester or delay Xiulan anymore when she got off the luxurious car. He just nodded and minded her about the three people who will visit her today and from now on.

The lawyer didn't put much attention on Hongqi's less affectionate persona, maybe he knows everything that's why, unlike the driver in front who has an obvious confusion on his face.

But for Xiulan, she was thankful that she didn't have to tolerate Hongqi's annoying side anymore.

Xiulan's whole day was unexpectedly full. The annoying callers who kept asking for help were persistent as always. Xiulan didn't have any extra time to help them that day so she moved her available time next three days.

Xiulan needs to be familiar with her new lifestyle in Hongqi's penthouse, that's the priority for now. She will be living like a damn celebrity from now on so it will take a real adjustment for a person like her who eats and sleeps like a normal citizen.

During lunch she met the sexy cold nutrionist, Bai Rong. This woman was a former pageant trainor but decided to continue her degree and be a nutrionist. She has a good reputation in her field and she is also Gong Yuming's nutrionist. Talk about bad luck.

Now that Xiulan found out that Bai Rong was also acquainted with Gong Yuming, she suddenly felt an unsettling feeling. She thought that there will be some bloody war between women soon.

Xiulan's also not sure if Hongqi did this on purpose to spite her or he just didn't know about the fact that Bai Rong is acquanted with Gong Yuming. Or maybe he just doesn't care as long as Bai Rong is good in her field.

By 5:30 PM, a gym instructor named Li Rong sent her a message that she'll be at the penthouse's gym facility by 7 PM.

Xiulan can't help but sigh at the gym instructor's message. She was not ready to be in any physical activity for now.

When she was in elementary, she used to take Taekwondo but her soft ankles got injured so she has to quit. Then she took Kendo for great concentration and upper strength until her junior high, but she got severely injured again on her right arm.

She thought that any physical activity are not for her so she opted to activities that doesn't do much physical stuff. But her knowledge on both sports still engraves in her.

"This is just some exercise stuff. No need to be afraid." Xiulan tried to cheer herself. She doesn't want to be injured again! Oh the hassle of having a cast for a whole month was not promising for her at all!

Xiulan didn't expect for Li Rong to be as sunny as her yellow sports bra. Unlike Bai Rong who was so bland like the food she serves, Li Rong was very bubbly and talkative. Same name but different personalities!

Li Rong plans to make Xiulan earn some nice abs so Xiulan can wear those expensive crop tops casually in the mall or anywhere. Then also for bikini time.

Xiulan understand that she might need some exercise now so she can wear bikinis again, she has been a glutton for so many years. Thankfully her stomach only created a small bump. But she doesn't understand the need to wear cropped tops! She doesn't like wearing clothes that air can easily put her in a cold stomach.

"I am telling you, Mrs. Xing. It's better to sweat more during gym hours. It's best for your health not just for physical appearance. Also, you don't want Mr. Xing to work hard during sexy times, right? Or do you prefer that?" Li Rong subjectively implied and Xiulan can't help but cough horribly at her statement.

After that mini TED talk and quick exercise session with Li Rong, she met Bai Rong again for her dinner time.

The cold Bai Rong serves two slices of papayas, one banana and one full bowl of pumpkin soup. She also blended a special concoction of berries and veggies.

Xiulan wanted to cry seeing her dinner. She was so tired already and the food in front of her was so sad to look at.

But nevertheless, Xiulan still ate it heartily. She was not an ungrateful brat but still it left a huge hollow in her stomach. She was still hungry!

By 10:30 PM, the fashionista and sophiticated celebrity stylist Wu Rong visited Xiulan for her pajamas. They all have the same damn name!

According to famous Wu Rong, a woman must be always beautiful even while they are sleeping. So she bought in a lot of expensive branded night gowns and pajamas.

Xiulan felt dumb seeing the night gowns that looks like someone can suffer a pneumonia.

"Who would want to wear lacey stuff like that while sleeping? Isn't it too itchy and cold?" Xiulan secretly mumbled. She felt the lace, it was soft and smooth but still she was skeptical about wearing so little clothing.

"I prefer the pajamas." Xiulan meekly said beside Wu Rong.

Wu Rong seems to be a patient woman and she only smiles and suggests happily.

Though they opted to pajamas, Wu Rong didn't confiscate the exotic night gowns and only put them in Xiulan's walk-in closet, that Xiulan doesn't know about.

Xiulan's walk-in closet is in the master's bedroom along with Hongqi's.

Since the stylist is not allowed to enter Xiulan's real room; all her clothes and jewelries, that were all newly bought, are in the master's bedroom.

Xiulan remembers that room has not existed this morning yet and now it magically appeared. Complete with branded clothes! Hongqi's money can really do wonders.

"I will come back tomorrow for your office attire. Young Master Xing told me that I must style you everyday to make sure that you will follow the right clothes to wear. You are now Mrs. Xing, everybody will try to look for information about your wardrobe or even the smallest hairpiece you have. Or even the glitter you will use for aesthetics. So I hope you will understand our efforts and most of all your husband's efforts." Wu Rong said while she organizes the hundred pairs of pajamas that she brought while Xiulan helps her.

Xiulan nodded and awkwardly gave a painful smile. She doesn't know why but she suddenly felt teary. Was it because she's tired from today's fiasco or being Mrs. Xing was just too troublesome? She never felt so overwhelmed and frustrated. She just wanted to quit. But how?
