Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband 16 Chapter 16 : Morning Ruckus

Xiulan never thought that she could still wake up so early in the morning even though she's tired from all the wedding activities yesterday.

It's only seven in the morning and yet she wanted to go to work. But then she realizes that she's on a three days vacation leave because of the wedding.

Xiulan sighed and thought that she should have brought her laptop with her so she can work on her new security surveillance system software. That personal project of hers has been making her crazy and busy for the whole month.

She lazily got up from the bed when she momentarily remembered that cunning Hongqi slept here last night.

That man made her whole body stiff because of their sleeping position. He was hugging her like a pillow and she was not used to such sleeping posture.

She immediately put her fighting pose and check the whole room if there's a foreign entity named Xing Hongqi.

Since she doesn't hear and feel any movements, she decided to take a bath and ignore his existence for awhile.

After taking a bath and changing to a gorgeous red floral maxi dress that has a slight slit that was prepared by Hongqi, she decided to look for that pesky new husband. She wore her glasses while looking for him since she's near sighted without it.

The imbecile didn't even left any note where he has gone to. He even forgot to bring his phone with him. He left it beside her phone.

While she was thinking where to find Hongqi, Xiulan was walking towards the elevator when she heard some adult women squealing like teenagers and were prancing in the hallway while being giddy and muttering "Xing Hongqi is currently at the gym!"

Xiulan squints her eyes at the excited women and followed where they went. Good thing she has a scarf with her so she can hide the lower half of her face while being sneaky.

When she managed to secretly followed them, she almost lost her balance when she saw the horde of women trying to fight the security guard in the hotel's gym.

"We are here to exercise and use the gym! Why are you blocking us?!" an infuriated woman with complete gym clothes and makeup said. Her hair is even done so professionally.

"Is she going to take a pictorial inside the gym?" Xiulan confusedly asked herself.

"Ma'am, the gym is currently occupied by Master Xing and his friends. He booked the whole gym for two hours." The poor security guard apologetically explained, again for the nth time. Xiulan bet that this guard has been bullied by these women since morning.

"My gosh, I want to see his sweaty state!" another woman shamelessly exclaimed.

"Damn this guard. I already bribed him ten thousand yuan to let me in yet he didn't even budge!" another woman with long manicured nails and bright blonde hair said.

Xiulan sweated seeing the warzone outside the gym. Good thing she has a scarf to hide her face. They might skin her alive for just being Hongqi's new wife. She shivered just thinking about it.

She immediately escapes the damn warzone and went to look for her parents and sisters.

While walking, she dialed her mother's phone number and asked where she was.

"I'm in the second floor buffet restaurant. We just got here. We will save a seat for you." Xiulan's mom said.

"What about Hongqi? He's still inside the gym. I don't want to fetch him since there so many women outside waiting for him. He doesn't even have his phone." Xiulan said and looked at Hongqi's phone in her hands. It kept on buzzing nonstop from all the notifications.

"Let him be. He's currently with some of his close friends from what I heard from the women here. Come now." Her mom impatiently said and ended the call without letter her say a word.

Xiulan's mom must not know that Hongqi slept last night in her room. Or else she's really gonna get a spanking from her. Just hearing her mom's sarcastic tone when she mentioned Hongqi slightly frightens her.

Xiulan was about to go back to where the elevators were when the women suddenly screeched and kept uttering Hongqi's name.

She glanced back at the horde of thirsty females when she saw a sweaty Hongqi going towards her direction with his handsome friends. At that moment, both their eyes locked with each other.

"Oh" Hongqi was surprised to see Xiulan there and wearing the dress he picked for her. Seeing her with a beautiful clean bare face with glasses, slightly wet hair and the tight maxi dress hugging her curves enticed him. His eyes suddenly have that naughty glow.

"Wife, good morning." He smiled and darted towards her. He swiftly put his hands on her waist then he kissed her temple. "Were you looking for me?" He huskily asked.

Xiulan was kind off taken aback by his sudden sweet gesture and his sweaty body. She slightly pushes him away a little to create a space between them. She doesn't want any of that sweat on her.

"Yeah, I was looking for you. Mom wants us to eat with them but you left your phone and I don't know where you were." Xiulan explained and she was getting conscious by Hongqi's stare and the look from the people behind them.

Hongqi smiled and silently thanked himself for forgetting his phone. He didn't have any intention in leaving it. He just really wanted to work out to get his thoughts away from Xiulan that morning. The woman was lying like a piece of meat beside him and he can't do anything about it. So he went to the gym instead since he didn't want to take cold shower at six in the morning.

"Okay. I'll just take a bath and we'll go." He nonchalantly said and pulled Xiulan closer to him again.

Xiulan put her hands between her and Hongqi and adorably ranted "You're sweaty. I don't want any of your sweat."

Hongqi laughed and teased her more by pulling her closer to him forcefully and gave a hard pressing kissing on top of her head.

Xiulan was so irritated by his sweaty arms and the way he held her waist. It kind of tickles her since the fabric of the maxi dress was so thin. She can feel the heat from Hongqi's palms.

When she was wearing the wedding dress yesterday, she didn't felt that much skin ship since the fabric was thick and has a lot of sequins, but right now she can feel everything!

The people at the back aggressively coughed to get their attention. Xiulan almost forgot about Hongqi's gym buddies and the horde of women.

"I know you guys are newly weds, but please don't be this sweet so early in the morning." I guy with blonde hair said and have very striking features on his face. He looks like a celebrity.

Hongqi looked at his friend and sneered. "I have to go first. I'll call when I have the plan sorted out." Hongqi said and lead Xiulan towards the elevator.

"Why are we taking the elevator? My room is in the same floor." Xiulan was confused.

"We're not going back to your room. I don't have any clothes there, remember?"

"Ahh… right." she nonchalantly agreed.

But inside, Xiulan grunted at Hongqi's demanding requests. She was so hungry but she can't do anything but to follow him.

While they were waiting inside the elevator, Xiulan noticed the very attention-seeking biceps and very masculine physique of Hongqi. The glistening sweat on his body made it more alluring and any person would take a second glance.

She was not fond of looking at men's body but she can't help but stare at it. It was kind of surreal to see something like that in person.

"You like what you see, wifey?" Suddenly Hongqi's annoying and teasing voice caught Xiulan's attention. He had an arrogant grin plastered on his face.

Xiulan annoyingly squinted her eyes at Hongqi using the reflection of the elevator mirror.

"It's been awhile since I saw some biceps like yours so near like this. Anyone would stare at it." Xiulan honestly said. Well she was caught looking, so why should she lie?

Hongqi's grinning face slowly becomes stoic and his tone changed "And who's biceps was that?". He even raised his eyebrows .

Xiulan also raises her eyebrows when she heard Hongqi's change of tone. It made her slightly confused.

"I don't know who they were but whenever I'm having my lunch at the university cafeteria or when I'm waiting for my friends anywhere in school, some random sporty guy with good physique would suddenly flex in front of me then would smile dashingly but at the same time creepily at me while walking away. " Xiulan innocently said.

Xiulan was oblivious of her popularity back when she was in university. It never occurred to her that she was like a goddess and muse for most of the male students.

Hongqi suddenly snorted and chuckled like he heard the most hilarious thing ever. Instead of getting slightly mad, he was relieved that his little wife is oblivious.

"Where they good looking?" Hongqi was still laughing while asking. He's trying to probe. He suddenly felt a weird urge to look into Xiulan's old photos.

"Hmmm... yeah they were. They were really popular to girls and they even have fanclubs. But it was really weird." Xiulan tried to remember those random scenarios from popular guys who flexed in front of her while she eats or breathe.

"Heh. No need to remember. From now on you can look at my biceps." Hongqi teasingly stated and he started to flex his biceps.

"Eh... I'm not interested." Xiulan gave a disfigured expression. She was not really interested to such things.

Hongqi suddenly felt a little frustrated. His cujtie wife is not interested in him nor his body. He realized that it'll be hard to woo Xiulan.

He must investigate this woman's secret desires. All he knows is that she's workaholic and loves technology.

Hongqi lazily looks at Xiulan and thought "I should tease her later to find out. Since it's morning and we both have energy. Might as well bring out the naughty Hongqi."
