Unexpectedly, Xiulan was able to sleep peacefully without any sexual interruptions from her dear husband. 

Add the calming effect of the air diffuser and Hongqi's warm cuddles made everything easier for Xiulan to enter dreamland. 

Hongqi didn't pester his wife anymore since he knew that her legs are really in pain from all the walking and sex. He's not that awful to not let her rest.

Since he can't do anything spicy tonight, he watches her sleep peacefully and kisses her blossoming, beautiful face while he cuddles with her.

At this rate, he's really in the deep ocean of love. He just wants to dote and dote her.

Regarding the meeting he attended with Mr. Sato, it only took a few minutes to talk with the said government official. Hongqi is a generous man. He immediately agreed to invest in the old man's business. 

He has a lot of money, why not share and help people who are in need? Also, Secretary Yang Bo already gave him a complete report of Mr. Sato's business and purpose of meeting him. He didn't find anything shady and the amount Mr. Sato needed was incredibly little. 

For Hongqi, the hundred million yen was rather small. He earns a lot each tick of the time. Millions of money enter his accounts. With so much money, he gladly helps people.

He might be a domineering person, but if he knew that a person deserves a chance to get this amount of money, he'll agree without any judgments.

The next morning, Xiulan's poor legs were five times more in pain. The pain reminds her of the days during the first warmup exercise for her volleyball gym class back in her junior days. 

The pain made her bedridden for a whole day just like what's happening to her right now. It's so excruciating and bothersome. She wanted to pee but moving her legs can be really agonizing.

The time she was struggling to stand up, Hongqi enters and he just came back from the gym. He was all sweaty and his natural body odor spreads inside the room. It was not pungent, rather it smells like a natural powdery smell.

"What the hell are you doing?" Hongqi watches his wife struggle in standing up. He was drinking in his water bottle while he reads the situation of his wife's struggles.

Since their room is decorated in a traditional Japanese tatami room, Xiulan can't find any objects for support. If she tries to put her weight on the walls, it will either tear or break.

"Hongqi, help me get to the bathroom." Xiulan raised her hands so her husband could pull her.

Hongqi drank all the water first before helping his wife. Instead of supporting her to walk, he carried her instead and left her inside to finish her private businesses.

He's not that insensitive to watch what she was doing inside the bathroom. He treasures bathroom privacy so much. 

"Call me when you need to go out." Hongqi raises his voice before closing the bathroom door. 

He went to look for his laptop so he could start checking the stocks of his businesses and invest if he finds any new ones. This is his best activity to kill some time.

Xiulan struggled a little bit inside the bathroom but she managed to endure excruciating pain and angrily mumbled to herself, "Damn, I will never walk that long ever again. I must learn how to control myself when it comes to visiting temples and shrines." She was such a history geek that it excited her whenever she sees cultural and historical heritages.

It took her almost one hour and a half to finish all her morning bathroom rituals. The pain was really agonizing to the point that she only wants to lay on her bed as quickly as possible.

When she came out of the bathroom, she was only wearing a white bathrobe and she must find clothes and underwear to cover herself. Another agonizing movement for her.

Hongqi briefly checked his wife while he types on his laptop and asked, "Are you finish using the bathroom?"

"Yeah!" Xiulan loudly answered. After a few minutes, she heard the bathroom door closed. 

While she's in the middle looking for underwear. She contemptuously looks at the leopard print lace underwear and bra she's holding. Such a naughty piece and she couldn't help but shake her head. 

It's the first time she saw one in person and she's even holding them. She never thought that such a thing could look erotic and this will really make any man drown in desire. She imagined that she will look like Lum from Urusei Yatsura [1]  by wearing this piece. It made her chuckle.

She quickly buried those provocative lingeries in the depths of the paper bags and took her time to look for a presentable and non-erotic design. 

She decided to take a rest today and stay in this room so wearing a naughty piece is not the best idea. 

She almost forgot that they were supposed to go to Disney Land today. But she made up her mind that their Disney Land trip can wait tomorrow. It's better to do it tomorrow so her energy will completely replenish.

When she finished dressing up, she went back to the bed and covered herself with the duvet. She badly wanted to rest and just be lazy.

When Hongqi came out of the bathroom, he was holding his phone and busy talking to someone with an angry tone. "Didn't I said that the while I'm on vacation, don't disturb me? As long as the contract doesn't look shady and will not cause us any future trouble, then it's fine without my go signal. Ask the company lawyers for advice."

Xiulan watches her angry husband and secretly commented. "Can he never be angry while talking to his employees?"

"Call Yang Bo if another issue like this comes up." He ended the call and savagely threw it on the bed. The person who called him was the chief administrative officer (CAO) of his entertainment company.

His company strictly follows a policy to always ask for his opinion if a multi-million contract was offered to them. People below him were only obediently following orders and policies.

"Hongqi, I decided not to go anywhere today. I really want to rest and just stay here. Let's go to Disney Land tomorrow." Xiulan loudly reminded him while he wears some clothes. 

When he heard his wife, he was in the middle of putting on the burgundy long sleeves from a famous men's wear brand. 

"Is it because of your legs?" Hongqi continued wearing it and looked at his wife to wait for her answer. If their trip today will be canceled, this might be the best chance to meet up that yakuza group that produces black market weaponry. He heard that professional assassins get their weapons from that yakuza group.

"Yep. My legs are really sore and I don't have the energy to endure them and be sorrowful in Disney Land." Xiulan explains. "By the way, can I borrow a laptop? Or rather, where's my laptop I was using in the Ling family inn? I would like to have a remote meeting with some of my employees." She added. This is the best time to check on her software engineers if they were doing their job properly while she's thousands of kilometers away from them.

She gazes at the peach-colored coat she pulled out a while ago and laid it on the foot of the bed. She will use this once the remote meeting starts.

Hongqi pulls out a newly bought gaming laptop box from the sea of high-end paper bags. "Sorry, your laptop didn't arrive yet. Apparently, it got mixed to a different flight. It may arrive this afternoon. But anyway, I asked Yang Bo to buy a new one yesterday." He opens the box and carefully pulled out the laptop and charger.

He handed the laptop to his wife and inserted the power cord in the plug sockets so that she doesn't need to stand up in case the battery runs out.

"Wow! This an expensive gaming laptop!" Xiulan fangirled a little bit when she noticed the name of the laptop version of a certain gaming brand. That laptop causes forty thousand yuan (USD 5.8k)! Only unthrifty people would waste money on that expensive ass laptop.

"I thought you might need a powerful laptop to use for work so I asked Yang Bo to buy the latest and most powerful gaming laptop," Hongqi explains and sat beside his wife. He watches his wife's gleaming eyes. He was happy that for the first time, he saw his wife happy from his gift.

He didn't expect that a cheap laptop could make her happy like this. Those millions of yuan he spent on pieces of jewelry didn't reach this type of joyous and genuine smile from his wife. 

"Thank you. I'm really happy." Xiulan charmingly thanked him and touches the laptop like it's been a long-time dream to have one. 

She can actually afford it but she doesn't have the heart to waste money on an expensive gaming laptop. She still prefers her monster desktop computer back in their presidential suite. The laptop she uses in her office was a mid-tier gaming laptop. She didn't experience any problems with it yet that's why she didn't upgrade.

Hongqi's heart fluttered from his wife's endearing reaction. He quickly cheated a kiss on her cheeks and tenderly asked her, "You'll be eating your breakfast here?" 

"Hmmm. I don't want to walk and go outside." Xiulan mumbles.

"Alright. I'll ask the servants to serve your breakfast here. Though, I might not be able to eat with you. Since the Disney trip is canceled today, I'm going to meet some dangerous people instead." He stands up from his seat and went back to the closet to pull out some trench coats.

"Dangerous people?" Xiulan curiously asked and made a frown. That sounds like trouble.

"A yakuza group that sells weapons." Hongqi simply answered and made an assuring smile at his wife that everything is safe. "It's for my security company. They sell the best stuff to professional assassins. I wanted to look and check them."

Xiulan didn't answer him immediately and only gave him a sharp look. Not all yakuza groups are villains these days. It's just that they were stereotyped to be troublemakers and criminal syndicates. Though they really have illicit businesses, still, it's rare to hear awful news about them.

After a minute of silence, she tenderly warns him, "You better be careful."

"My love, I have a lot of bodyguards and I know a little bit of martial arts." Hongqi arrogantly said.

Xiulan deepened her frown. She never saw him fight any people yet so she's not sure how good he was in man to man combat. But whenever she remembers that time during her terrorist mission, "When he got abducted by those terrorists before, he seems to be pretty docile. Can he really protect himself?" she secretly deduced. After all, her husband was a pampered rich child ever since. She's not sure if he ever brawled with anyone in his entire life. 

"No need to worry. It will be safe." Hongqi assured her again.

Xiulan was skeptical. She doesn't have any gadgets she could use here to track him down in case something happens. 

The new laptop doesn't have any installed tracking software too. She doesn't have the energy to hack into her own pc just to get the software. 

She could use the GPS from Hongqi's mobile phone, but what if his mobile phone got lost or away from him? This is bad.

Right now, she could only rely on manually hacking the CCTV from the nearby establishments. She just hopes that her husband wouldn't face any trouble today to save her energy from finding and helping him.
