"Whatever the meaning of that dream, I hope it's not gonna be a big deal." she lazily ruffled her hair and took a peek at her phone. It was already 2:20 PM.

She stand up to get herself ready. She took a fancy lavender formal coat and covered her house clothes. This way, she will look professional during her video call with her employees. She combed her hair and put a natural pink maquillage on her lips.

When she was done preparing for her remote video call meeting, she messaged her developer team to prepare their reports and get ready. She made a quick check on project backlog so she can be aware of what they already finished.

She spent the whole afternoon having a remote meeting with her developers and Secretary Dandan. There are a lot of incoming projects for next month and by then, she won't be in S city.

She'll be visiting the Ling family inn next month and she must leave a lot of tasks to her developer team before she leaves. She might stay there for two weeks or a month.

"Boss, I received a new project proposal from the marketing team. It seems to be an urgent and rush project. According to the marketing team, the client is willing to pay a hefty amount of money as long as our company will do the project. But before that, it seems that this project was put on bidding last week in the tech category of the black market. It has already reached the three hundred million Yuan bid but still the client wanted to offer it to us by one billion yuan." Secretary Dandan clamored. She was shouting since the staff near her were very loud due to this business proposal. They only received it half an hour ago and the staff can't stop talking about it.

Xiulan's eyebrows creases hearing Secretary Dandan's report. She sat back on her chair and quickly deduced who was in the right mind to offer one billion yuan on an IT project.

"Name of the client?" Xiulan was slightly intrigued who offered this ridiculous proposal. She didn't care about that one billion yuan, she was more concerned who would waste so much money.

Her company's services only offers an office system server, a point of sale (POS) system, attendance monitoring system and accounting system. These types of system would only cost one hundred thousand to five hundred thousand yuan.

"Wen International Group, boss."

"Ah… no wonder." Xiulan now understood why they are willing to give such ridiculous amount on money in her company.

"The Wen family sure has reached a milestone that they can easily offer one billion yuan." She silently mumbles. She knew very well that this one billion yuan project might be a plan for her to be part of the Wen family. They believe that she would be a Wen lady soon. They just don't know that if ever she divorces Hongqi, she will never get married to anyone ever again.

"Cancel their proposal. The golden offer is real but I don't want any of it." Xiulan savagely commanded.

"But boss… this is a good deal for us. This is a rare opportunity!" Secretary Dandan tries to persuade her boss. With this amount of money, their company could stay in the industry for hundreds of years!

"Dandan, the company doesn't have any financial problem or we lack funds. With the long project lineup we currently have, we really don't need that billion yuan. Besides, that huge amount of money could be a danger to us. It might be a trap or I don't know, something bad for us." Xiulan explained. Either it was from the Wen group or not, she wouldn't dare to risk. A huge amount of money means trouble.

"I… o… okay, boss. I understand." Dandan dejectedly answered. She got blinded by the amount and didn't think much of the bad side and consequences.  "By the way boss, did you know anyone from the Wen family? The CEO's secretary emailed me just now and referred you as the young miss."

Xiulan rolled her eyes. She can't believe that they are being familiar with her. She might be bestfriends with the youngest Wen and somewhat close to the madame, but to mention her as the young miss in a formal email cringes her.

"Yes,I know them. They are a family friend." Xiulan didn't try to explain any more personal stuff. There are only a few who knew about her close relationship with the youngest Wen. And those who don't know doesn't need such information.

"I see. I'll reply to their email now. I'll call again later. Is there anything you want to add, boss?"

"I'll keep track with the dev team and their backlogs. Just inform the HR and finance team to get ready for tomorrow's meeting and call for a catering service since the meeting for tomorrow might last for half a day."

"Roger that, boss." Dandan diligently listed all the things she must do today. Still she was still somewhat listless that her boss decided to reject a big offer. Oh well, her boss knew what's good and the bad for the company anyway.

After their call ended, Xiulan got up and went to refill her coffee. She only sat the whole time yet she felt fatigued and the stress on her shoulders has accumulated. She needs a good massage. The mental stress also caught up with her. With all the drama happening in the internet right now, everything seems to be challenging her.

While she waits for the coffee maker to finish its job, she almost flinched when she heard a loud thud on the marbled wine bar in the kitchen. She quickly turned her head to see who made such a loud sound and she was surprised to see her gym instructor, Li Rong.

"Oh! Why are you here?" Xiulan quickly went near her gym instructor and greeted her with a hug.

"Your husband's secretary called me to come here. He said to give you a massage and also to help with your breathing." Li Rong mentioned while she opens her huge gym bag.

Xiulan got flustered hearing the word breathing. "I can't believe he has to call you immediately just for this."

"Come, let's go to your room so I can start. Are you still in the middle of something?" Li Rong asked and hugged the oils she will use for the massage.

"I'll just drink this coffee and we'll go to the masters bedroom. I didn't know you offered such services." Xiulan put her attention back on the coffee maker and carefully tasted the hot coffee.

"I usually don't offer this kind of 'only massage' service to my clients since I only massage them during workouts that their joints or muscles are in pain. Your husband paid me so much just to do this so might as well receive the blessing." Li Rong chuckled. She quickly scanned the little wife of the powerful Xing Hongqi and she can't help but pity her a little. With that small body, how can she endure the vigor of her husband? She heard a lot of naughty things about Xing Hongqi.

Xiulan took five sips of her coffee before she led the way to the master's bedroom.

The massage time started and Xiulan was lying with her face downward. Her porcelain white back is exposed and her bum was slightly peeking.

Instructor Li Rong almost gasp seeing those menacing red marks on her shoulders and some were already fading. Either it was fading or fresh, this types of marks was slightly alarming.

"What the hell is he doing to his wife's skin?" Li Rong exasperatedly mumbled to herself. If her boyfriend did this type of marking on her, she absolutely would throw a fit.
