As the system spoke Tianlong started getting an uneasy sense of danger and started getting worried but suddenly the system started warning him about something.

[ Host must Defend the onslaught from the bandits till either the left, east, west or right force has broken through the bandit defense] with that message being said the system pulled up the map and with it the forces Tianlong split up appeared, and with it, the entire mountain was filled with danger symbols.

System: I wish host good luck with the mission!!!

Having no other reply from the system Tianlong got flustered and started panicking!!

Tianlong: calm down Tian it's just a mission what's there to worry about?

Soon Tianlong calmed down and started pondering the mission given and suddenly thought of something.

Tianlong looked around the fog multiple times and shouted ALL FORCES INTO A DEFENSIVE FORMATION!!! DOUBLE TIME!!! WE ARE SURROUNDED!!!!

When those words were said the soldiers started getting panicked but got into formation quickly.

Captain Hu: Why are we surrounded general!?

Tianlong looked solemnly into the fog where outlines of multiple figures appeared.

Soon a figure wearing a black cape and greyish black armor appeared and shouted.

Bandit Boss: As expected of a First-class general but you noticed too late!!! LISTEN BOYS SLAUGHTER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE LAMBS!!!!!!

Bandits: HAHAHA!!!!

Elsewhere on a different path Lu Lingqi and her 500 men marched. They encountered small guard groups of bandits like they weren't expecting to get flanked.

Though Lu Lingqi was new to leading it awoke naturally for her since she had an aura that would make one feel safe and protected but could be a demon like her father and brother!

On the left path Fu Chen had encountered at least 30 groups of bandits tiring out his men and had to rest but when he thought about Tianlong battling alone, he gathered the morale and pushed forth!!

Soon Tianlong and his unit of 1thousand fell to 700 and was falling rapidly but they still didn't waver in front of the barrage of countless bandits. Tianlong himself became a demon and killed any bandit who dared breakthrough which caused the center of the formation to stay stable.

As Tianlong sunk deeper in killing his men were dying and saying their goodbyes to him and their brothers.

On this sad battlefield, the sad cries of men saying goodbye echoed in the mountain and was soon heard by the other forces advancing.

As Tianlong lost himself in the rage of losing brothers that followed him since he joined the army didn't notice the notification from the system.
