His voice had barely faded when the devices that looked like launchers on both sides of the plane's nose suddenly lit up.
Light red glows condensed and emitted a 'bubububu' sound, followed by a roar as two pale red laser cannons were fired toward the sky pirates.

No sooner had he spoken than the Dragon Core Fighter's wings launched countless missiles, trailing fireworks as they shot towards the sky pirates.

But this time, the sky pirates had a countermeasure as well. At the front of each of their vehicles, a round hole opened up, shooting out a spherical red light.
Dozens of red spheres were fired in all directions. The many heat-tracking missiles immediately changed their targets, pursuing the red lights instead, and not a single one hit any of the sky pirates.
“A strong heat-inducing light bomb?”

He reached out to brace himself at the edge of the hatch opening and looked down.
From ten thousand meters in the air, the view was quite spectacular, and every so often on the ground, there would be strange structures the likes of which Xue Jing had never seen before.
Without a second glance, he leapt up, exiting the plane and arriving in mid-air.
His body turned in the air, relying on Core power, facing the Sky Pirates ahead.

From a distance, it seemed like a character from myths, wielding immense spells.
However, in terms of color, it looked more like a denizen of the demonic path, wrapped in Silver-white Thunder, resembling a Demon God.

With a single blow, as if even the void was split, the arc swept by the large saber exploded with intense winds, creating a vast vacuous crescent in the clouds. Within its range, several Sky Pirates, along with their flying vehicles, were instantly torn into fragments of flesh and machine.
At the same time, the other five arms of the Demon God also struck out, each with a spear, iron whip, big staff, sharp sword, and giant bow attacking the Sky Pirates around.
A pale golden Spear Glow swept across, the tip of the iron whip snapped with fierce sonic booms, the big staff shattered everything it touched like the legendary SeCalming Divine Needle, the giant bow predicted perfectly, each arrow shot down at least one Sky Pirate, and at most skewered three in a row like candied hawthorns.
Merely at the very first encounter, what seemed like a professional band of Sky Pirates cried out for their parents and wailed for help as they suffered heavy casualties. Debris and chunks of bodies rained down towards the ground like rain.

The remaining Sky Pirates raised various weapons they carried on their backs and fired madly at the black six-armed, three-headed Demon God.
All sorts of colored lasers and bullets struck the Demon God, and they had an effect. The Shadowflame Armor shattered, creating many wounds oozing with Dark Flame.
Seeing that their attacks were effective, the Sky Pirates got excited and kept firing continuously without pause.
But soon, someone noticed that the number of attacks landing on the Shadowflame Demon God was diminishing, and quickly only a few traces of shots remained.
A Sky Pirate looked at his side, puzzled.
Only then did he notice that of the dozen or so surviving Sky Pirates, only he and another person beside him remained; the rest had vanished.
As he pondered in confusion, a colorful spiral of fireworks traced past him at high speed.
The next moment, the only remaining companion by his side was grasped in the hand of a figure with Lightning Dragon Horns on his forehead and his body wrapped in crackling arcs of electricity.
The figure's slender hand tightly clutched his companion's neck, and with a snap, blood and fragments of flesh burst out, his companion's neck crushed to the thickness of sugar cane, killing him instantly as his body went limp.
The man just held the corpse of his fallen ally, floating slowly in front of the Sky Pirate, looking down on him from above with calm, Silver-white eyes devoid of any human emotion, only indifference and contempt.
“E…”, the Sky Pirate's mouth hung open, too terrified to utter a word, his trembling hands letting go of the gun, which fell towards the ground.
Not far away, the black Demon God dissolved back into Dark Flames and slowly disintegrated, revealing a pale golden transparent 'pilot' within.
Xue Jing looked at the Sky Pirate in front of him, curiously surveying his red cockscomb hair and the sunglasses embedded on his face, and slowly said,
“Your style is quite cyberpunk, but the technology level on you is lacking a bit.”
In a frantic bid for mercy, the Sky Pirate raised both hands: “Spare me, please spare my life!”
Ning Yuantai, on the plane, stared out the window at this scene, completely dumbfounded.
