I accidentally married a “CEO“ Chapter 2: Excuse me! are you available? (1)

Everything was set for the meeting until the translator canceled last minute. Jeff now had less than 24 hours to find a substitute. The agency promised that they would send one before 11:00 pm, but there was still no news from his assistant.

Jeff would typically stay home to unwind, but today he decided to go down to the nightclub below to listen to some music, and see how crazy Las Vegas was during the night. He called his assistant to inform him of his plan, then changed into a simple dress shirt and pants.

Jeff eased his way from the private entrance to the corner of the bar. One of his favorite hobbies was people watching; he hoped he wouldn't be interrupted.

He signaled for the bartender and asked him for a Long Island Ice Tea and a B-52 shot. He drank the B-52 in one gulp, then chased it down with the Long Island Iced Tea. Already feeling tipsy, he started to relax and enjoy the nightclub scene.

Ann and Lea were making a plan on how they can snag a "Fake Husband." It should be easy enough. Both of them are beautiful and sexy, just one look and a man would be salivating.

Lea is petite, 5'2", with blond hair and blue eyes, with measurements of 35-24-35 which make men drool when she wears a skin-tight dress, highlighting all her assets.

Ann, on the other hand, is 5'11", slim and tall like a model, with smooth and glossy reddish-brown hair, perfect light skin, and beautiful straight white teeth. Her smile alone can melt a frozen heart.

She never wore much makeup, just some lip gloss to highlight her kissable red lips.

For the plan to work, Ann let Lea do her makeup to make her look older than her eighteen years of age. She needed heavy makeup, very tight hugging jeans to highlight her long, beautiful legs, and a tank top to show a little cleavage.

Ann hardly wears tight clothes in her everyday life, but on this occasion, she listened to Lea's advice and wore them anyway. 'If this will help me find a fake husband, why not!' Ann reasoned with herself.

The two girls arrived at XS Nightclub located inside the Mega International Hotel and Casino. The line was very long. It's the only club in town that allows 18-year-olds, the only club they could get in.

The only problem is how they are going to get in the club with the long line ahead of them. The place is filled.

Luckily, the place had valet parking, and as soon as they got out of the car, the doorman greeted them and ushered them into the club. Their key to enter was their beautiful faces and hot bodies. They did not have to stand in the line, which made a lot of people who were waiting to get in very, very upset.

As soon as they entered the club, a couple of young guys approached them. They politely declined and went toward the bar to sit, waiting for their prey.

After less than a minute, Ann realized that someone was sitting next to her, a very handsome and tired looking man. He seemed to be in his mid-'20s, but his stern looking face made him appear much older.

Ann realized that the man sat next to her had ordered B-52 and long island ice tea. As soon as the B-52 was handed to him by the bartender, he took a gulp and followed it with the long island ice tea for a chaser...

Jeff had never been much of a drinker, but he needed it badly. One thing he didn't realize is chasing a B-52 with long island ice tea is not a very good combination, one too many and it will hit you very hard. Without realizing it, he turned and asked the girl next to him "Miss, excuse me! Are you available?"

'Is he talking to me?' Ann looked left, right, and even behind herself. 'I don't see anyone else nearby.' Ann thought to herself with a blank look on her face.

Ann turned around and looked at him with the sweetest smile on her face and said, " I may be? What about you. Are you available?

'Her smile; so beautiful! Her eyes... green like the most stunning emeralds, they're so deep I feel like I'm being dragged into the ocean unable to resurface.'

His heart was beating so fast *thump thump thump* he had to look away for a moment to catch his breath.

When he felt that his heartbeat steady he took another look at her perfect face, looked straight at her then said; "Yes!, I'm very much available." With the sweetest smile on his face.

Ann was speechless for a moment; she didn't know what to say after hearing Jeff reply. Her mind went blank, all she could think was 'Here is a very handsome, friendly looking man in front of me, how do I put it into words to ask that question?'

She decided to go for it and take a chance. "I need a husband, will you marry me?"

'No! I said that the wrong way, that's not what I meant." She took a breather first then continued; "What I mean is..."

Ann did not get the chance to finish her sentence; she was interrupted by Jeff.

"Sure! When do we get married?"

Ann was shocked to the core of her being. 'That's it? That was easy; here I am going crazy, worrying about how I will approach the subject and he just answered sure! When do we get married?' Now it was her turn to stutter, unable to find any words.

"You don't want to know why?" Ann asked Jeff.

"Alright, why don't you tell me! No matter what, my answer is still yes!." Jeff still staring at Ann's beautiful angelic face salivating.

Ann doesn't think it's right not telling him the reason why she needed a husband. She did not have a choice but to say to him the whole story from the beginning.

As soon as Ann finished telling the tale, Jeff knew right away that the CEO that she mentioned was none other than himself.

After carefully thinking about the consequences, Jeff came to a decision.

'I still want this girl in front of me, never in my whole life have I felt this way. Is this what they call love at first sight? If it is, I don't mind it at all.' Jeff smiled content with his thought.

Jeff didn't realize that Ann was watching him the whole time he was thinking and that she had seen the smile appear on his face while he thought.

Ann was now hesitant 'What if this guy is a lunatic and fervent. How can someone agree so quick without motive?' She stared at him for a moment contemplating. She was about to tell him to forget it ever happened.

"What! You're not going to change your mind, are you? Well, it's too late for that now anyway, we have a verbal agreement. It's as good as any signed contract. I can sue you if you change your mind." The man said it with a mischievous grin plastered over his face.

Ann was stunned hearing what he said. She thought for a moment then replied "No! No! That's not it; I came with a friend. I need to find them then we can go, alright!" She started looking around for Lea who was currently busy flirting with some boys.

'There's no way I will change my mind. I may never find the courage to do this again in this lifetime. You're my savior, and on top of that you're a fine specimen.' Ann began to laugh at her thought.

Jeff saw the smile she had; his heart kept skipping a beat. He put his hand to his chest, trying to feel how fast it was beating. *Thump Thump Thump* 'Stop, or I will have a heart attack!' He mumbled to his heart.

Ann looked around everywhere on the dancing floor, but there no Lea anywhere. "Lea, where are you?"

She tried calling first, but the music was too loud.' Lea probably didn't hear me, let me text her then.' Unfortunately, after a couple of minutes of waiting. Lea never called or texted back.

Lea was too busy flirting with the guy she was dancing with. She's so immersed with her dancing partner that she forget about Ann. And the reason why she was there in the first place.

It was starting to get late; Ann was still unable to find Lea who was busy somewhere else in the nightclub. She was beginning to get nervous. Her mouth is getting parched from calling for Lea; she needed a drink.

Ann was about to ask the bartender for a drink when Jeff handed her the glass right in front of him. Jeff thought she could use some spirits to calm the worried look on her face.

Ann gladly accepted the glass Jeff handed her and drank it in one gulp. Suddenly she started feeling tipsy for no apparent reason. The drink that Jeff gave to her was his long island ice tea.

Long Island Ice Tea is a potent mixed drink. It has various types of alcohol mixed. One glass for a non-drinker can get them drunk in a heartbeat.

Ann found the courage she never had before with the help of the alcohol she just consumed.

She looked Jeff straight in his blue eyes, smiled, then grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the nearest exit.

"Let's go, quickly! Before I change my mind."

It was like Jeff was hypnotized, lost in Ann's soothing voice. He followed her out of the club like a little puppy.

As they were heading to a late-night Chapel to get married, they both realized something simultaneously. "By the way, my name is Ann-Jeff." They had said it in unison and started laughing together over it.

"Nice to meet you!" Both of them said in unison once again. They looked at each other for a moment then started laughing out loud. The sound of their happy first meeting could be heard in the strip of Las Vegas in the middle of the night.
