I Became the Progenitor Vampire Chapter 313

Chapter 313: Chapter 315: The Army Approaches, The Beginning of Conquest (4000 words) Chapter 313: Chapter 315: The Army Approaches, The Beginning of Conquest (4000 words) Lide hadn't noticed the situation inside the Land of Bone-Burying and was unaware that the bizarre Cow Bone Undead was frantically gnawing on spider bones.

He turned his head and looked at the quiet cave, his brow furrowed tightly.

His men from the Blood-colored Blade had been scattered in there for so long, yet there was no movement?

This made him feel somewhat uneasy.

“Gaga, gaga! The great Lord Withered Bones has arrived, you lowly Cave Spiders. Are you prepared to welcome the arrival of Lord Withered Bones?

I grant you death in the name of the Tusk of Dawn City — the Dragon of Destruction…

Tremble, wail, for the great Lord Withered Bones is an eternal and invincible existence…”

Just as Lide was pondering, a strange noise from outside suddenly stirred the air.

Lide couldn't help but frown upon hearing that noise, this damned undead.

Bang~
Following the strange cries of Withered Bones, a massive tremor exploded as if a huge rock had fallen from the sky and struck the ground, causing the pebbles at his feet to fly up.

Boom~ Boom~
Just as Lide was feeling puzzled, a series of dull footsteps, like those of siege engines bombarding the earth, approached from afar.

When the footsteps came closer, a moment later the light at the mouth of the cave dimmed; a massive figure in astonishingly thick armor appeared at the entrance.

This colossal being resembled a giant poured from iron, his muscles bulging the armor outward significantly.

His dark gray armor was etched with mysterious silver lines reminiscent of ancient inscriptions, awe-inspiring to behold.

On his head, a bullhorn helmet partially covered a solitary eye that now carried a tyrannical ferocity capable of making one's legs tremble.

Level 16 Bronze One-eyed Giant — Cosso.

An ancient life that had crawled out from the Underworld.

A formidable being whose bronze one-eyed giant bloodline was activated by magic in battle.

Cosso, with firm steps, marched thunderously over to Lide, and then the gigantic figure abruptly knelt on one knee, pressing one fist against the ground.

His tall head bowed,
This Level 16 Bronze One-eyed Giant, at this moment, submitted to the king.

His voice, deep and resonant, echoed like muffled thunder in the cave.

“Great master, Cosso Thunder, at your command.”

A giant, standing seven blades tall, kneeling on one knee before a figure barely as tall as his thigh, created a strikingly impactful image.

But Lide's aura was sufficient to support such a scene; from a third-person perspective, it looked not only fitting but central.

It appeared that the figure, clad in a black mage robe with an air of elegance, was naturally the protagonist who ought to be knelt to and revered.

A born leader.

Lide looked at the Bronze One-eyed Giant he personally conquered and nodded slightly, a trace of satisfaction flashing in his eyes.

“Rise.”

“Yes, master.”

Once Cosso stood up, Lide slightly raised his head to look at the mammoth figure who could almost touch the cave ceiling and spoke in a grave tone.

“Cosso, the Underworld has been your home for hundreds of years.

“Do you know what could cause cave spiders that live underground to come to the surface?”

Cosso Thunder turned his head upon hearing this and glanced around at the mucus-covered surroundings, his massive single eye flickering with thought.

After a moment, the bulky figure shook his head, “Master, cave spiders are nest creatures, from birth till death they hardly ever leave their nests.

Only when two Spider Queens appear in one nest do they migrate.

And for them to come to the surface like this is almost impossible, these creatures fear light the most, when we hunt them, we prefer to use fire to drive them away…”

Just as Lide was feeling somewhat disappointed, Cosso suddenly brightened his eyes, as if he had remembered something, and hurriedly spoke up.

“Master, over a hundred years ago, there was a great disaster in the Mud Swamp, an Ancient Python that was about to step into the Legendary level went mad, annihilating numerous Demon Beasts.

At that time, countless cave spiders fled their nests…”

A Python stepping into the Legendary level?

Lide slightly narrowed his eyes.

“What happened to that python later?”

“It died,” Cosso shook his head, “That was an Ancient Python whose lifespan had come to an end.”

Lide regained his composure, his eyes flashing with deep thought.

“So, there could be two reasons for this abnormal behavior of the cave spiders, one is the division of the Spider Queens, and the other is the intrusion of a powerful creature causing them to flee.”

One cannot underestimate any piece of information, as it is crucial for exploring an unfamiliar world.

If it were the former, they only needed to deal with the cave spiders, but if it were the latter, he must be cautious in his actions before determining what level of creature caused the cave spiders to flee.

Although cave spiders are common underground, once they mass up, they are definitely a presence that ordinary creatures dare not provoke.

The quantity of them can make most intelligent creatures retreat, and the creature that forced the cave spiders to leave must be extraordinary.

Click-click–click-click–
While the two were conversing, a sound came from outside the cave, and a figure cloaked in a black cloak appeared in Lide's line of sight.

Under the hood, a faint Soul Fire radiated from hollow eyes obscured by the cloak, adding an air of mystery.

“Master, your humble servant offers you a modest greeting.”

Lide turned to look at the chatterbox skeleton, who had now returned to his original skeletal body.

As for the Bone Dragon, he had clearly placed it in the Dimension Space.

“Master, do you need me to scout ahead? Ha ha ha, the great Lord Withered Bones will surely make those weak little ones' legs tremble.

Underground creatures, hmm, it has been a long time since I tasted their souls…”

Without waiting for Lide's response, the withered bones turned his head towards the dark cave, his eyes flashing with excitement, and his Soul Fire surged.

“No need, wait for the army.”

Lide did not decline the request of the Level 18 Undead, as there were already enough people scouting inside; one chatterbox made no difference.

The scene then fell into silence, with only the withered bones muttering to himself inside the cave, but as the chatterbox dared not nag Lide, he was left talking to himself.

Cosso was as reticent as a sealed can, also not speaking.

After a Sunshine Hour.

Whoosh-whoosh–
The sound of wings flapping outside the cave woke Lide, who was still deep in thought.

He turned his back without paying attention to the other two fellows and walked out of the slime-covered cave. The scene in front of him immediately put him in a great mood.

The dense swarm of Magic Language Bats now resembled demons crawling out of hell, covering the entire sky.

Their strong, powerful legs boasted claws that could tear through steel, and the huge meaty wings in front featured ferocious barbs sharp enough to shatter the thick shields of shield warriors.

However, the Magic Language Bats weren't the main characters today; the main characters were the entities behind the bats–the Beastmen.

These Bloodline-specific troops soared in circles in the air, carrying thousands of Beastmen.

The Beastmen were universally tall and imposing, looking immensely strong and formidable in their full armor sets.

Whoosh–boom–
The first Magic Language Bat swooped down from the sky, its massive wings stirring exaggerated gusts of wind.

Ziiila–The Magic Language Bat landed on a grassland cleared of trees, its two sharp giant claws tearing through the vast swathes of grass, sending mud and blades of grass flying, instantly filling the air with the smell of mud.

The three fully armed Beastmen warriors on its back immediately flipped down, though each of them swayed, evidently somewhat airsick.

Under the command of the Beastman Governor, these armor-protected warriors quickly started to assemble in formation.

After the first Magic Language Bat unloaded its Beastmen, it immediately took off, and the second Magic Language Bat began its descent.

The Magic Language Bats carrying Beastmen numbered in the thousands, with each capable of supporting three fully armed Beastmen.

In just a few short minutes, more than three thousand Beastmen warriors appeared on this piece of land.

These green-faced, tusky creatures, extremely fierce and ugly in appearance, now in exaggerated numbers, were enough to chill one's soul.

And after the last three Beastmen warriors were unloaded, a Beastman rider with the head of a majestic lion and mane descended from the Magic Language Bat that flew to the ground.

His strong aura stirred all the Beastmen's spirits.

For that was their Beastman King–Level 18 Lion-man Clan Warrior Kapp Lion, the most powerful and invincible presence of the Lion Tribe, their protector, the clan leader they fought for.

But moments later, a scene that shocked all Beastmen occurred.

That Beastman King, with great influence and reputation in the outer regions of the barren wasteland, dismounted the Magic Language Bat and, holding his black armor and longsword, strode with firm steps to a Bloodline wearing a mage's robe with a handsome face.

His great sword deeply embedded in the ground, his right hand on the hilt, he kneeled on one knee.

The proud head of the never-submissive lion bowed down, as if the most humble servant before his sovereign.

“Your Majesty, Kapp Lion, brings three thousand warriors of the Lion Tribe. We will follow in your footsteps and battle for you until the last drop of blood is shed.

For Dawn!”

His firm and unshakable tone rang in everyone's ears, leaving the Beastmen utterly silent.

Lide lifted his head, his gaze sweeping across the area, then looked down at the Level 18 Beastman King Kapp kneeling at his feet and nodded slightly.

“Rise.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Kapp stood up, this robust Lion-man Warrior towering two heads above Lide.

Yet his imposing stature was far from as striking as Lide, who seemed to be the center of the world wherever he stood.

Some people are naturally born leaders, and Lide was clearly among the best.

Whoosh whoosh–
At this moment, a group of black dots appeared again in the far sky, gradually enlarging after a short while.

A group of Holy Light Bloodline flapping their bat wings, accompanied by Magic Language Bats clad in armor and loaded with alchemy bombs, flew together.

Among the most noticeable were over a thousand Bomb-carrying Magic Language Bats, each clad in Sky Cavalry Armor Number One.

No one knew just how lethal and dangerous a Magic Language Bat loaded with alchemy bombs could be.

Accompanying the bomb-carrying Magic Language Bats were the Magic Language Knights.

Each Magic Language Knight was part of the Sky Cavalry, consisting of a human Sky Cavalier and a lead Magic Language Bat.

The major difference between the Magic Language Knights and the bomb-carrying bats was that the knights did not carry alchemy bombs but instead had a huge crossbow fixed to the back of their bats.

This aerial crossbow, co-designed by the Magic Industry Research Institute, had already been developed to its third generation.

This aerial crossbow could fire 16 wrist-thick bolts in succession without needing to reload; the sharp bolts could even penetrate low walls, making it an unrivaled weapon in aerial combat.

The primary role of the Magic Language Knights now was to escort the alchemy bomb-loaded bats, preventing interception by enemy aerial forces.

Each had their role to play.

Huhu~
The Bloodline landed, while the Magic Language Bats and the Knights in the air continued to maintain their flying posture.

Their enormous silhouette completely covered the sky.

“Your Majesty, good day.”

Leading the Holy Light Bloodline was Dylan, a second-generation Bloodline who had loyally served Lide for over a hundred years, gracefully stepping forward to perform a chest-touching salute.

The second-generation Bloodline had now become a Crimson Hunter and was still in charge of the growing horde of Magic Language Bats.

The Bloodline standing behind him, dignified as if they were thousand-year-old nobles, formed a neatly arranged line; although it was daytime, and their condition was somewhat diminished, they still looked infinitely more formidable than even the twisted lines of Beastmen kept in line by a governor.

Dylan also noticed Cap sitting beside Lide and slightly touched his chest in respect to the Beastman King.

It was crucial to maintain sufficient respect for the powerful; Cap, level 18, had very few who could equal him in Dawn City.

Lide stood between these two, on his left was the freshly arrived level 12 Crimson Hunter, Dylan, and over 500 Bloodline members.

Of these 500 Bloodline members, 350 were Blood Mages averaging levels 8 to 9, a group of powerful spellcasters.

On his right was level 18 Beastman King Cap, whose entourage occupied a large area, numbering up to 3000 Beastman Warriors clad in Dwarf-forged armor.

These fiercely formidable warriors had survived the harsh barren wasteland, each a battle-hardened veteran, their bodies adorned with scars that spoke volumes.

Lide's eyes flickered upon seeing this scene; these were indeed his true right-hand men.

Looking up slightly, the sight of over three thousand Magic Language Bats obscuring the sky also pleased him.

Among the aerial forces, a thousand were clad in Sky Cavalry Armor Number One, each carrying the latest alchemy bombs from the Alchemy Factory, a bomber force.

They could easily become the nightmare of any ground-based tribe.

Of the remaining two thousand Magic Language Bats, a thousand were Magic Language Knights, these human-led bats bore the Magic Industry Research Institute's creation–the aerial crossbow.

This powerful and easy-to-operate siege crossbow could effortlessly shred a warrior's thick shield, making any aerial force pale in comparison.

Lide's gaze grew colder as he beheld his formidable army.

Since everything was in place, there was no need to wait any longer.

“Cap, Dylan, heed my command.”

“Your Majesty, Cap (Dylan) obeys your orders.”

Both men kneeled with a solemn expression.

This was one of the most solemn moments in Glory; during wartime, every military order issued required the chief officer to kneel to receive it, proving their readiness to complete the military orders at all costs.
