Had the Bloodline confronted them head-on, Lide was certain that even if they could claim victory, at least one-third of the Bloodline would fall.

Unfortunately for the giants, they had encountered him, the Bloodline with absolute control of the skies.

“Audis, take these one-eyed giants back to Dawn City.”

Lide nodded; these one-eyed giants were now his property, with great use for the future–no need to lose them here.

Audis looked strangely, eyeing the one-eyed giants' towering six-blade-tall stature, slightly vexed.

The Magic Language Bat could carry about 1000 pounds, and an adult one-eyed giant weighed a hefty 2000 pounds–not even two bats could carry one away.

“Use Mage's Hand,”

Lide said irritably, seeing that Audis remained silent.

“One Mage's Hand has a strength of 700-800 pounds; 4 Bloodline should be enough to move a one-eyed giant.”

The Underworld was a three-dimensional existence, with evil and powerful creatures potentially appearing below the feet or overhead.

“No, aside from a group of Kobolds, there are no strong creatures.”

“What's your experience of living in the Underworld like? Tell me about it.”

“Yes, Master,”

Cosso nodded, unable to defy Lide's command. After a brief contemplation, the big fellow began recounting his past in a very dry and uninteresting monotone.

Cosso lived in a very powerful One-eyed Giant Tribe — the Thunder Tribe, and he was the son of the previous chieftain.

The Thunder Tribe lived in a swamp, home to fearsome creatures such as Dire Wolves, goblins, Cave Spiders, and Ogres, all dwelling within the Underworld.

But the One-eyed Giants were the most powerful entities in the swamp; all evil creatures were their hunting targets.

However, good times didn't last long. Cosso's father, the One-eyed Giant chieftain who was close to reaching Extraordinary Rank, encountered a Black Dragon in the depths of the swamp.

The might of the Black Dragon was not something the not-yet-Extraordinary chieftain could withstand; his father lost his life.

After the Thunder Tribe lost its powerful Protector, it gradually lost its say in the swamp.

The Thunder Tribe prepared to relocate, but the decision to move required the chieftain's order.

Cosso fought his brother to contest the chieftain's position, and the result was clear; the wisdom-titled Cosso did not gain much in terms of combat ability.

He was defeated. Although not killed, he lost the right to remain in the Thunder Tribe. A tribe could only have one king, and Cosso was exiled.

After more than half a Sunshine Hour, Cosso drily finished recounting his experiences.

Although Cosso's introduction was very dry and not quite accurate, Lide could feel a huge and exciting world unfolding before him.

A wholly different Underworld compared to the surface world.

Cosso was like opening a window for Lide, beyond which lay a world rich in color and splendor.
