“Is this how you prove it?” Shen Yin stared at him in disbelief. Why was this man getting more and more shameless?
Lian Jing kept his expression cold as he grabbed her hand and slid it down across his hard abdomen, until she reached an area that was burning hot. He pressed her hand against himself and murmured hoarsely in her ear, “Shen Yin, for more than 20 years, you've been the only one who has used this. It will belong only to you in the future.”
“You scoundrel!” Shen Yin's face turned red. He made it sound as if she was begging for it.
However, the bitterness that had grown in her heart for many days finally dissipated after hearing his explanation.
No matter how much she wanted to misunderstand him, she had to admit that right now, he was really sincere towards her.

“Yes.”
Shen Yin lowered her eyes and admitted it.
How could she not like him?
No one was more handsome than him. No one else would risk their lives to save her again and again. Whenever she needed him, he would always turn up.
She had liked him for a long time, but she had stubbornly refused to let him know.
Satisfied that he had gotten the answer he wanted, Lian Jing happily deepened the kiss.
As the water poured over them, Lian Jing finally experienced the closeness of two people in love. It was an indescribable joy.
When the two of them finished tidying themselves up and returned to Shen Yin's room, Shen Nian was sitting on the bed and reading obediently.
Shen Yin smiled and hugged her son. “Nian Nian, it's time to sleep.”
“But Nian Nian hasn't had dinner yet.” Shen Nian rubbed his stomach aggrievedly. He felt indignant when he looked at the satisfied Lian Jing.

Lian Jing stood on the stairs and glared at Lian Meng.
Lian Meng did not dare to make anymore mischief. She had no doubt that if she dared to tease Shen Yin again, Lian Jing would kick her out of the house tonight.
After the family had their fill, they returned to their rooms to sleep.
Lian Jing followed Shen Yin and Shen Nian into the room. The three of them lay on a spacious bed, which did not feel crowded at all.
Shen Nian slept in the middle. His small hand clutched Shen Yin's sleeve uneasily. Lian Jing insisted on placing his arm on Shen Yin, even though Shen Nian was between them.
This clingy father and son amused Shen Yin.
Shen Yin had a good night's sleep. When she woke up the next day, she saw Lian Jing and Shen Nian in the same posture, with their heads propped up and their bodies turned sideways so they could watch her sleep.
She sat up abruptly in shock. But when she saw the smile in their eyes, she realized that they were playing a trick on her. She pretended to be angry and glared at Lian Jing. “Nian Nian is six years old. How old are you?”
Shen Nian smiled and looked at his embarrassed mother. He said with a smile, “Dad said that he would send me to school before sending you to work. I'm six years old. How old are you, Mom?”
“How dare you talk back?” Shen Yin smiled and ruffled his hair. She bossily pointed in the direction of the washroom. “Hurry up and wash up. If you're late, I'll spank you!”
Shen Nian skipped to the washroom. Only then did Lian Jing get up and hug Shen Yin. He placed his big head on Shen Yin's shoulder and sniffed her unique scent. He gave her an infatuated smile and said, “Your job is too dangerous. You should stick with me every day. I'll give you Zhong Xin's position.”
Shen Yin raised a finger and pressed it against his forehead. She pushed his head away and said seriously, “Don't even think about it. I told you long ago that being a forensic pathologist is my favorite profession.”
