Someone kicked open the ward door and it crashed into the wall.
Shen Yin struggled out of Lu Chen's arms in horror. A chill ran up her back. She turned around and saw Lian Jing standing at the door, exuding a murderous aura as he gazed at them coldly.
She stood up with a whoosh and looked helplessly at the furious Lian Jing. She wanted to explain, but he swiftly strode in, grabbed Lu Chen's collar, and punched him in the face.
Lu Chen hurriedly dodged. The iron-hard fist brushed past his cheek, and his ear immediately burned with pain.
He gritted his teeth and frowned. He was furious, but when he saw Lian Jing's fierce face, his fist froze in midair.
“President… President Lian?”
He looked at Shen Yin and then at Lian Jing, who was staring at him. His mind went blank, but before Lian Jing could land a second punch, he suddenly regained his wits and hurriedly pushed Lian Jing away and fled.
