Marquis 'Chris' hugged Nedrick's corpse. He backed up and shouted, "Nedrick Blackstone had committed regicide by poisoning the King. He only wanted the throne. The real Black Lava Nation's King is over there!"
The soldiers who were at the base of the city walls found themselves looking at the previously dead second prince. He had been miraculously revived!
The prince slowly walked with his 300 personal guards, and a large group of nobles followed him. Count Curry was within the group of nobles.
All of the royal guards grasped their battleswords tightly as they swallowed hard. They looked at the dead Nedrick and the second prince who walked towards them. Then, the royal guards looked at each other before they knelt on one knee, "Your Highness, second prince…"
The group of nobles looked grudgingly at the royal guards as though they were hinting at their ineptness. The criminal who committed regicide had perished. Now the second prince was the real King.
The young second prince shook his head and said in a deep voice, "I feigned death so that I could collect evidence of Nedrick poisoning the King. I had all the evidence but I didn't expect Marquis Chris to be so impulsive as to kill the regicide."
At this point in time.
The second prince sighed as he gazed at the Black Lava legions. Their morale had been badly shaken. He said solemnly, "We'll have to be mindful of the situation first. It's not time to show my evidence. Please give me a helping hand."
Subsequently.
He used his battle energy to shout, "I'm the King of the Black Lava Nation. I'm invincible. Kill them!"
His voice filled the entire battlefield.
100 of his 300 personal guards charged up the city walls…
When they charged up the ramparts…

After the 100 personal guards had finished killing, only corpses were left everywhere.
When the enemies slashed their weapons on their bodies, there were only sparks that indicated damage to the battle energy. But the armor was intact.
These were 100 flaming warriors. They looked like grim reapers claiming their victims and were almost unstoppable!
The royal guards were shocked by the scene. They hesitated for a while before shouting, "Black Lava King, you are invincible!"
William's duel with Goethe Nasis was uninterrupted.
William's sneak attack had landed a serious injury on him.. But his opponent was not yet defeated…
Goethe Nasis received the signals from his legion commanders before they perished…

The legions in the secret tunnels, all of them had been destroyed…
Goethe Nasis was sure he was winning because he had sent a few legions to attack the legions of Black Lava Nation at their backs. Then he would open the city gates and charge out with his main forces to eliminate the enemy. Victory would be his.
But the tunnels were blocked. Some earth element mages set up a trap and cut off their retreat route.
He had lost four legions…
They had been buried alive in the tunnels…
"MD, misfortune had befallen the legions. They were wiped out…"
Goethe Nasis could not imagine how the enemy could know of his brilliant plan. He had no idea who spoiled his plan.
As such.
The tide had turned against the Iron Nation. Goethe Nasis chose to flee.
But William didn't let him go and pursued him.
Both of them arrived at a ruin filled with huge rocks from the catapults. The walls were slanting at a dangerous level. They were almost falling apart.
Goethe Nasis slowed down his pace. He lifted his head to look at the 100 unstoppable fire element warriors.
Then he understood.
The crux that turned the tide was William.
Even the collapse of the tunnels was planned by the Lord of the City of Dawn.
He could not stop laughing at himself. Then he said, "Remove your illusion. The Black Lava Nation doesn't have such strong fire element warriors. They are Dragon's blood warriors."
"Oh?" An unfamiliar soldier with common armor laughed. He ignored Goethe's words and charged towards Goethe.
In this instance, a huge object broke through the ground. It was a huge black hand that was as large as a hill.
William felt a sense of danger and backed up immediately.
The black hand did not grasp at William. Instead, the hand clasped at the laughing Goethe Nasis.
As the huge hand was about to drag Goethe Nasis into the ground, he looked maliciously at William as though he wanted to imprint William's face into his mind.
It was a frightening gaze that made a person break out in cold sweat.
The black hand took Goethe away and they vanished.
The soldier William was bewildered. He recognized the hand. It was the devil's hand!
"What the f**k?"
"Goethe was not at his last breath!"
"I've only sneak attacked you twice. The wounds were not fatal…"
"What kind of a move is that? Is that a sacrifice to the Dark World in order to flee?"
"Let's see how good your relationship is with the devil, in order for him to free you."
William looked very grave as he vented his frustrations.
He remembered Goethe Nasis in his previous life. Though Goethe Nasis possessed the dark battle energy, he perished at the hands of the devil. They seemed to have a certain relationship or agreement.
According to logic, that was a high price to pay for an agreement with the devil.
But the scale of the Darkness invasion was limitless.
The things that the devil wanted were countless. Goethe Nasis wanted to enjoy his power so he turned against the devil.
He might not be corrupted by the Darkness even if he made a deal with the devil.
Perhaps, the deal was only to make Goethe stronger.
But his escape indicated that he had fallen into the Dark World.
"I'll have to fight one more nemesis when the Darkness invades…" William pondered deeply for a moment. He surveyed the city that was almost occupied and decided not to stay here. Since the victory was his, he had to manage the aftermath.
William left immediately and he started thinking. The scale of the invasion of Darkness was massive in the second version. It involved the nine continents!
It was a super huge version that included all the global players, NPCs, and living things!
All continents, regions, and cities would have villains who would bring in the Darkness invasion.
"What shall I do? Are Goethe and Makhu Redd going to cause the Darkness invasion? Isn't the southeastern region going to have a greater calamity?"
Makhu Redd was the mastermind who started the Darkness invasion in William's previous life.
William had encountered him twice within a short period of time.
But both times, William did not have the chance to kill him.
"I have to develop the City of Dawn at the quickest pace. The Darkness invasion… is only the starting." William clenched his fists tightly. In this Gods' world many calamities took place, and even legendary NPCs could perish any moment.
"But I'm destined to be the King!"
A conspiracy was a conspiracy. He could not divulge all the things that he had done.
A lot of people would perish in this conspiracy war. Even till their deaths, they would not understand the conspiracy…
But there were famous words for these people who died.
Nobody would know the names of the perished but their deeds would be recorded in history.
