The players' tactics were not effective.

Since the players were without their equipment, their combat power had been dramatically reduced. Even if they got close to the Orcs, they were no match for them.

The players did not complain much about Chu Liuqiu's tactics.

In Gods, there were two modes for combat. The first one was battlefield mode and the other was normal mode.

When there were more than 3,000 combatants, the game intelligence would activate the battlefield mode. The penalty for death and the damage rate of the equipment were halved. The players were able to revive at the location of the army flag so there were not many losses.

Normally, if players died, they would get downgraded by a level. But in this mode, downgrading only took place when they had perished six times.

The players cursed the Orcs, and were forced to organize an effective attack on the enemy.

William did not give any directions to the players on the battlefield.

Hence, Chu Liuqiu was nominated as the commander-in-chief.

The major guilds of the City of Dawn consisted of Glory, Blade, Misty Rain Pavilion, Righteous Sprout, Naturally Foolish. The city also had some small elite groups of players.

Chu Liuqiu surveyed the guilds and the group leaders. He frankly said, "The five large guilds have the most members. We'll form five lines of assault to maximize the chance of a breakthrough. We'll create the greatest pressure at these five locations. You will decide how to charge and in what formations."

The Glory guild leader said, "No problem. Though there are more rewards for more deaths, we shouldn't let the NPCs treat us as cannon fodders. We have to buck up."

The other guild leaders nodded in agreement.

Chu Liuqiu pointed at a few group leaders. "Razor League, Bloodshed, Grand Deity, I've heard of your fame and we've previously met in the other game. I didn't expect to meet you in 'Gods' and be allied to the same City of Dawn. This seems like fate. Hope that we can cooperate well.

"Though your guilds have very few members, your capabilities are extraordinary. I suppose you all have silver or even gold quality weapons?"

The first two guild leaders nodded, but the third leader, Lucky Dream, who was wearing gold-quality armor frowned. He did not wish to respond.

What was the Grand Deity group composed of?

They were a group full of super-rich players.

"Lucky Dream, are you looking down on us?" Even though he heard them, Lucky Dream refused to respond. He glanced at his twenty members who were all wearing gold-quality equipment.

Nobody dared to join the Lucky Dream's team if they did not have gold-quality equipment.

Lucky Dream was the leader of the Grand Deity group so he was the richest of the rich. He even had the preparations to purchase a dark gold weapon.

"That's good. Grand Deity group will attack this enemy position alone while Razor League and Bloodshed will follow the Glory team. Get some good battle results." Chu Liuqiu was glad to see the three leaders approving of the plan.

But the rich players in the Grand Deity group were too arrogant and did not want to cooperate with other groups. They preferred to act as they wished.

The Razor League and Bloodshed were elite groups. Though they had rich players, they still had respect for Chu Liuqiu.

There were five long lines of assaulting players. The shield-bearers were placed in the front to mitigate the damages from the heavy crossbows. The formation was no longer the previous cannon fodder rush.

The players had an effective defensive formation. When the heavy arrows arrived, they could only penetrate a few shield-bearers before losing their power. The players behind the shield-bearers could not be affected by the arrows.

Two groups of elite players made use of opportunities to assault the Orcs.

The Orcs were caught off guard.

It could not be helped.

The low fortification walls were hastily constructed. The players could climb up easily using their hands and legs. Siege ladders were not required.

Especially when there were overwhelming numbers of the chosen ones…

There were many ranger players who fired battle energy arrows into the air. The arrows did not seem to inflict too much damage on the Orcs…

But the Orcs' battle energy shields were being slowly depleted, and their battle energy diminished rapidly.

Arles knew what was happening. He was not complacent. The chosen ones had mediocre combat power, but Arles understood that they were using the power of overwhelming numbers to crush the orc.

He shouted new orders. "Let the elite Orcs go to the front and prevent the enemies from breaking our lines. These chosen ones are trash. The Winged people and their Lord William have not started their attack."

Arles would not be making his move, until he encountered William or the leader of the Winged people.

The other three Orc legion commanders, too, were biding their time.

Angry Fatty did not participate in the battle. He had chosen a high vantage point and was capturing a video of the battle.

The players' assault lasted for an hour.

They sustained massive casualties, but they made sure that the number of their individual deaths did not cross six. They would not get downgraded.

With the continuous assault of the five large guilds, Chu Liuqiu and Luck Dream's group overcame the enemy's fortification and harassed the Orcs.

Though they were not the match of a middle-level Orc, they inflicted 1,500 casualties on the Orcs.

"Reinforcements. The Orc's reinforcements are here!" Someone spotted two Orc legions from far. They were the elite Orcs with blue and silver-quality equipment. The players gasped in shock.

Drumbeats filled the entire battlefield.

Two Winged legions transformed into silver streams and assaulted the Orcs!

Meanwhile.

William transformed into lightning and sped through the battlefield.

A punch was thrown.

The main gate of the Orcs was breached!
