Holy Akashic Conqueror Chapter 178: Discussion about expansion

"How is the rate of Evolved Zombies compared to normal ones?"

"One in million normal zombies would be able to become Evolved Zombie. Basically, they need a lot of Life Force to devour to evolve, and they are devouring either humans or other zombies.
