Holy Akashic Conqueror 99 Press Conference

The Washuu Clan has used a large part of their deep-rooted power in managed to convince the Japanese government to help the CCG with promoting entering the CCG and becoming the ghoul investigator. Lucien also sent the letter to the Tsukiyama Family and informing them about the current state of the Washuu Clan and their intentions to wipe them out and prepare.

Head of the Tsukiyama, Tsukiyama Mirumo being an intelligent man, knew what to do and he was using the power of the entire family and conglomerate to put pressure on the CCG and the Washuu Clan. Even though the Washuu Clan was deeply rooted in Japan, Tsukiyama Family was extremely wealthy, more than the Washuu Clan and also they had the support of the Aeon House and their financial and political network.

Thanks to this, CCG was lately under huge pressure, which resulted in the loss of almost half of potential recruits and a large part of funds that were given to them by the government. Tsukiyama Family were aware of the Aeon House as they were also very old ghoul family and were related to the Rosewald Family, which was a German noble family, who were ghouls who infiltrated Germany.

Lucien also got an invitation from the Tsukiyama Mirumo for the Christmas ball, on the 23rd of December. It was gathering of almost all influential ghouls in entire Japan and Asian Countries. Lucien thought it could be fun and he could also get some help for the Aogiri Tree as many of those ghouls hated CCG and similar organizations to the core and used every chance to deal them some damage.

Soon, TV News started and moderator started announcing news, with the first one being the 11th Ward Battle and Cochlea Raid.

"In the evening of the December 19, the 11th Ward Special Countermeasures Unit began its assault on Aogiri's base, however, the assault was halted by the Aogiri ghouls heavily armed with firearms and heavy firearms. Lucien was surprised that they didn't say even word about Zelilios being the killer of the Special Class Investigator Shinohara Yukinori. Probably the Washuu Clan knew the identity of the killer kept it for themselves. After a short break, news continued.

Then all cameras were only on the Washuu Yoshitoki who slowly started talking.

"11th Ward Battle was a disastrous loss for the CCG and it was a despicable trap from the Aogiri Tree terrorists to kill humans and eats them. The entire staff of the Cochlea Detention Center including all civilians were slaughtered mercilessly, leaving none alive. Lucien was surprised at how much of truth were they telling. But it was ironical that the Washuu Clan members were talking about humanity and slaughtering humans. Next, he was talking some nonsense about loses and grave situation. Lucien knew what was their aim.

After the suppression of the various groups and even government which came like lightning from the clear sky, on the next day immediately after the event, they suffered greatly. Now they are trying to get public on their side. Very clever move, very clever but Tsukiyama Family won't be doing nothing seeing this and they would manipulate media to pressure them too.

Next half an hour Washuu Yoshitoki was appealing on the public to motive them to unite against the evil ghouls and join the CCG in their sacred mission of annihilating ghouls and protecting the civilians. Truly funny.

The entire press conference took around an hour and after answering some very unfriendly question, all of those journalists asking those questions were paid by the Tsukiyama Family to do an image of the CCG and the Washuu Clan worse in the eyes of the public. In current situation was rather easy. Lucien was wondering what would be situation tomorrow when all settled.
