Holy Akashic Conqueror 98 Fortified

After Lucien said some philosophical quotes, he left the place and went to the Helter Skelter Bar. He left with great speed as he Itori was already waiting for him there and Holy Imperial Knight Zelilios was also there waiting for his return.

Eto remained there for an hour even after Lucien left, thinking about his word and meaning behind them. She observed the 24th Ward and ruined state of the place. She hoped that in the future, entire 24th Ward could be reconstructed to be a safe zone for all ghouls and be a fortress for the Aogiri Tree.

Itori was drinking her blood wine and tried to get some information about Lucien from Zelilios who was sitting there with closed eyes as he was meditating and ignoring her attempts to gain some information from him. He was tasked with her protection, but now it was also too much on him as she was already talking non-stop for several hours in a one go.

He knew that she was trying to know more about Lucien, but he wasn't in position to tell her something, even though technically her social status was higher but as Holy Niflheim Empire placed everything in capabilities and personal strength and cultivation, her status wasn't that high even though she was Crown Prince's soon to be wife.

After some time, she was still talking but less than before because she noticed that Zelilios won't say anything to her. When Itori was sipping her blood wine and Zelilios was meditating, doors opened and Lucien was already here.

Zelilios stood up and bowed lightly to Lucien.

"Welcome, Your Highness."

Lucien nodded and made a simple hand gesture and Zelilios then stopped bowing.

"Zelilios."

Then Lucien went to the Itir and after a light hug, all of them sat down and Zelilios started talking about the 11th Ward Battle and who was killed by whom.

"I have personally killed Suzuya Juuzou and Special Class Investigator Shinohara Yukinori. Lady Itori killed Associate Special Class Investigator Chino Mutsumi. In conclusion, many of ghoul investigators died and even more cannon fodders of the CCG were killed by firearms and explosion of the building. They literally lost more than half of their forces."

Summarized Zelilios recent event, the 11th Ward Battle.

"Good that you have managed to kill Special Class Investigator Shinohara, he was one of the stronger one's Special Classes. It is a bit shame that Kuroiwa managed to escape with his life but so be it. Even loss of one Special Class Investigator is a disastrous blow to the Commission of Counter Ghoul."

Even though it was a bit sad for Lucien that Zelilios didn't manage to kill Special Class Investigator Kuroiwa but even loss of one Special Class was terrible. They were Special Classes, they didn't grow up on trees. Another thing was also fact that Shinohara was one of the stronger Special Classes, as they were also some of them who were far weaker than him.

"Zelilios now I have another task for you. Go to find Darkwalker and tell him that time to reconstruct the 24th Ward has begun. Mobilization of Liberatus has been approved and they could start in one week. I want to have all exits to be fortified and those unused or strategically bad should be sealed properly. Even rat won't be able to bypass it."

Liberatus was, in reality, a smaller army of ghouls who were sympythiísant of the Aogiri Tree all around the world. They numbered in hundreds, but they lacked strong ghouls to lead them, they only had three S-rated ghouls. Lucien was controlling Liberatus for some time already through Dalkwaler. Now they would integrate with the Aogiri Tree, creating even more organization and would help in the fortification of the 24th Ward.

Zelilios nodded as he answered. He was aware that this was the last thing that would Sacred Devourer Ghoul even do for ordinary ghoul kind. Giving them 24th Ward in form of giant fortress city.

"I would bring there half material required for the complete reconstruction and fortification through my Cross Crest. Maybe even more than half. Rest you could buy on the black market, they would care only for the money."

Lucien planned to get all material thereby himself as it was much easier and it would be without any suspicion from the side of the CCG. He could also get the help of the Tsukiyama Family as they were also ghouls and merchants.

Lucien talked to Zelilios about few more thing before telling him to go attend his duties and he remained here alone with Itori.

"So how was your first grand battle, my dear?"

Asked Lucien gently as he sat beside Itori and stroked her orange hair. Itori cuddled to his chest, using him a pillow.

"Very good, but next time I want a more an important role."

Lucien nodded and kissed her at her cheek and smiled at her answer, thinking it would be impossible for now as she wasn't strong enough. Even, he himself was evenly matched with the Grand Elder of the Washuu Clan, Washuu Tsunekashi. Lucien didn't know if the Washuu Clan had more people with similar strength or not, so it was dangerous to leave Itori fighting as she wanted.

Itori probably knew that too but she didn't say anything and they just enjoyed the company of each other. Lucien was planning to let Zelilios participate in all fights in the future and also in some of his future attacks on hidden facilities of the Washuu Clan.

Tomorrow or the day after, CCG would inform the people about the situation probably as they won't be able to keep it hidden from the rest of the world for too long. Not talking about the fact that the situation is now rather bad and grave. They lost too many people so they would try to recruit more new people into the Academy.
