Holy Akashic Conqueror 63 The Valley

It was already two days after he entered the Kunlun Mountains. Nothing else than snow could be seen here. Lucien was currently walking through some paths and he was literary following his intuition in his pursuit of forces from Washuu Clan.

Even though it was very cold here, cause it was constantly snowing and wind blowing, Lucien was fine. He was baron ranked Sacred Devourer Ghoul so this kind of temperatures was nothing to him at all. He walked through the passaged and various mountain passages.

When the weather was worsening he would always go to his Cross Crest to wait there for the end. Also, he was sleeping in the Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory as it would be stupid sleeping outside when he was carrying with him an entire luxurious floating fortress.

Lucien walked through this passage for several hours until he saw that sky was darkening and the wind was getting stronger and colder. He knew that snow storm was coming this way and he must go to hide inside his Cross Crest. He wondered how were able forces of Washuu Clan survive in such a hostile environment. But he thought they were better equipped and prepared for this situation than he was. They planned it longer and he knew that this must be planned for a long time and personal order of Washuu Tsuneyoshi only started the operation.

On the other side, Lucien only knew about it for one or two days and it looked like that too. He was without any preparations and so. His only preparation was parting with Itori, Eto, and Uta. That's all. Maybe giving orders to Darkwalker and his bunch of mercenaries.

With a though, Lucien disappeared from the Kunlun Mountains and returned to the Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory. After he disappeared the weather continued worsening and snowfall was getting much denser and stronger.

After Lucien returned to the Cross Crest, Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory, the first thing he did was going to the bath. Even though the cold in the Kunlun Mountains was doing nothing to him, it was still a bit uncomfortable being in that kind of weather for several hours in a row.

The bathroom in the Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory could be called only by one word. Monstrously oversized. Maybe better said than bathroom it would be a spa. There was even onsen there, huge pool and other facilities that could be used. Lucien took a shower before going to the hot spring. The onsen was Japanese hot spring, the term also extends to cover the bathing facilities and traditional inns which were frequently situated around a hot spring.

Lucien's onsen was outdoor and was created in Japanese style. He sat down in the onsen and enjoyed the feeling of the hot water all over his body. He looked at the sky, more precisely at the myriad colors of countless dimensions. Here in the Cross Crest and Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory there wasn't any sky, just void. But the void looked so beautiful and imposing with countless stars shining in it.

After a good bath, Lucien went sleep and he slept for several hours before waking up and decided what to do. Foremost he looked at the situation in the Kunlun Mountains and noticed that the storm was still in its full strength. He judged it would be better if he stayed here for some time.

Lucien went to the training ground and started training Kenjutsu. He never slacked in his training since he started with it. After training for two hours he decided to tour the new areas that were created around the Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory by the upgrade in Grade.

Now the entire area of Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory was at least two times bigger. It expanded mainly in the back area of the floating fortress. Lucien knew that area would serve as a housing area for many Sacred Devourer Ghoul and maybe Vampires if they decided to leave this world with them. Lucien hoped so because Vampires were best at researching magic and technology. From what he heard that on the Blood Island they were best when it came to the research of Magitek.

When the snowstorm finally ended Lucien wore his battle attire and hollow mask and returned to the Kunlun Mountain from the Charles Patricius: Our Transient Glory. He appeared in the same place, from which he disappeared.

Now the weather was much better as there wasn't any wind blowing or snow falling. Lucien smiled widely at this and he proceeded to the deeper parts of the mountains. He wasn't going too fast as he was very cautious about this place. Nobody knows when could be some avalanche or another snowstorm. He could also step on the wrong spot and frozen ground under him would crack and he could fall who knows whereas in some places ground was just frozen snow and ice.

As Lucien was going through this place slowly it took him a week to arrive at the entrance to the inner parts of the Kunlun Mountains. The entrance itself was located in a valley, which was a relatively small one. When he saw the place he noticed there were many people around.

Lucien knew that Washuu Clan had probably some kind of camp here. With his telekinesis, he counted all people here. There were around sixty people here, which meant that this was supplying point and also sentry. From the sixty-five here, fifty were mercenaries for sure, because they were clothed like ones. Some were holding even assault rifles and were clothed in various types of clothing to keep them warm.

Lucien knew that these people are just some weaklings at B-rate and maybe a few of them would be of rate. But then there were exactly 10-people in pitch black heavy leather long coats, which were similar to those coats which agents of Vasuki are wearing. But this was some kind of version of cold environments. Apparently, these people were agents of Vasuki as they were clothed in a similar fashion and all of them had katana handing at their waists.

And lastly there were five middle-aged men, in luxurious clothing and all of them wore masks covering their faces. Same as the agents of Vasuki, they also had katanas handing at their waists. Lucien could fell from their auras that they should be stronger than those agents of V and a small grin formed on his face.

It was time to tint this pure white snow with some blood.
