Kunlun is originally the name of a mythical mountain believed to be a Taoist paradise. Apparently first to visit this paradise was, according to the legends, King Mu of the Zhou Dynasty. He supposedly discovered there the Jade Palace of the Yellow Emperor, the mythical originator of Chinese culture, and met Xi Wang Mu, the Spirit Mother of the West, usually called the Queen Mother of the West.

Also Kunlun or Kunlun Shan is an important symbol representing Axis Mundi and divinity. Axis Mundi is certain beliefs and philosophies, is the world center, or the connection between Heaven and Earth. As the celestial pole and geographic pole, it expresses a point of connection between sky and earth where the four compass directions meet. At this point travel and correspondence is made between higher and lower realms. Similar to the Kunlun Shan in China is Mount Fuji, Japan. Also others as Mount Olympus or Mount Kailash. Of course, there exist many more places that are also regarded as Axis Mundi.

Kunlun has also a lively bestiary as various more-or-less fantastic beasts and birds described as present in its environs. Often the tiger or beings with tiger-like features are associated with Kunlun, since the tiger is symbolic of the west, as Kunlun is often associated with the Western Paradise.

The flora of Kunlun and its environs is in keeping with the rest of its natural and supernatural qualities and includes the Pearl and Jade Trees, the Tree of Immortality, and Tree Grain, the last of which Muhe was forty feet in height and five spans in thickness.

And lastly, Kunlun Mountain is a major scene of action in various myths and legends, where many important events happened. One of the most notable ones was the marriage of Nüwa and Fuxi. They were sibling and also husband and wife. Nüwa is the mother goddess of Chinese mythology, the sister and wife of Fuxi. She is the creator of mankind and is also credited with repairing the Pillar of Heaven. Fuxi is her brother and husband, also credited with creating mankind. He was first of the Three Sovereigns at the beginning of the Chinese dynastic period. Fuxi was an ancient Chinese god who is said to have shown the ancient Chinese people how to domesticate animals.

Then when he finished this book he took out another one. This one book was a little special. It wasn't a book in true meaning but a rather compilation of various records that Lucien managed to obtain through Akashic Records. They were records only about one theme.

Solheim.

First civilization of the world Eos, which was the extremely strong world, much stronger than this one. The records about Solheim weren't complete because his authorization in Akashic Records wasn't high enough and he couldn't access all pieces of information.

They were creators of the first Magitek technology and created a civilization that fused magic and technology together, reaching unprecedented highs. They created powerful magitek soldiers that were capable annihilating most powerful armies across the multiverse. Strong magitek constructs that were able to slaughter the strongest cultivators of various planes.

Might of Solheim civilization was so high, but an unknown plague named Starscourge managed to annihilate almost the entire world, killing every living being. Lucien also read about the potential of complete magitek technology.

Solheim civilization powered their machines by usage of a magitek core. The only thing used to create magitek core was some source of energy like an energy crystal or something that contained a lot of energy in it.

Lucien was amazed at all of this. Might of the Solheim Civilization must be fearsome when it was at its peak. He wondered if he would be able to recreate all of this sometime. Another interesting this was the Magitek engine.

They were various aircraft types that were capable even traveling through space when they are built with the right materials and enough strong magitek core. From what Lucien knew that on Blood Island they were capable of producing only magitek infantry for now.

After one hour or so, Lucien got bored of reading about magitek and all those records. He stooped reading and went to meditate a little to calm himself before the storm that was coming. He was aware the moment he arrived at the Kunlun Mountains the fights would start and they would only end by the annihilation of one party. Either he or Washuu Clan and their lackeys.

When Lucien arrived at the place, it was already around noon. He quickly exited his jet that landed on private are near the Kunlun Mountains. He went to find his pre-arranged car that was already prepared for him here. There weren't almost any people here and it looked very abandoned place from the first look.

After a short time, he found the car, which was surprisingly some luxurious BMW limo in black color. It was parked in the same area as Lucien's jet landed. He got into the car and then he drove to the Kunlun Mountains. Fortunately, his jet dropped him near the Kunlun Mountains so by a car he was at the location after two or three hours of driving.

As he was driving he was also watching and admiring the environment around him. The entire area was very nice and it gave a feeling of nature and peace. He arrived at the location after two hours of driving at the full speed.

When he stepped out of the car he admired the Kunlun Mountains as he seen them now for the first time in his life. The Mountains themselves were majestic and beautiful. They were actually snowed mountains cause they were high in the above the sea level.

Lucien was clothed in his battle attire and also wore the hollow mask that Uta made for him. Even though it was very cold here and when he entered mountains it would be even more but he wasn't bothered by it. As Sacred Devourer Ghoul and had innately higher resistance to the cold and heat. Also being in baron rank, these temperatures weren't enough to do something to him.

He scanned his surroundings, searching for some enemies but there weren't any here. This was a good start and then he proceeded to enter mountains themselves. Lucien was currently located at the outer part of the Kunlun Mountains. He knew that the ancestral site of the Shi Xue Clan was located at the deepest parts of the Kunlun Mountains.
