One Year Later, Planet Ilter, Level-1 Portable Fortified Stronghold, Command Center

During this one year, not many things have changed. Only several, but a very important thing happened. The first thing was that the sacred denitrification process was done, and Holy Niflheim Empire obtained more than 20,000 Sacred Devourer Ghouls to increase its low population. This was a very good thing.

Second thing was that all fortifications around Planet Ilter were complete, and now the entire planet and even entire Signa System was turned into one huge fortress, that would be used to defend the borders of the Empire, and also would be the starting point for the conquest of the surrounding systems.

The number of Battleships has increased, not doubled, but still reached a nice number of overall, 160 Ardent-Class Battleships. What increased more, were Magitek Infantry Soldiers, as they were manufactured for the whole year, practically non-stop, as Empire needed workforce. Armored Swordsman-Type reached a terrifying number of one million and three hundred thousand. Armored Assassin-Type reached a number of two hundred thousand, and finally, Armored Sorcerer-Type reached a number of eighty thousand.

Currently, Lucien was sitting on his throne at the commanding center of the Level-1 Portable Fortified Stronghold, and petting his flerken Isla. When Isla was born she was basically the most lovable little cute thing ever. She was very friendly towards Itori, Seira, his sister Artemia and his mother Selene who often came to play with her, pet her or bring her some snacks from the rare mutated beast. To others, especially to people, she doesn't know, she was pretty aggressive. One time, she was scared out by several marching Magitek Infantry Soldiers, when she was sleeping on the tree branch, and in her anger she destroyed them all with her tentacles, making out a scrap metal out of them. Though she was very young, her strength was terrifying. Growth of the Flerken is fastest during one year after birth, afterward, it would slow down to regular tempo, but her cultivation speed is still comparable to some geniuses in various worlds.

"Your Highness, we have got a message from Her Highness Seira, that conquest of the Aquamarine System is done, and native civilization was exterminated. They have fought to the death, and thousand of Magitek Infantry Soldiers." Reported one of the officials.

"How is the state of Aquamarine System?"

"Beside civilization that was on the Roqon Planet, there isn't any life besides mutated beasts. We have found several lodges of metals and ores and already started working on mining them. We have also found several mutated beast species, that weren't found before, and most of them are suitable for breeding purposes, so they have been captured and transported to the Breeding Planets." Reported official.

Holy Niflheim Empire, had the strict qualification of planets, based on their usage. Breeding Planet, was a planet inhabited only by mutated beasts, it was like a small kingdom for them, they were continuously reproducing, thus creating an endless stream of materials for Blood-Essence Pills. Then there was Forge Planets, where many factories, refineries, and other similar subjects were placed. The last type was Fortress Planet, this was basically a combination of several sub-types of planets, Garden Planet / Fortress Planet, and Knight Planet. As Empire was small in population, they fused these three kinds, íinto one to be more effective.

"Good, very good." Said Lucien mildly, as he continued petting Isla. After several minutes, he felt a strange feeling, not only him but also, Isla started twitching. Flerkens were very sensitive to energy and its changes.

"Immediately found out what happened." Commanded Lucien as soldiers went to fulfill his command. Around the time, a number of gigantic and monstrous doorways appeared all over the globe. The doors were etched with all sorts of engravings, depicting skeletons, Mutant Beasts, demons, werewolves, giant bugs. They gave off a terrifying aura. When the doors appeared, all lifeforms near them were instantly filled with fear, as they scrambled to flee as far as they could. It was like instinctive feeling, countless mutated beasts fled the moment those doors appeared.

It didn't take too long for them to find out about what had happened, as the entire planet was surrounded by tens of Ardent-Class Battleships, and one Orbital Space Defense Fortress was permanently stationed at the orbit of the Planet Ilter, not talking about Level-1 Portable Fortified Stronghold that was built here.

"Your Highness, several huge gates have appeared around the entire planet. We have confirmed that this phenomenon has occurred only on the Planet Ilter, and not on any of the planets that are under the control of the Empire. Based on available information, we have identified them as Gates of Hell." Reported intelligence officer.

'Hmm... how could they appear here. Even though we are on the outskirts of the Death Zone and very close to the influence of the God-Devil System, something like this shouldn't be possible, but alas what is a problem. They are probably leading that place, where the God-Devil System is hidden.' Thought Lujcien in his head.

"Immediately mobilize entire Army of Magitek Infantry. Call every free Holy Imperial Knight from Imperial Capital to the Planet Ilter. Inform Fleet Admiral to divide the Fleet among the Gates of Hell, and let Battleships to guard them. Also, inform Emperor, and ask for reinforcements, tell him to let grandfather come." Lucien barked one order after another. Right now his biggest worry was what would come out of the Gates of Hell. Even though they had quality, they were lacking in quantity. What Lucien feared the most, was the enemy that thought was weaker, would drown them in numbers.
